I thought it was one of Charlotte's better promos. And if its going to get Flair off TV I'm good with it.

of course sadly he really is just some old guy that is Charlotte's dad to these kids.

Him speaking last night was horrible. He was probably about half drunk.

That promo between Ric and Charlotte was one of the worst segments I've seen on RAW in years.

I thought it was great for Charlotte.

How? She clearly got lost and had to keep saying the same things over and over again. It was forced and obvious that neither one of them were comfortable with how it was going. She went from praise to hate to a little praise to more hate. It was utterly ridiculous and awkward. She seemed so confused out there like she didn't know if it was a promo or real. That's the problem I had with it: It was too real. They already had the issue with someone taunting her about her brother committing suicide on air a few months ago and now the writers put her in an angle disowning her father on the air? It was entirely distasteful.

Everyone in the crowd seemed to realize how horrible it was.

That's what I liked about it. It felt real and she showed a lot of emotion. I think it's time for her to drop her father and do her own thing. It did drag on a little bit but I liked it.

Agree but I think it needed to go there. He wasn't there for as a child why should he be there now. Got great heat for Charlotte to.

Because they made it too real. People weren't just booing a character at that point.

I thought that segment was awesome. Brought genuine emotion out of me. Tough to do in today's WWE. Whether you thought it came out perfect or not shouldn't matter. I hate when people complain when somebody stumbles on a few words.

I liked the Charlotte segment. Cool King would definitely hate it, though, since he dislikes all female rasslers who aren't Kaitlyn or Aksana.

the charlotte promo wasn't the smoothest thing ever, but nowhere near as bad as the level of complaints i've seen today imo.

Basically POP TV trying to downplay them getting rid of Impact replays and their relationship with TNA souring recently.

I know she's a lovely person and her dad is sick, but God she fucking sucks as a ring announcer. Have her turn heel and manage someone if you want to keep her around. Put her with a heel Dolph or something.

Man, I really wish Eugene had dumped the special needs gimmick at One Night Stand '06. He could have been a tremendous face (in ECW) or heel (RAW or SmackDown).

I had no clue the Intercontinental Title used to have a purple strap until reading the lovely weekly column by Mathew Sforcina over on Gerty's website.
