God damn it that loss will make it harder for the Cowboys to win the division.

Such a stupid argument. Oncologists get paid thousands of dollars to cure cancer: doesn't mean that a few tumors don't slip away from them sometimes. If every player who got paid millions of dollars made no mistakes then every team in the NFL would be 0-0-16.

agree to this, but i still say that mistake was mostly Roy's fault. But receivers are very prone to those plays because during the game, with all of the catching they do, their hands aren't as strong so the ball may come out.

James Steele 11-26-2010 11:54 PM

There is a fucking difference between trying to cure a disease and holding onto a fucking football when you are running toward the endzone and making a huge comeback in a game. Don't give him a fucking cop-out because a son of a bitch wanted the ball more than him.

Kris P Lettus 11-27-2010 12:16 AM

Don't call Malcolm Jenkins a "son of a bitch", you son of a bitch..

James Steele 11-27-2010 12:20 AM

Malcolm Jenkins wants to earn his fucking paycheck. Roy Williams is happy just being a fucking name on a jersey and not a player in a jersey.

I was at the game. Any other Saints fans have heart attacks?

Probably, but not because of the game. Coonasses will deep fry anything! That is why I approve of them bringing their culinary traditions to The Great State & Former Republic of Texas.

Kris P Lettus 11-27-2010 11:34 AM

I was kinda freking out in the second half..

Broncos under investigation for taping 49ers practice

Posted by Mike Florio on November 27, 2010, 9:54 AM EST
The bad news is that the Denver Broncos are being investigated for videotaping a 49ers practice last month in London. The worse news is that the Broncos still lost the game.

Jeff Legwold and Dave Kreiger of the Denver Post report that the league is looking into whether the Broncos recorded a San Fran walk-through practice at Wembley Stadium on October 30, the day before the two teams played there. On the 30th, each team had access to the venue for the session aimed at reviewing key portions of the game plan.

Per the Post, Broncos COO Joe Ellis confirmed that Broncos director of video operations Steve Scarnecchia is on a “personal leave of absence” as the NFL and the team investigate the situation.

McDaniels was employed by the Patriots during the infamous Spygate scandal, which arose from the videotaping of in-game defensive coaching signals. Scarnecchia left after the 2004 season, and he became the Jets’ director of video operations under coach Eric Mangini in 2006. Both McDaniels and Scarnecchia arrived in New England in 2001.

On the eve of Super Bowl XLII, the Boston Herald reported that the Patriots had videotaped the Rams’ walk-through practice prior to Super Bowl XXXVI. The Herald later retracted the report via a front-page apology.

Though it appears that Scarnecchia is being positioned to take the fall (assuming there’s a fall to take), we can’t imagine the head coach coming out of this one unscathed, if the allegations are substantiated.

Well, now I don't know...

Quote:

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Broncos and head coach Josh McDaniels have both been fined $50,000 for illegally taping an opponent's practice.
The Broncos were under investigation by the NFL for taping a 49ers walk-through in Week 8. Team video director Steve Scarnecchia reportedly took the video and presented it to McDaniels, who declined to view it. Team officials were made aware of the incident following the team's return from London, and self reported it to the NFL. Scarnecchia has been terminated from his position and will face a possible life-time ban from the NFL. We question that Scarnecchia was working without orders from McDaniels, unless taping was something Scarnecchia had been doing all year long. The whole situation is fishy.

Basically this is a chart that shows ever team i nthe NFL has beat the team to their left. Following the logic that if you be the team to your left, and they beat the one to their left, so on and so on, the teams are all even.

Its not true, but cool none the less that it worked out this way!

Hanso Amore 11-28-2010 10:16 AM

Also, this proves the bills are the best team in the NFL

You aren't allowed to kick a loose ball. If a running back fumbles a ball and then kicks it, does it suddenly become a punt? What a stupid play. The play should have been dead as soon as it got kicked. The ref didn't even say what the consequence would have been if it was accepted. But the stupid ass Saints got the ball at their own 15 or something. What a fucking piece of shit play that was.

I thought the NFL had the same "free kick" rule that exists in the CFL that says that it it perfectly legal for anyone on the offense to kick the ball any time they want - not that any running back headed toward the end zone would actually DO it.

I also still think that there needs to be a change to how penalties are enforced on kickoffs. NE kicking off from the DET 40 because of 2 penalties basically guarantees that Detroit gets the ball on their 20 after a touchback. Most single 15-yard penalties are enough to do that in today's NFL.

If you really want to penalize the team, back them up on the next play from scrimmage - if the infracting team manages to run back the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, give the other team an extra X yards forward from their kickoff return. EX: DET gets a 15-yard penalty on a touchdown. NE kicks off from the normal spot. DET returns the kickoff for a touchdown, then kicks off from their normal spot. NE returns that to their own 23. The penalty is finally enforced and NE starts their drive on their 38.

Droford 11-28-2010 12:31 PM

If you penalize so that its almost a sure touchback via completely out of the endzone, then the recieving team loses return yardage they might have gotten if the kick hadnt gone out of the endzone, since they could still return a kick that was fielded in the end zone (however ill advised that might be of course).
