In exclusive news you will only find here at WWENetworkNews.com, we can reveal that an upcoming collection for May will focus on Smackdown! This is very apropos, as the WWE have recently been attempting to make Smackdown matter more, and of course we have seen a ton of Smackdown episodes hitting the service in recent weeks.
This collection is expected to drop early on Monday and it will feature ten classic episodes from the 150+ hours of Smackdown added in the past few weeks ...
Also essentially confirmed as a result of this is that the final missing Smackdown episodes will likely be added in the coming days leading up to Monday, meaning that every Smackdown episode from 1999 until March 11th, 2004 will be available.

If you are one of the very few people still wondering why TNA is so damaged as a brand, watch PWR host Dameon Nelson and David Herro talk about TNA’s problems on the Pro Wrestling Report. Herro is the founder of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling and he has a ton of contacts in the wrestling business ...
Another interesting tidbit from the show came at the 11:35 mark. Apparently, Bobby Roode and Eric Young left the company because of issues with pay. Herro said, “Bobby Roode and Eric Young left because they were owed a combined six-figures."

http://wrestlingnews.co/report-bobby...d-six-figures/ Another side to the story from the Observer is that both guys weren't owed money when both left TNA but money was a big reason. Roode didn't like TNA being late with payments while Young didn't like his request for a raise being denied.

Paul Heyman has started filming a reality show in New York … and it’s based on the “ingeniously dysfunctional” way that Brock Lesnar‘s advocate run his advertising agency.
The Wrap reports that the unscripted series doesn’t have a name quite yet, but will feature Heyman and Emmy-Award winner Mitchell K. Stuart working with Paul’s marketing team to create campaigns.
“It’s a day in the life of the Looking4Larry agency and all of the many problems that we are forced to solve,” Heyman explains. “It’s the juggling act.”
The show reportedly has interest from Lionsgate and a few British television stations, but hasn’t officially landed a network home just yet.
Eat. Sleep. Film Reality TV. Repeat.

Thursday’s WWE Smackdown averaged 2.109 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.431 million count from last week.

For some comparisons, this week was around 100k higher than the record low Smackdown did during the SyFy era.

Word going around this week’s WWE TV tapings was that Seth Rollins is expected to be backstage for Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view in Chicago, but he’s not expected to appear live in front of the crowd. Rollins could be brought in to discuss plans for his return.

On a related note, WWE officials have discussed bringing back a War Games type of match for SummerSlam or Survivor Series, depending on how the storylines work out and when certain stars return from injury.
There’s been talk of doing some form of The Shield vs. some form of The Bullet Club. It was noted by a source that they likely won’t call it War Games but that type of match is the working idea.

Recently on You're Welcome With Chael Sonnen, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin shared some of his thoughts on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.
According to Austin, Reigns is not getting over because of the way he is booked.
"Roman is having a hard time winning the crowd over just because of the way he's booked. When you sit there, good looking guy, a lot of charisma, [and] easygoing the times I've talked to him. He's one of the nicest guys in the locker room and well spoken and smart and doesn't need anybody writing convoluted promos for him, so I just think many people consider him [to be] entitled because of his looks and that [has] actually worked against him, so the kid is in between a rock and a hard place, no pun intended that he's related to The Rock."
In Austin's view, Reigns should be allowed to have more creative freedom and the crowd should decide whether Reigns should be a babyface or a heel.
"If this is the Reality Era, let the kid go out there and shoot and let the chips fall where they may." Austin added, "let the kid have some freedom. Let the kid go out there and express himself. Let him go out there and experiment. All he can do is fall down and trip and then get back up if he does and take another shot at it."
Despite his preference to see Reigns get more creative freedom, 'The Texas Rattlesnake' claimed that WWE will continue to push Reigns as a traditional babyface. With that said, Austin claimed that Reigns will never be a traditional babyface.
"Vince [McMahon] is going to still try to do the tried and true formula, a traditional babyface push, but this kid is not going to be a traditional babyface because, just going back to politics, people don't want to be told what to like, why to like him, here's why you should like him, and, damn it, like him!"
The professional wrestling great also claimed that Reigns should ditch his current ring gear.
"He's covered up in so much black clothing. He [has] got that long black hair. Half the time, it's in his face. Lose the top. Dude, I had a drum half the time I wrestled, but I was mega over. It wasn't about my physique. This kid [has] got twice the physique, ten times the physique I ever dreamed of having. And just let him go out there and be himself. I think the padding is just too much. The appearance, it worked okay for a little bit and now as a babyface, not so much."
