Ok so it's not just me then it's the link

Bossman was highly underrated btw imo
One of Hogan's highest drawing house show programs.
Is he? I feel like most people here would agree that he was pretty great. Should he have been somebodies world champion? Nah, I don't think so but he did get a lot of big programs and had his main event's with Hogan.
I also fondly remember him in WCW in particular there was a match with Vader at Spring Stampede 94 that I always really enjoyed. I was usually bored with him in the ring during his WWF run in the late 90's. Though he has a lot of memorable "acting" moments especially with Big Show and his dead daddy and Al Snow. He was fucking hilarious. |
Corporate Security Bossman FTW.
He would bang on the steel steps with his nightstick before every match. Loved Corporate Security Bossman. |

ahahh! so fucking good
Bossman was such a hot babyface in the WWF, the theme slapped and always popped the crowd. His energy, sweating profusely from all the meat he's eaten, the dude is seriously bad ass and he looked like he was gonna really hurt people.

Dead Wrestler Beach is a classic, only making me sad that they could probably add another verse or two with everyone whose died since.

Foley and Conrad just announced his new podcast
Foley is Pod Just what I needed, another podcast to fit in. |
oh welp i'm gonna have to listen to that one
Quote:
But Conrad has so many damn podcasts that I'm praying we don't just get him for the first one and then Paul Bromwell shows up every time. Foley and Conrad interacting sounds like new money to me!
Paul Bromwell on a show is an instant delete.
Yeah he sucks but that other guy that has been doing Kurt Angles podcast, Jon something or other with the effeminate voice is even worse.
They are both just so bland and terrible
I don't listen to that one. Kurt is so dull.
He was entertaining at first but he has gotten dull and just gives basic answers. Doesn't even really have a conversation now to be honest
I am not currently listening to any wrestling podcasts everything has lost my interest. I was enjoying Jarrett's but just fell out. Foley is Pod especially being with Conrad is ideal. He will ask a lot of great questions based off Foley's books likely instead of just The Observer.
Really want to know how he was paid in Japan by IWA/FMW and if he enjoyed his accommodations and stuff. IDK what it is but the whole late 80's early 90's death match scene in Japan fascinates the shit out of me and Cactus and Terry are the two than can really shed light on it.
Foley is always entertaining and I enjoy listening to Stone Cold podcast once in a while too because he pretty much speaks just like his character irl. Love hearing him tell stories completely unrelated to wrestling

I will check out Foley's because Foley is great, but I am so sick of Conrad. How many podcasts does that dude need lol?

This is one of the best things I've seen in a while. I wonder if Funk was ribbing them or if this was the match which was put together. Seemed like a rib based off the reactions of the opponents. Fucking hilarious though. You could see when he was whipped into the ropes, but did the hand-plant top-rope exit, the frustration of the guy as soon as he saw Funk put his arm down to catch himself. Watching it again :rofl::rofl: |
His opponents were dogshit so Terry is doing what he can to pull a match out of them.

Actually I want to scratch that statement. Give William Regal Ezekiel Jackson's WWECW title reign, have confetti fall and everything. Much more deserving of a "world" title reign than anyone on that brand.

Really interesting

This probably says as much about the completeness of Cagematch records throughout the years. i'm assuming they mean total matches on record
https://www.cagematch.net/ https://www.wrestlingdata.com/ |
Because I really can't remember Charlie Haas having one cage match in 2003 let alone 147.
Wow I'm an idiot! Cage match is the name of the site lol so it's the most matches in general in the US or Canada
Very interesting though I definitely would have guessed wrong on the majority of these years
Brian Pullman Jr. has the most with 70 in 2020...fucking covid
apparently john wayne murdoch had 135 death matches last year because i don't think he has regular matches...
Bobby Eaton had 336 matches in 84 lol
1998: Billy(191) I'm assuming that's Billy Gunn since he did go by Billy even though that wasn't until late 2001
Lol, 1998: Billy
Interesting stuff. You’d expect some of those guys to have wrestled more, but I guess the records aren’t complete. Charlie Haas getting on there is interesting. A few names surprise me. Myron Reed seems to be working hard. I’m sure I’ve read about Kane, Dean Ambrose and Sheamus having worked the most matches over the course of a year before, but they don’t appear on this list where I thought they would. |
Kane in 1999 seems one of the most believable to me now that I think about it. It's fun to go back each year and kind of break down what the wrestler was doing month by month/program by program

Oh dang. WWE is pulling out of the stadium show for MITB, presumably because of poor ticket sales or Sgt. Slaughter calling in another bomb threat. Always seemed pretty crazy to do a non big 4 stadium show in the same month you’re doing a big 4 stadium show |
That “big 4” has quickly become a “big 1”. The fact that they even tried to expand it is insane.
Sasha and Naomi calling in a bomb threat is probably the reason though.
how unprofessional!
Gormless, one might even say.
Money in the Bank was a weird step in that direction. 2011 was an awesome PPV, but is it really hot enough to justify a stadium in the same month as another stadium show? The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and one other fit the stadium billing. This year it’s Clash at the Castle.
Quote:
MITB felt more important than Survivor Series in terms of being “big 4” worthy but it still didn’t feel THAT important since most MITB reigns/cash ins were forgettable.
I miss when Survivor Series was good :( it’s been ages |
They tried to make Survivor Series special again by making it “the one night you can see Raw vs Smackdown (and temporarily, vs NXT)”.
It turns out there’s a limit to the bullshit people will believe just because you say it’s a big deal. |

Billy G |
I remember him losing "Mr. Ass" to RTC but I don't recall Billy G lol sounds terrible. It reminds me of Wolfie D from PG-13
