Seth Rollins will bring them in after Ambrose and Reigns break up
|
Ambrose is looking at the wannabe like what the fuck?
|
That's the best thing about it.

- Former WCW star El Dandy will have his retirement match on April 27th at Arena Lopez Mateos in Tlalnepantla, Mexico for the Chilango Mask promotion. Dandy will face his biggest career rival, El Satanico. The two have done a few farewell tour singles matches against each other the past few months. |
I doubt El Dandy is going to retire.
|
Who are you to doubt El Dandy's retirement?

Anyone listen to regal on Austin's podcast?
Austin asked regal about savage vs steamboat and they had an awkward talk about how they can't appreciate the match after hearing a story from steamboat. What's that all about? |
I have a coworker who used to be a rasslin fan back in the Attitude Era.... and I kind of got him back into it. He started watching again a few weeks before the Elimination Chamber.
So far, he says he is liking what he is seeing. He likes Daniel Bryan, The Shield, The Wyatts..... and he can't stop going on about Cesaro. Like every time he is like "That Cesaro man...." |
That Cesaro is a man's man
|
|
I saw that on the Network today :D

Savage used to plan the shit out of a lot of his matches and it worked, pretty nonsensical for them to "complain" about it
|
It makes perfect sense for them as wrestlers admiring another wrestler's work.
|
it's almost tantamount to taking something away from the "say what again" scene in Pulp Fiction because they probably discussed how to make it the best they possibly could beforehand. Plenty of guys pride themselves on being able to "go out there with just the finish and nothing else" and that's just lovely but as long as everything turns up roses, it's a daft "complaint" to make
|
If WWE wants to get buzz and promote Guardians of the Galaxy, i want to see Torrito vs. Rocket Raccoon.
|
They're not saying it's a shit match, but funnily enough William Regal and Steve Austin are men who know a bit about wrestling so they have particular standards. Learning that the match was pre-planned takes something away from what they thought the match actually was. Or maybe William Regal is a whiny smark and doesn't know what he's talking about, I dunno.
|
Oi TheRogerererer!!! How dare you fucking besmerch the good name of William Regal?.

Listening to Austin's Podcast with Lillian Garcia. She's been through a lot of shit, and one of Austin's drinking buddies I guess. Didn't know that one.

You said that it was nonsense for them to downgrade the match because it was pre-planned. As wrestlers, finding out a match was pre-planned makes it less remarkable an achievement because they previously thought it was called. Absolutely nothing nonsense about that, you could apply that to just about any school of reviewing your peers. |
Thanks WWE Network for letting me make this.
http://i.imgur.com/KNF6YDA.gif Lock Jaw is a terrible driver. |
Take it as a knock on Savage and Steamboat, or just take it as my unsolicited $0.02, but I've worked with guys before who plan out their matches move for move, and it is ridiculously frustrating, and certainly leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth after working with that person. Especially once you get out there and start forgetting things and everything goes to shit. Once you deviate from "the script" they start losing their cool.
At the end of the day, a good match is a good match though, whether it's rehearsed move-for-move or done on the fly. |
I can actually see both sides of it. On one hand, from a fan's perspective, I can see that a good match is a good match is a good match. So we can get away with saying how daft Regal is.
On the other hand, they're not looking at it from a fan's perspective. They are looking at it from a performer's perspective. Some folks like doing the pre-planning. Others like to improvise and wear the improvisation as a badge of honor. On their end, it's kind of like finding out that there was a great deal of overdubbing on Kiss Alive. It's not like one perspective is better than another, it's just a different perspective. |
