Yeah. Bill Simmons has been making a strong case for weeks about how he needs to win the MVP award this year.

That makes no sense. Houston isn't in the playoffs.

While playing the Raiders at home?

Droford 12-28-2014 04:23 PM

weird seeing the nfc South decided on cbs

screech 12-28-2014 04:25 PM

Still don't get why you want BAL to face DEN. Have you seen the Ravens' secondary, Droford?

If you haven't noticed Peyton has been playing like the playoffs already started so it's possible

yeah and I saw Peyton throw 4 picks last week and if the Ravens get pressure on him he'll probably throw 4 more

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 04:28 PM

And then Baltimore gets to play Peyton in the playoffs which is a lock for Baltimore, right?

screech 12-28-2014 04:31 PM

Pack attack running all over the place

Droford 12-28-2014 04:33 PM

kinda hard to choose between Peyton's 8 1 and dones and Andy Dalton 0-3 in the playoffs/Marvin Lewis 0-5

owenbrown 12-28-2014 04:33 PM

Nice to see Droford is just as delusional as usual

given the choices my preference for matchup go Denver Cincinnati and Pittsburgh

first 2 feature perennial playoff chokers

don't want the Ravens to go to Pittsburgh

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 04:51 PM

Well I doubt you'll get your wish since I'm guessing Denver won't have to play next week to advance while the "Gonna run away with the AFC North easily" Ravens have to go on the road against someone they've already lost to.

Droford 12-28-2014 05:03 PM

both Ravens games with the bengals were close even though they lost both. of the option between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh I'm rooting for the bengals to win tonight

Droford 12-28-2014 05:05 PM

lol peyton just had a drop 6 (fumble returned for a td)

Anybody Thrilla 12-28-2014 05:09 PM

How the fuck do you get 1 point? I just read that the Broncos are up 10 to 1 on the Raiders.

Crimson 12-28-2014 05:10 PM

Yea I agree with Droford, I see Denver getting upset at home. Like against Pittsburgh

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:11 PM

There was a challenge on the Raiders touchdown which stalled it being official. I'm guessing what happened is whatever site you read it on updated the extra point before they updated the touchdown.

Anybody Thrilla 12-28-2014 05:12 PM

It was on the ticker at the bottom of the CBS broadcast.

Ruien 12-28-2014 05:15 PM

Droford, when have the Ravens, at any point in the season, played like a team that will go into Denver and win in the playoffs? Manning had 1 bad game. When the hell have the Ravens played good enough to go into Denver and win though?

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:15 PM

Ugh. Seems like St. Louis is gonna need a defensive or special teams touchdown to pull off the upset here. Seattle isn't gonna be held in check all day and their offense isn't gonna do shit.

Droford 12-28-2014 05:16 PM

Seattle losing 3-0 to the rams. I guess they figure playing falcons/panthers is like a bye week

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:22 PM

lol. It's 3-0, Droford. Slow down.

Denver has been relying on the run game since the loss to the rams, Manning has been average at best not throwing for over 250 yards except for last week when he also threw 4 picks and cincy held the run game in check.

and the answer to the last part of that question was january12, 2013

Droford 12-28-2014 05:28 PM

for the record flacco has the most road wins in the playoff history as a qb with 6 so if there's a qb that's proven he can win big games on the road it's him

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:30 PM

Yeah, same exact teams that played on Jan 12, 2013. Ray Lewis is gonna eat up Peyton Manning. He better not throw it Cory Graham's way. Ray Rice and Anquan Boldin will run amok over that defense. Baltimore just better hope Knowshon doesn't go off and they'll be fine.

Droford 12-28-2014 05:32 PM

someone forgot to tell the falcons how important this game was

screech 12-28-2014 05:34 PM

I miss Boldin in Baltimore :(

owenbrown 12-28-2014 05:35 PM

for the record flacco sucks huge elephant balls

The Panthers appear to be well positioned to break the NFC South streak. Since it's inception in 2002, no team has repeated in that division and all 4 teams have won the division 3 times in that span.

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:42 PM

lol I'm 99% sure that caption is a joke.

I remember there was a span of like 4 years where the team that finished last the year before won the division the next year.

Anybody Thrilla 12-28-2014 05:46 PM

Aaron Rodgers carted off. This DET/GB game just got interesting.

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:47 PM

Oh shit. Rodgers...

Droford 12-28-2014 05:49 PM

if that's not his acl I'd be amazed

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2014 05:50 PM

Goddammit. Tell me the Niners not being able to beat the Cardinals is gonna be what fucks this up...
