According to the Observer, early numbers for Revolution's PPV buys are up compared to Full Gear at least in regards to B/R Live and FITE.

B/R buys went up by around 10%. If that gain is from new B/R Live subscribers then TNT is going to be happy since that was one of their expectations for AEW.

Overall number is currently not known but probably going to still be lower than Full Gear due to UK market issues.

Not that I really *cared*, but if I had watched the Royal Rumble live and was invested, Orton winning that would have shocked the shit out of me. Felt like it came out of nowhere. I thought the pairing of Orton and Wyatt was actually pretty good. Randy finally found someone to “let him out to play” so to speak. It could have “evolved” him a bit. They should have kept it going a bit. Really rushed to the Wyatt match.

I almost feel like Matt Hardy as the Exalted One would be TOO obvious at this point. Like I could still see Matt working with AEW, possibly working in multiple promotions trying to get the Broken stuff going again, but I don't know if he's the Exalted One.

Brodie Lee/Luke Harper as the Exalted One, however, would be great. I like the unintentional backstory that he graduated from being in a cult to running his own cult.

Watching AEW Dark and Abadon is making her debut. Looks like she's right out of a horror movie.

According to the Observer, AEW's current plans for their Blood & Guts War Games style match is to delay it till their July 22nd show in Newark, New Jersey.

The match and show itself was originally planned for March 25th but that got put on hold after the venue postponed all events there for the rest of this month.

There was some speculation AEW would keep their current plans intact and run the match in an empty arena or potentially elsewhere but it makes sense to still keep it as the big attraction for their Newark show later in the year.

Double or Nothing is (partially) cancelled. Fans can get refunds or have their tickets pushed out to 2021 which will also be in Vegas.

The show is still happening in some form and will be on BR Live and PPV as usual.

Really don't want all the talent being made to fly somewhere to be under one roof. They might not be - it doesn't say the show is live so possibly people will be brought in in smaller groups to film their match and then leave. Or they'll allow talents to film close to home (like the Bucks having matches at their own ring). But even still, it will be awkward and I don't think asking people to drop $50 on an empty arena show is a great message.

Love AEW but it's absolutely fair to criticize them for still running a show, especially with WWE being criticized for the same thing.

As far as Dynamite goes at least they filmed all of their shit a few weeks ago, they taped enough content to get them through May while primarily using talent that were within driving distance in Georgia and Florida. They're not making talent travel in every week like WWE are doing.

But a lot has changed between that last round of tapings and now. Even if they were taping a month or two worth of shows, I'm against making anyone travel again anytime soon.

The best thing for AEW would be to strike up deals with promotions they're on good terms with - PWG, DDT, AAA, Gatoh Move, whoever else - about securing some archive footage to flesh out an existing program. AEW itself is too new to do much in the way of diving into the "vault", but using older footage to pad out empty arena matches, promos and vignettes wouldn't be the worst way to continue to produce TV.

Problem is, networks have paid for original content, not archive footage. AEW and WWE almost certainly get a pass for this due to the unprecedented shit going on...but they're not willing to push back.

Yeah they should just cancel or delay it since Mania proved how important having an actual crowd around is for major events, especially for something being charged regular PPV price.

Plus even though they taped enough shows till mid-May, plans for that show is still going to be a mess to pull off due to various issues.

AEW to resume tapings in Jacksonville in May 6th.

Somehow, ROH have come out of all of this looking like the moral compass of professional wrestling since they’ve completely stopped taping new shows despite having a TV deal.

I'm actually going to give ROH a view or two when this all clears up because of them being responsible during this time.

Yeah, it would be one thing if they did another mass set of tapings and the took another 1-2 month break but seems they are going to follow WWE's new plan for tapings instead.

Besides ROH, I'd add NJPW as well since both were among the first ones to stop holding shows and stay shut down during these times.
