A person who uses the assault rifle mounted grenade launcher.

Over 2.5 million Stimulus Package map packs sold. Expect more audaciously priced DLC from other publishers in the future.

I thought everyone (at least ones that discuss in this thread) that plays this game knew what a noob tuber was :o

What grates me is when I use one for a brief period to take out a nest everyone gives me shit so I stopped using it. Fast forward a couple of days and everyone does it to me (unrelated players).

Was playing search and destroy last night for the first time (loved these games in the originals). A load of kids were playing but they were fucking amzing compared to me. I hated being the last man standing though because you know all your team is watching. Was defending one time, screwed up a shot (gave an inanimate object hell though) with five seconds to go, so just sprinted away. The guy I was shooting was all like 'where was he' and my team were just like 'he ran away'. Didn't really want to talk to kids so didn't bother.

Oh yeah I still don't know how to use a grenade launcher when I have it as an attachment :$

Press left on the D-Pad & it will put it in attachment mode.

As mentioned earlier, I don't understand how I can shoot a dude like 10 times with low level gun and then he just shoots one bullet in my leg and I die. PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF!!! 12 year olds talking shit is mad annoying.

Also, aim for the chest, as most guns recoil up, the 2nd and 3rd shots while hit neck then head.

No it can't, since the UMP is a 3 shot kill from any range.

He's right though. Shooting 1 Barrett if faster than 3 UMPs.

More than anything I hate getting 4 or 5 torso hits from near point blank only to be stabbed by the guy I was shooting

I think I have made the most hated setup in the game. Been rocking an ACR red dot with the AA-12 as my secondary, with the claymores as my equipment. Using scavenger, stopping power, and ninja as my perks. Have not played a game yet where someone didn't mouth me for using this setup.

er thats a completely standard setup, only ones people dislike are Noob Tube/Thumper Scavanger and people who use marathon commando and lightweight and just sprint around stabbing

Tell that to the crybabies I've been playing with over the past few days. Bitch about my no recoil assault rifle that I'm always just "spraying", and my automatic shotgun that is just so cheap.

I agree with you it really is just a basic setup, but the elite players I've been playing with seem to frown upon it.

Which is why I turned off the voice function after a few weeks of playing.

Ok, the point I was attempting to make is guns fire different and with different damage.

Official Playstation Magazine UK is set to reveal the next COD in the next issue, due out May 17.

For PS3 and PC people: Map Pack comes out May 4 for PC and PS3.

Then again, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that has posted in this thread that plays on PC :o

Its not a matter of lower class guns either. I still tear up with an M4 and Spas when I am bored.

Is it free for PC? I know World at War's Map pack came in patches.

It was free for Modern Warfare 1.

It'll probably be $15, but nothing other than the release date has been announced :mad:

It'll have a price on PC. One of the reasons they blocked dedicated servers was so they could flog DLC like they do on consoles.

"As a result of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, West and Zampella were prohibited from withholding such consent unreasonably or in bad faith."

"Nevertheless, prior to the termination of their employment with Activision, West and Zampella unreasonably and/or in bad faith refused to provide this consent in an effort to gain an unfair advantage in negotiations with Activision and in an improper attempt to gain an advantage for themselves in connection with their plan to leave Activision and establish their own company," the suit states.

"Among other things, they delayed pre-production of Modern Warfare 3 and attempted to improperly leverage their rights under the MOU to obtain further advantages for themselves and concessions from Activision."

The countersuit continues on to say Activision has had to spend additional development costs for the project due to Zampella and West breaching the MOU.

"As a direct and proximate result of this breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, Activision has been forced to commit additional resources to Modern Warfare 3, institute litigation to seek a declaration of rights, and incur costs and attorneys' fees, and will incur additional expenses in connection with securing the benefits of the MOU."

"Accordingly, Activision has been damaged as a result of West and Zampella's actions in an amount to be proven at trial."

An Activision representative told IGN the company has no additional comments about the development of Modern Warfare 3.

So much for the time skip theory if its Modern Warfare.

Doesn't mean that MW3 is this year though. IW have said they start work on the next one soon after the last one and it takes about 2 years of work.

But we'll find out pretty soon.

It's not a matter of "if" but "when" -- there's a new Call of Duty game coming out this year, make no mistake about it.

According to a teaser in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, we'll find out more next month, prior to E3. The magazine teases an exclusive reveal of the title in its next issue, which is said to hit newsstands on May 17. Outside of the fact that the game will feature at least one grenade, that's all of the information we have right now.

called in my first nuke tonight! Had games of 17 and 19 killstreaks before i hit my 25 :D made two people quit when i called it in, who were talking shit the whole time in the lobby prior.

Most killstreak I ever had was 10. And I'm at lvl 70 of first prestige. :(

i played nothing but free-for-all the entire night, so getting that 25 streak was a real pain in the ass at time, particularly when i would call in my chopper gunner.

yeah the next cod is the one that was already mentioned about time skipping and stuff. cheapyd said he knows someone on that project and said it's true.

Had a blast last night on SnD. Whole team went with the Riot Shield to mess with the other team. Was really fun, and we won some really close games. Also found that it is nearly impossible to lose on Terminal when your team is using the riot shields.

Yay, mastered every assault rifle, SMG, and LMG :o

My highest kill streak is 24, didn't have the nuke yet :(

FAL is the single shot rifle. Pretty hard to be good with, because you have to aim right where you want it, instead of having a burst, or being able to just hold down the trigger. Can't just spray across someone. Just saying, as far as assault rifles go it is a pretty 'difficult' gun to use successfully.

Also, just got my Fall camo for it yesterday, which made me quite giddy.
