Yeah, thats why I mentioned as a standalone. If I saw the original and it brought what you're saying to light, I'd likely change my rating.

Public Enemies 5/10

Could have been much better.

Jura 07-04-2009 03:13 AM

Watchmen - 8/10

I just realized Dr. Manhattan had a blue penis hanging down there.

PorkSoda 07-04-2009 10:49 AM

In Hell - 6/10.

I never knew Van Damme spoke with an accent.

gatoconbotas 07-05-2009 10:35 AM

Push - 5/10
Pretty lame...

Stickman 07-05-2009 12:25 PM

Transformers 7

It really wasn't taht great.

12 Rounds 6/10

thedamndest 07-06-2009 01:52 PM

12 Rounds FAIL.FAIL/PASS.PASS

SPOILER: show
I guess they decided to director from Die Hard 2 decided to remake Die Hard 3. Everything is the same right down to the ending where it turns out everything the bad guy has had him doing all day is really a distraction so the bad guy can steal a bunch of money. Oh yeah, and the bad guy dies in a helicopter explosion.

Boondock Saint 07-06-2009 05:36 PM

Friday the 13th (Remake) 2/5

Jon Kano 07-06-2009 07:06 PM

Food, Inc.: 6/10. Wanted it to be way better.

Whatever Works: 8/10

Moon: 8.5/10. hate decimals, but it was better than an 8 but not quite a 9.

XL 07-08-2009 05:47 PM

Drag Me To Hell - 5/10

Yeah I get that it was tounge-in-cheek/ironic but sadly that alone does not make a good film. The ending was pretty predictable too. I imagine a lot of the people left the cinema thinking it was the worst film they'd ever seen - especially if they didn't "get it".

The ending was pretty lackluster for my liking. Acting wasn't the best either.

Fanboys 6/10 - Just got done watching it on DVD. It was a good film. No clue why it never made it to the big screen.

Loose Cannon 07-08-2009 11:51 PM

Shooter was awesome and Mark Walburg is the greatest of all-time.

Knowing. wtf, was this movie made in like 2000 or something and not released until now 4/10

thedamndest 07-09-2009 05:06 PM

I Love You, Man 5.5/10

I don't like Paul Rudd. I'm not going to say I hate him, but I just don't think he's that funny. I've tried to get into him but it's not happening. I really like the other guy in this movie, the guy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Jason Something. Decent cast, but Jason Something really carries the movie. Drags a bit at first.

Loose Cannon 07-09-2009 05:15 PM

Jason Segal is awesome

Derryn The Dog 07-09-2009 06:44 PM

The Hangover - 9/10

Transformers 2 - 2/10 Megan Fox was only saving grace and that's only because of her 'acting' abilities.

I can't believe I'm reading this. Tell me it isn't true. thedamndest doesn't like Paul Rudd?!

Why does nobody really like Knowing? I thought it was really good, the ending was a little fooked in the head, but overall, I thought it was great.

Rocky Balboa -10/10. Got to love when you rent movies and they skip, but I thought this movie was awesome how they made Mason the underdog and that nobody cared about him. Then how the fight ended. I haven't seen the first three yet....I think I should.

I'm sorry. He's okay as a sideman in Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin. I just didn't think he could carry the entire movie. I have not seen Role Models and I probably will not because I do not like the other guy in it. I think I have officially reached the "I don't care for Paul Rudd..." stage.

Sean William Something

College 7/10

Lots of good titties in the movie. For that I give it a ten, but the overall quality of the film is awful.

Kalyx triaD 07-10-2009 10:29 PM

Jesus Camp - 5/5

lol Fail Camp.

Loose Cannon 07-10-2009 11:38 PM

lol, what a terrible movie Jesus camp was.

anyway, I watched 12 Rounds Thed. it was a lot better then expected. I did find it funny that they ripped off Die Hard and Speed and probably other shit. I thought Cena was a natural though. honestly, he's good as a action actor. a generous 7/10

Inkheart: This was what I expected. fun movie to watch with the wife. not really much to say I guess 7/10

honestly, didn't Knowing come off like it was produced in the early 2000's? I felt like I was watching Signs, AI and the Day After Tomorrow all rolled into one.

Skippord 07-11-2009 08:22 AM

Chasing Amy - 9/10

only one of the view askew movies I hadn't seen

Dave Youell 07-12-2009 01:44 AM

Hellboy II: The Golden Army

7/10

Much better than I thought it would be

thedamndest 07-12-2009 02:26 AM

Bruno: 4/10

Drag Me to Hell: 8/10

gatoconbotas 07-12-2009 01:28 PM

Haunting in Connecticut - 8/10 Pretty scary, but had a happy ending.

Four Horsemen - 4/10. The first 30 minutes was lame, the next 15 awesome, then I figured it out and the last 45 minutes of the film sucked because I knew who the killer was. Some sick, twisted shit in there though.

ClockShot 07-12-2009 03:08 PM

Public Enemies - 3/5

This got an R rating because...........?

The Genius 07-12-2009 09:35 PM

Knowing - 6/10

I was enjoying it up until the ending which was just the dumbest thing Ive seen in a while.

Public Enemies - 6/10.

I think it got an R because in the beginning, Christian Bale shoots some guy and it pans down and you can see part of his intestines or something. Also, when Johnny Depp's friend gets killed in the field, Depp bandages him up and it pans down for a split second, you can see the same effect. Also when Depp died because it showed a bullet going through his head. PG-13 wouldn't show stuff like that

I got a free pass to a movie because this theatre the sound kept buzzing so they had to reset the sound system and start it back up. Super

Destor 07-13-2009 07:59 AM

Gran Torino: 8/10

Gonzo 07-13-2009 05:07 PM

Knowing 7/10

Nicolas Cage flick, sci-fi film about an end of the world type scenario. Fairly entertaining.
