Cormier has said in the past that he wants to debut as a commentator and then move into the ring. While I’m sure the Saudi money could talk, this could be the beginning to Cormier doing something for Mania too.

Ricochet in for the save and turns into a tag team match. Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa d. Madcap Moss & Ricochet. Intermission Hit Row d. Maximum Male Models Liv Morgan d. Sonya Deville Drew McIntyre & Sheamus d. the two members of Imperium who aren't Gunther... dunno their names. My fav match was probably Maximum Male Models v Hit Row, and really my first time seeing either of them. MMM probably got the second loudest boos of the night, if not the loudest, and were super fun to watch... probably my fav match of the night just cause it was fun. They cut a promo before the match and it is a premium gimmick lol Next loudest boos after them probably Imperium but feel like that was more about who they were facing, while MMM were truly earning their heat. Loudest cheers went to Drew McIntyre when he got the hot tag, followed by Sami Zayn after he got on the mic after the match and told us to acknowledge him and said some pro-Canada stuff. |

Swagger debuted in ECW 14 years ago. He still has this feeling of “Hmm, I dunno if he’s going to make it…” over him even after being largely gainfully employed for almost a decade and a half.

Wrestling is in such an exciting place right now. WWE is building and building every week to become the company we all have wanted it to be for our whole lives basically. Triple H is the absolutely perfect person to run the show and I don't think there is a debatable "other option" for the job at this point, not even close.
Triple H is somehow taking Crown Jewel and making it a show worth watching. With Jake Paul vs Roman as a huge spectacle match, it looks like we may also see DC vs Brock Lesnar! Not confirmed of course but you can see it in the cards. That would be really awesome. With AEW it's still got a lot of fun going on but sure it's certainly taken a couple of counter strikes lately. Luckily there are some talents there that are more than worth watching and the show has still been worth keeping up with. It's weird that all this good stuff is going on but at the same time wrestling still kind of sucks more than ever. I don't know how to explain it. |
It's been weird for sure. It at times had its moments where there has been a slip up but for the most part, it has been really good. HHH knows what he is doing and he has a real eye for the business.

Don't care much for TNA and never have, really, but kudos to them for carving out a little niche and finding TV partners that are comfortable with them where they are.
The best thing about TNA outlasting AEW potentially will just be telling marks that lolTNA beat AEW. That being said, I don't think they will outlast AEW. If anything, they'll try to kill TNA if they start tanking so that they can take their spot on the network that doesn't care if their ratings stink. |

I really enjoyed TNA around 2006-2008 when I watched, was more enjoyable than WWE at the time and more enjoyable than what I have seen of AEW. Wasn't "cool" yet to dislike the WWE, so they were never able to take off... (and also they went way downhill quick after I stopped watching, but I loved that brief period)
