Juan being made a wrestling forum mod is akin to treason against TPWW

Bad News Gertner 06-01-2016 03:05 PM

Oh owen stop being a baby, Juan is a wonderful man

Shisen Kopf 06-01-2016 03:10 PM

I just hope Juan doesn't piss all over the rasslin forum with shitty moderating again. Hopefully he saves all the getting pissed on for his weekend activities!

Bad News Gertner 06-01-2016 03:19 PM

I'm glad TPWW is becoming so multicultural. Plus Juan's integrity is just so rock solid.

Hey, I'll be a great mod! What are you so angry about?

I like how you see all the cameras on their tripods in the background.

But seriously, are TNA somehow proud of this? I don't think I've ever been so confused watching anything wrestling related as I was while watching that.

I was actually thinking the same thing on Monday.

After nine months away from wrestling, I decided to see what the status was with TNA, as last I remembered, they were dying a slow death and to my amazement, I discovered they were still alive, but their website would probably make you think otherwise.

I genuinely thought they would be dead by now and I can't understand how they're still alive today.

The best thing would be to just put TNA out of its misery and just end it. Before, most people would do the whole "loltna" thing, but it's genuinely now just one big massive joke.

It's just getting depressing and embarrassing now.

I do enjoy them.

Are they currently going through some kind of surge in popularity?

It's just that I've been noticing more and more signs at Raw of the "WhatCulture Wrestling" logo on almost a weekly basis now.

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-01-2016 04:29 PM

I think Adam blampeed's voice has gotten whatculture over big. He doesn't say anything earth shattering, but good delivery and timing and he can laugh at himself.

Also on the business of Shane (and Steph), they do deserve respect because they worked ground up for the company. Not like they walked in and ran shit. They have paid their dues. My biggest beef is not that they are total marks for themselves, but that they let being total marks for themselves get in the way of the product. Thankfully Undertaker by the sounds of it put his foot down.

In the same way WWE can be utter shit and still thrive based on their past merits, I think TNA can still survive based on theirs.

Their merits being they were the only company to get any kind of widespread recognition after WCW folded when wrestling was still kinda hot. They're still coasting on that to stay alive.

The surprise is that the third hour stayed above 3 million viewers ...

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 3.28 million viewers
9 p.m. 3.32 million viewers
10 p.m 3.08 million viewers

For some reference, Game 1 of the Stanley Cup was a little over 4 million for viewers. In terms of weekly comparisons, Cena's hyped up return was actually down compared to last week although just by around 39k viewers.

Judge Kelly L. Banach's ruling came at the end of a fourth hearing into Snuka's mental competency, following testimony from his wife Carol and Snuka taking the stand himself for a second time over the course of the hearings.

Noting that justice "suffers when it is delayed", Judge Banach said that she sided with claims that Snuka was suffering from dementia and did not believe he would be able to assist his own defense.

When the prosecution tried to object and state that Snuka was simply acting, Banach noted that with all due respect to Snuka, she did not believe he was smart enough to pull it off ...

Judge Banach decreed that a gag order remain in place on the case, preventing anyone involved from publicly commenting on the case and set a new hearing for 12/2 where they will revisit the issue of Snuka's competency and see if anything has changed in that regard. Unless the prosecution opts to drop the charges, this may be the beginning of a pattern where every few months, the court checks in on Snuka to see if his mental state has improved to the point he can stand trial and face the charges against him.

It was so engrained in us; I don't think you could have snapped your fingers and had it go away. There was a transition period. For myself, I only knew WCW. I only knew the experiences I had in WCW. Will do one starting tomorrow since Thursdays are usually when the new Observer newsletter gets released or is the day with the most weekly sheet news.

Should I do it like the Video Game News thread and keep everything as one giant thread or have a new one each week with just that week's sheet news?

Triple A 06-01-2016 10:22 PM

Either one would be cool I think!!! Up to U (obviously)... (or if anyone has any input/preferences)

As hot as the Divas are, I hate how "fake" so many of them look. I wonder how many of them would still be hot without all the makeup.

I am almost sure if or when Matt comes back to WWE he automatically has a Wellness Violation against him.

erickman 06-02-2016 01:13 PM

i am liking matt hardy right now best stuff he has ever done which is sad. wonder when maxal hardy will sign with wwe at 1 year old he is allready in the ring.

Simple Fan 06-02-2016 01:24 PM

You really think that? I'm usually one to defend TNA but I can't with this. I don't think k it's a bad angle though just think that they're over acting. Thought Matt had something with The Matt Hardy Brand thing he had going. Not a fan of this new Matt's voice. Feel like this would be a lot better if they actually showed some emotion and stopped acting. I mean your working with your brother it shouldn't be that hard to show real emotion. Haven't watched any of those videos but I watched Impact and just assume the directors cut is all the video that they showed on Impact Tuesday night.
