Silks post broke the last page somehow.

Any how, Lockjaw looks great so it gets my stamp of approval.
Looks to be just above AoS and the Netflix stuff but not quite as good as the movies. Looking forward to it.
Too bad Quicksilver's dead though. |
It does not look just above AoS or the Netflix shows (including Iron Fist), "imo". This trailer, to me, is the weakest reveal Marvel dropped since Marvel Studios became a thing. And that's in a context where they made a decent looking Cloak & Dagger trailer.
I have a few other thoughts about this show being a bit of a misstep from the jump, with a hard left turn from a feature to being a TV show (somebody important lost faith in it being a movie). Also it doesn't seem to have any connection to a decent running MCU TV show that spent the better part of two seasons introducing the concept of Inhumans to a mass audience. So when they announce an Inhumans show, that doesn't involve Skye/Daisy/Quake who went from annoying to great over the last four years, and expecting people to connect to a whole different sect of Inhumans, they are rolling a dice. Perhaps you think they rolled the dice before with magic hammers, talking raccoons, and men who shrink - but this is a special case. They set up audiences with their original intent for expanding Inhumans; they want mutants. They want the narrative themes that come with mutants. But Fox has the mutants. So years ago Inhumans become this new race of 'people with powers' within Marvel comics rather than this small corner of the universe. It was speculated way back when this was Marvel Studios way of having mutants without stepping on Fox's shoes and it was correct. Now fast forward and Inhumans become a big arc in AoS, but without any of the traditional Inhuman characters. Perhaps they felt we weren't ready for moon based monarchies at the time, but what we got was good TV. And it did well give us all those X-Men narrative beats (allegories for bigotry, comfort with who you really are, oppression, supremacy, etc). But now... they wanna pull the trigger and give us the real Inhumans. Seemingly unrelated to AoS and certainly not the X-Men allegory drama intact. In fact it seems they don't even believe in the characters' own setting, bringing the family drama down to earth by episode one. I don't think that's going to work and they should have segued into them using AoS first, or at least making it clear how they connect/responded to all the craziness happening to earth. I'm making an argument from a casual perspective since I never read a bunch of Inhuman books. And for all I know they will link this show to AoS or the greater MCU (this starting as an MCU project). But so far I think they have bigger issues than a bad wig. |
Lockjaw looks great, tho.
Lockjaw needs to have a bigger, bushier, more majestic mustache.
Looks like a decent adaptation of The Inhumans...... who I never found terribly interesting in the comics I read, so we will see if the show will be more interesting. |
I thought Josh Brolin was suppose to be Thanos?
He is
So he's Cable and Thanos?
Yeah. X-men universe is seperate from the MCU.
Plus Thanos is motion capture CGI character.
If they ever did manage to get an MCU/Sony joint universe thing going on, it'd be amazing to have Deadpool mention how they both look alike, or could even make some kind of reference about having the same actor play two characters while everyone else looks on confused.

And you know he can't be far behind her.

Can't imagine what the world will be like knowing Stan Lee isn't a part of it, anymore.

Probably no different than the world is now, I'd imagine.

Recent sneak peek @ Infinity War. I'll put it into spoiler tags as it someone writing about the video rather than an actual video. Here is a badass pic of Thanos tho :D

If Captain Marvel is set in the 90s, I hope that they add a lot of pouches and spikes to her costume.
And a cybernetic arm.
Anybody finding it interesting that Skrulls are being used in the MCU?
Why?
It's cool, but there's nothing extraordinary about that. |
I think he finds it interesting because they could potentially fall under "Fantastic Four" characters and the Fox license.
Oh...
Damn, well that's kinda hard to determine seeing how everyone fought the Skrulls already, but they did indeed first show up in a FF book. |
There's some crap quality leaked footage of that Infinity War trailer on YouTube. Looks absolutely incredible. Couldn't be bothered to post it here coz I figured it'd be taken down by the time anyone clicked on it. But hey ho, it is fucking epic.

ah nevermind, found it, disney blocked it
Couldn't really make out enough if it was anything similar to his Nomad days, but he was indeed rocking a beard.
Did he have the shield while rocking the beard?
INVESTIGATION!!!! |
How many Thors do they need?
They got 3 now. Probably gonna hit double digits by the end of the year.
Volstagg got ahold of the Ultimate Thors Hammer after having a bunch of children burnt to a crisp in his arms. To say he's a little unhinged at the moment is an understatement
Is Beta Ray Bill dead or something? Why make yet another 'Thor'? And it's still awkward treating Thor's birthname as a mantle. Just dumb. "Introducing the All-New All-Different Luke Cage, a mixed race woman from Panama."
Ant-Man doesn't make the poster-cut..... that's rough......
He and Wasp are going to be in the second part of the story.
Oh..... is it confirmed that they aren't in the first part at all? Seems "weird" not to have Ant-Man in it......
Remember the only movies between the Infinity War movies is Ant-Man & Wasp and Captain Marvel. Carol's story is an MCU flashback so the events there won't really effect the ongoing Infinity story, but I'm betting Ant-Man 2 will be a direct link between two big events that will usher them into the second part of the story.
And on that Michelle Pfieffer has been cast as Janet Van Dyne, the 1st Wasp. I was thinking it would be Sharon Stone who was rumored to be doing something MCU related. |
Is that official?
If so Thanos' Black Order is in this. Probably one of the most badass group of minions I've seen in comics in a long time. |
Fuck their names alone are badass.
Ebony Maw Corvus Glaive Black Dwarf Proxima Midnight Supergiant |
Dissapointed Super Giant didnt make the cut
(Small gripe tho)
Curious how they'll "connect" the movies from TV verses after Infinity War. Seems like such an epic collision it would be hard to ignore by simplying name dropping...unless the battles dont take place on earth at all.
Said this before, but the battle against thanos is likely going to be massive in scale, and it wouldn't be out of the ordaniry to see the defenders fighting on the street level.
I'm not expecting a 1v1 fight between luke cage and super giant, but a 10 second cameo of the defenders protecting civilians from thanos' soldiers would completely make sense. |
I'd like to see some of the Agents of SHIELD in the background too..... might be "tougher" since they have a TV series continuity to worry about......
But, hey, Mockingbird isn't on the show anymore, they could have her and Hunter show up.... Mockingbird can have a "moment" with Hawkeye, and Hunter could be all "Uhhhhhh" |
I think the shows using footage from the movies to account for their presence during the films would be adequate
Also the model for Thanos is reallt awful...no cowl? |
I'm sure he'll have the cowl too. He's gone without the cowl at times in the comics
Well Glaive, Midnight and Black Drawf look great atleast
Proxima Midknight looks jacked. Wonder who's gonna play her.
Hate the look, probably gonna love her in the movie anyway.
Yeah, they cheaped out on the look.
Budget went into her hair
Ahaha
I just realized...comic fans are going to complain that shes not "white", and outsiders are going to think they mean her race because who the fuck besides comic fans has even heard of domino. Can't wait for all the recreational outrage on facebook and twitter. |
She's light enough to still use the black diamond on her eye and her hair isn't very 'assassin-y' but yeah she'll like be a great character. And she may make the X-Force movie roster so get used to her.
I'm ok with this. I really am.
She's freakishly white (even kinda blue sometimes?) in the comics, so I don't really give a fuck about her being black.
Thing is she looks like early 90s Lenny Kravitz. |
Yeah, nobody cares whether the actress is black or white, but her pure white skin is part of her mutation, and her signature look.
It's like wolverine without his signature do'. |
Like sixx said, I'm sure the character will be fine, and it's not the end of the world, but it would have nice to see an authentic appearance as she is a visually striking character in the comics.
Yeah i wish she were white. But its fine.
So Inhumans is apparently garbage. Don't think anybody will be too surprised.
I'll have to see it myself but yeah it didn't look too strong.
Cable
SPOILER: show |
Ugh, that looks shit.
Why is he so skinny? Josh Brolin is usually way more jacked than that. And why does he have a teddy bear? Or is it a turd? Meh.
Needs more pouches
I'm happy with it. :y:
Though I am slightly disappointed that there's no ridiculously huge shoulder pads. |
Looks great

Teddy may be a reference to Hope Sommers. |
He looks like John Cena.

Easy to tell with most videos these days.
A fake civil war trailer got me good once. My lesson there was timing. |
Well, now I feel like a knob. :p
Finished reading Infinity Gauntlet earlier this morning. Great stuff. Didnt see the Nebula stuff coming. I loved the Captain America standing tall part, but I feel like Scarlet Witch's part was lame. Isnt she one of the most powerful?

Crazy how MCU hasnt introduced Adam Warlock.

Man...it's looks bad...I cant lie...but t has Lockjaw...
Why did they hire the dude that made Iron Fist to do it...he seems 'not good' at making tv series
I must be one of the only ones who liked Iron Fist...... meanwhile Luke Cage is getting all kinds of critical acclaim and I didn't really care for that one at all.....
Want to see Luke Cage/ Iron Fist after season 2 of each...
