Regal was always one of my personal favourites as an authority figure. Also, it is no coincidence that all the best authority figures are heels. In life everyone wants to get one over their evil boss, so a wrestler getting the better of a heel boss appeals to everyone, most obviously seen during the Austin v Mcmahon saga.

Although actually when I was younger I did quite enjoy Foley, but that was more for his backstage antics with Edge & Christian.

I had a dream last night about The Rock coming back to Raw. He appeared in the ring wearing black sweat pants and a loose black sweat shirt. He wore a black tank underneath. He looked noticeably smaller and appeared shorter than he used to be. Also he had a 2 inch afro. He began his normal way of talking and did a promo but the crowd was not having it. He was getting heat from the crowd and for the first time The Rock was stumbling and couldn't do much. I felt bad to see him like that.

Just watched a documentary on backyard wrestling. Called The Back Yard. Listening to "The Lizard" talk for half the movie is what made it amazing. He is 2 fries short of a happy meal for sure.

I honestly don't think The Rock wants shit to do with wrestling anymore. Of course he's not going to say that in an interview, but if he really wanted to do something he could have. Look at Austin, after he left. He came back to do special guest referee shit, beer drinking contests, and skits.

If The Rock wants to be viewed as a legit actor and A list Hollywood star, it's better for his image if he left wrestling in the past and moved on so I doubt he's the GM.

In my opinion it will probably be Vince. They'll make up some shitty story like the only way he could communicate was via email because of organ damage from Nexus or something.

Since that night he put Sheamus on the throne, I've always sort of thought of this anonymous GM as Triple H. I don't think we'll get GM Trips for long once he does make his return, but I just feel that will be the reveal. Triple H comes out to a monster pop, reveals himself to Sheamus, denounces his position as GM, and THEN we get a Michael Cole or Abraham Washington taking over.

I'd have to guess it would be HHH as well. With this kind of lead in, it shouldn't be an Abraham Washington (people may not remember him), and I highly doubt that the WWE have someone ridiculous up their sleeve (Rock). The only guy whose feasible and would provide an "Oh Shit" moment would be HHH, and it would make perfect sense in the context of Sheamus and other heels hating on the GM.

HHH makes sense and would connect with Nexus and the whole idea of their "higher purpose" although they've lost steam. HHH using them to take out Vince and gain power would work. The GM seems to have heel tendencies too.

So far they've all been held around here, yeah. Either Rahway (which is like 10 minutes from me, where it was Saturday) or Union City (a little farther, probably a 20 minute drive).

I'm pretty much willing to go as far as Philly to see EVOLVE at this point (two hour drive). They'll probably run the Arena eventually.
