DAMN iNATOR 06-11-2017 12:33 PM

Cool...I'll definitely check it out when I have time. Will have to see how many GBs of my storage space it wants and see if I have enough.

Fignuts 06-11-2017 03:31 PM

You actually don't have to install anything but playstation now, which I can't imagine even takes up a whole GB. No install for the games. You stream them, which is why mentioned having a good internet. I think PS Now actually runs a test to see if you're internet is fast enough.

Destor 06-11-2017 03:33 PM

Been plodding through the AC franchise. On black flag now. Easily the best one so far and first to feel like a triple A title

Fignuts 06-11-2017 04:57 PM

I dunno, 2 felt pretty big. But yeah, Black Flag is easily the best, and I honestly can't see any future sequels topping it.

Destor 06-11-2017 05:12 PM

I thouht the 2nd enzio game...brotherhood i think....was the best until this point. Really excellent title imo but not like.... "this is a stellar game and i would reccomend it to anyone" good

Yeah, but saw it requires a CC as a backup to fund a subscription in case I didn't have the funds in my "wallet", but no CC, so oh well. At least I Czech Rep.'d it out. :(

Purgatory 06-13-2017 11:31 AM

Little Nightmares. Its an amazing little platformer/puzzle game. I finished it in just about 5 hours, so it is a tad short. Really good tho.

On to Rise of The Tomb Raider now

A.J.K 06-13-2017 12:52 PM

Been Playing Final Fantasy games lately. Going back and forth from FF4 (2 orginally) FF7 and 15. Anyone else on here big into Final Fantasy at all?

I love how each game just draws you in and replay value is tremendous for these games.

You don't see a lot of originality anymore.

road doggy dogg 06-13-2017 01:22 PM

6 s prolly my fav game ever

Destor 06-13-2017 01:46 PM

Ive played them all. I thnk 5 is criminally underrated

I've played through 1-9. Destor is right. 5 is great. Job system is so fantastic. 5 is my favorite, as far as the gameplay is concerned, because every boss, and even a lot of enemies require strategy and management of different jobs, as they all have specific strengths and weaknesses. It was the last game in the series to offer that much dedication to the combat experience, as the series became more about narrative than challenging combat. 6 is actually considered kind of a dud in japan, because for people who played earlier entries, it was a total cakewalk.

road doggy dogg 06-13-2017 03:35 PM

5 is truly fantastic. I don't know about under-rated, maybe more just unknown; everyone I know who has played it rates it pretty highly. I still hold 6 above it, but I think 5 is definitely a top-3 FF game for me

road doggy dogg 06-13-2017 03:36 PM

Gilgamesh's theme is one of the best FF tracks ever toooo

A.J.K 06-13-2017 11:07 PM

i'll have to pick up FF 5 and try it out.

road doggy dogg 06-14-2017 12:12 AM

Definitely do it. I don't know how many ports/remakes they've done for it, but the GBA cartridge should be pretty easy to find and pick up

Destor 06-14-2017 09:40 AM

Download is up through the PSN store

looked on amazon and found a ps1 version with 5 and 6 for 9.99

road doggy dogg 06-14-2017 09:48 AM

hell yeah

road doggy dogg 06-14-2017 09:48 AM

The main character's name in 5 is Butz too, which is great.

e: I think it was actually changed to Bartz in the NA ports

Destor 06-14-2017 12:05 PM

Yeah, Bartz

Fignuts 06-14-2017 12:21 PM

They can change it all they want, but we all know we're playing as Butz.

Destor 06-19-2017 03:01 PM

Began and beat Rime yesterday. Good game. Should have been about $10 cheaper though for the length.

Not sure if Im going to play AC: Rouge, KH: Chain of Memories or Nier next...

ClockShot 06-23-2017 07:03 PM

Platinum'd Ghost Recon: Wildlands finally.

Played the Narco Road DLC that went with it and it was god awful. Nice concept, horrible execution. Gonna pass on Fallen Ghosts, even though I've heard great things about it.

Probably play a bit of Hitman.

Destor 06-23-2017 08:53 PM

Decided on chain of memories...combat is really addictive

Purgatory 06-24-2017 08:14 AM

Planet Coaster and Elite Dangerous. Planet coaster is Roller Coaster Tycoon 4, basically, minus the ability to build a waterpark.

Elite Dangerous is a cool space flight sim (Along the lines of No Mans Sky, but with less bullshit)

ClockShot 06-24-2017 10:31 AM

Getting Elite Tuesday for PS4. Really excited.

Curtis 06-26-2017 11:34 PM

Just bought Evil Within. Pretty disappointed so far, feels like a "Last of Us" rip off rather than a "Resident Evil classic back to the roots" like it was said to be.

That makes no sense.

A.J.K 06-29-2017 04:20 PM

Playing Final Fantasy 8.

Ultra Mantis 06-29-2017 04:44 PM

Started playing The Sexy Brutale, reminds me a lot of Gregory Horror Show and I'm totally fine with that.

ClockShot 06-29-2017 07:36 PM

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered. Good lord I need to sharpen up my multiplayer skills.

Going to start Elite Dangerous next week while I'm on vacation.

Fignuts 06-29-2017 10:08 PM

Yeah, I played infinite warfare with the HWO, and got wrecked. Used to RKO everyone in modern warfare. I should give the remaster.

drave 06-30-2017 06:26 AM

Started doing only multiplayer in The Division. Completely changes the dynamics of how to play.

That shit can get intense on "Challenging" difficulty and/or Incursions. Fun as fuck though.

ClockShot 07-03-2017 10:29 AM

I think I might have to spring for a flight stick for Elite Dangerous for PS4. Or end up going the PC route.

Don't think the controller is going to do the job for a space sim such as this. Spent a lot of time in flight and combat training and I'm lousy at it. But when it comes to Ace Combat and No Man's Sky, no issues.

Any players here? Help a future commander out with some tips?

drave 07-03-2017 04:22 PM

LOTS of practice.

ClockShot 07-03-2017 05:03 PM

Yeah. Been playing nothing but the training missions. Like I said, got most of it down pat already. It's ship combat that's a pain in the ass.

Gonna venture out into the big bad universe tomorrow and see how I fare.

drave 07-03-2017 06:03 PM

Basically revolves around "do a barrel roll" and get behind your enemy. Pew pew after.

drave 07-03-2017 06:03 PM

The time you get yourself caught is when people roam in groups and/or "warp in" when not expecting it.

Ruien 07-04-2017 05:21 PM

Just beat Shovel Knight. Playing the prequel now.
