Barbarian... not gonna say "underrated" but sure that's kinda what I'm saying. His presence alone, what a monster beastman. As a kid Barbarian was kind of generic to me, simply known as "Barbarian" wasn't really a main event gimmick to me. I found him boring in WWF generally but in WCW he has some cool brutal moments.

He's a guy that could've easily main evented against Hogan but got put in that mid-card spot and never got out of it. Not a bad thing, he got paid for a long time. But with his look, today, he's a fucking superstar.

There is a match I remember him having with Bret Hart on one of the Coliseum Video tapes. I remember I watched it a lot as a kid and I always enjoyed that pairing, I think their styles worked really well together.

Absolutely. Batista was always in Evolution from the jump but he got hurt twice within the first month of the stable and the latter injury kept him out for like 8 months.

Jindrak was going to be his replacement since the recovery was taking so long, but you really couldn’t have had Batista’s run to the top without him being in Evolution. They would’ve had to immediately have Batista heave Jindrak out again or it would’ve been a 5-man group, which wouldn’t have fit with the stable being a spiritual successor to the Horsemen.

William Regal's appearance on Talk Is Jericho is a tough listen. He, pretty much unprompted, explains all the health issues he went through in recent years, including, but not limited to: open heart surgery, being given days to live, almost losing a leg, fracturing his eye socket, and discovering that he had been wrestling with a broken neck since 1993.

He gets openly emotional and cries at a couple of points but, in a typically Regal way, it's not really when discussing his health, but when talking about how proud he was of Bryan Danielson carrying him to a good match when he was injured, and how proud the wrestlers in the first WWE UK tournament made him feel by showing up looking like "proper professionals".

I could listen to him read the phone book, so I'm glad they're doing a second part at some point. To his credit, Jericho rarely interjects either, he just lets Regal talk.

One of the very best I’ve listened to. Can’t wait for part 2. It really explains why he was so “defensive” of WWE when they let him go as they paid for a lot of the medical stuff he needed.

Tajiri has gotta be up there on the list of the rasslers with the best facial expressions.... along with his his friend/enemy William Regal

Shit like this is just stupid. Orton, Riddle and Rey totally count as top babyfaces. Just because they have a tag team partner doesn’t disqualify them from that. Also, Brock technically counts as being on the roster for all intents and purposes. Then you’ve also got the female babyfaces. Just so fucking stupid.

I don’t think there was a plan for RK-Bro to last this long but it caught on so they’re rolling with it for now but they could very easily pull either/both guys over to the singles ranks if they wanted to. It would pull a good portion of the tag division apart but that’s pretty standard. They’ve done a good job of putting a spotlight on Alpha Academy to support there but could do with trying elevate some other teams around them but tag wrestling is rarely a priority.

They’ve also got Owens, Rollins, even Lashley they can turn at some point. I’d hold off the first 2 as they’ve not longed turned in Owens case, and Rollins last face run might stil leave a bad taste in the mouth for now.

And it’s obvious why they’ve moved Edge and Priest across to the heel side…
