impactwrestling.com makes me cringe. Might as well design a fan site which will be like 100% better than the original.

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-27-2016 02:10 AM

Looks like a blog now.

Mr. Nerfect 06-27-2016 07:12 AM

I'm really not into Kenny Omega.

Big Vic 06-27-2016 09:30 AM

That's ok, it's your right.

It looks really bad and cheap.

Hell, my local indy promotion has a better website than that, and that's saying something.

Cool King 06-27-2016 10:25 AM

Also, what is up with this?

What purpose does that being a gif serve? They might as well have an image instead of a really shitty gif of Drew Galloway nodding.

What is this picture from?

A bit of an obscure question, but what is the name of the redhead referee that appears occasionally in TNA. Pretty much the only referee they have had for a while other than both Hebners and Stiffler?

It is utter garbage

The "footer" on each page has the copyright logo and the year 2015 :nono:

I want to wreck it so that they can rebuild it.

With this new WWE2k17 ad where Heyman calls out Lesnars past opponents of Taker, Cena, Rollins and Goldberg....They have to be putting together a rematch between Berg/Brock right?

Goldberg beat Brock the first time.

“I had a talk with WWE,” said Angle. “It’s confidential. I will not be returning for the draft. Possibly in the future, most likely next year, but that is not a guarantee. It was a loose conversation but I will be in touch with Triple H [Paul Levesque] in the future.”

Pretty much follows what he said leading up to his TNA retirement about him and the WWE not being serious about a potential return till next year. Angle had hinted before he'd be ok with just coming back for the Hall of Fame and a retirement match if possible.

I remember CM Punk saying that one of his worst opponent in the WWE ring was Elijah Burke.

Cool King 06-27-2016 03:53 PM

Seeing CM Punk and Elijah Burke's name in the same sentence just reminds me of this video.

I have high expectations for the new brand extension. It seems like there has been a change in philosophy after Wrestlemania 32. The folks are putting more effort into storylines and talents who have made their name outside of the WWE development system are getting "just treatment". I am glad that wrestlers like AJ Styles, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn etc. are in the company at the time where the audience is well informed and the company is "some what" trying to cater to them.

I enjoyed CM Punk's run in the WWE. If it weren't for the pipe bomb on RAW, I would've easily given up on WWE. The storyline had quite an impact on the overall product and we saw these fine people as champions by the end of the year.

Raw preview, June 27, 2016: 'The Dude' doesn't abide
Seth Rollins evaded Dirty Deeds Thursday night on SmackDown, but he likely won’t be as lucky when he crosses paths with WWE Champion Dean Ambrose at Raw. Will The Lunatic Fringe get his hands on The Architect, three weeks before they collide in WWE Battleground’s anticipated Triple Threat Match?

Now I'm picturing Seth Rollins coming up and going "Nobody fucks with the Cross Fit Jesus"

Droford 06-27-2016 04:20 PM

Battleground it's

Also, Xavier Woods vs. Kenny Omega is one of the greatest battles in the history of our sport.

And by our sport, I mean video games.

And the fact that they REALLY played DDR after the Street Fighter battle.

Stephanie McMahon says Brock Lesnar is in one of the most unique positions of any WWE star. In an interview with Business Insider conducted last week at the Cannes Lions festival in France, Stephanie talked about Lesnar returning to the UFC octagon while still under contract with WWE.

Stephanie says the UFC and WWE are not competitors because one is competitive sport and one is entertainment. Stephanie says WWE is more like a Hollywood production than a sport, and WWE has an advantage as far as television goes because they can script their protagonists and antagonists.

“UFC, they can make a big star but the second that person loses, they lose credibility, and how do you continue to make that star rise?” Stephanie said. “So I think [WWE has] the best of both worlds and the opportunity to tell the stories in the way we want to tell them.”
:| Going to assume she had a big brain fart with that last paragraph. UFC's done a way better job handling their big stars with losses than the WWE has for years or else the company wouldn't be worth like 4x the WWE is.

Lesnar also being a big counter example to her claims.

Someone try and help me by telling me about something worth caring about in the world of professional wrestling right now. I'm so down on everything.

This time last year, I was watching Raw and PPV's live from beginning to end and it would be unthinkable that I would not watch live or skip past things or even not watch at all, but it's all happened in the space of a year.

I've never really felt like this since I began watching religiously way back in the 90's, but at this moment in time, I really couldn't give a damn about the WWE. For me, there's far more negatives than positives when it comes to their product.

I'm not saying it's all their fault, as I'm assuming that the majority of the reasons are due to me and my "tastes" changing or whatever. There's just so much going on with the product that I just don't find interesting, be it the wrestlers, storylines or matches.

It's a strange feeling. :-\

For me, the only real positives, when it comes to the WWE product, are Seth Rollins and Cesaro. I honestly can't think of any more "serious" positives.

Sure, I like other guys, but the wrestlers I'm legitimately interested in and would like to watch, cheer on and see succeed, rarely get used, so most times I'm left thinking "Why bother watching when all I'm going to be watching is a show full of guys I don't care about?". :-\

Hopefully, and that's a big "hopefully", this draft will fix that and more talent will get more TV time, matches and storyline involvement.
