Yes. That was the step I missed off the end.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2022 06:06 PM

I don’t see them releasing too many women, but Nikki Ash is in her “heel Eugene” stage of her gimmick. And Doudrop had her chance and it kind of sucked.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 08:31 PM

Oh snap they brought back the interview platform from the early 90s

This Sports Entertains me

Needs more Mean Gene (RIP)

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 08:39 PM

If Austin Theory kicks a basketball out of a young black child’s hands then I am all in.

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-09-2022 08:46 PM

How do you think The Million Dollar Corporation--the preeminent heel stable of the New Generation--would fair on current RAW. I feel like their win percentage of 0.000006% would improve.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 08:59 PM

A stable with 5 WWE Hall of Famers, plus Sid, Bam Bam Bigelow, and King Kong Bundy.

Sounds like a jobber stable to me

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-09-2022 09:01 PM

We should watch Bundy versus Taker on the Watchalong so we can all feel better about the worst things we've ever done professionally.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 09:01 PM

Also how the funkasaurus are Sid, Bam Bam, and Bundy not Hall of Famers

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-09-2022 09:06 PM

Sid would no-show his own induction.

#1-norm-fan 05-09-2022 09:13 PM

Not necessarily. HOF induction ceremony is usually late March/early April.

<a href="https://ibb.co/PYkJhvb"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/VN6bSch/6-C4-D0-A9-A-2-E9-D-4888-816-B-C24-E62-DD4888.jpg" alt="6-C4-D0-A9-A-2-E9-D-4888-816-B-C24-E62-DD4888" border="0"></a><br /><a target='_blank' href='https://imgbb.com/'></a><br />

Oh, never mind.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 09:24 PM

Sid, Bam Bam, and Bundy all main evented a Wrestlemania. I wonder how many retired wrestlers who main evented a Wrestlemania are not in the Hall of Fame.

xrodmuc316 05-09-2022 09:24 PM

Alexa Bliss, so hot

Looks like it’s just those 3, Lawrence Taylor, and Chris Benoit.

Elite company, no doubt.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2022 09:32 PM

Sid main evented multiple Wrestlemanias!

Oh, never mind.

Even if it started later, he needs to go into training camp in peak physical condition.

I almost wanna say this WWE HOF is less than legit.

ALMOST

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-10-2022 07:27 AM

RAW weekly thread peaked in a conversation about the Million Dollar Corporation. Enough said.

So your actual issue is that the WWE HOF is not legitimate enough for you?

#1-norm-fan 05-10-2022 12:32 PM

Yes

Interesting.

You wanna write about it?

#1-norm-fan 05-10-2022 12:39 PM

Sure

Great!!! Take your time, gather your thoughts, and explain all the reasons you feel the WWE HOF is not legitimate enough for your liking.

#1-norm-fan 05-10-2022 12:48 PM

Excellent idea. Opening arguments coming soon!

Evil Vito 05-10-2022 12:51 PM

Lol didn’t even realize that Raw was in Hartford. Glad I didn’t go. Sounds like I would’ve been bored to tears.

XL 05-10-2022 06:06 PM

Just read an article that after 4 weeks of vignettes on SmackDown, Lacey Evans is going to re-debut on Raw. As a heel. :wtf:

Supreme Olajuwon 05-16-2022 08:17 PM

Starting the show with Bobbles and Omos in a steel cage match

That’s pretty sports entertaining

Evil Vito 05-17-2022 09:59 AM

Lol they had a "Countdown to Cody" graphic literally counting down the hours and minutes to his segment.

I'm happy the guy is getting to enjoy the star babyface reactions he's wanted for well over a year now. But if his presentation remains this way I'd guess he starts hearing boos again within 2 months once he's viewed as being "shoved down our throats".

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-17-2022 10:01 AM

Wrestling struggles so much with striking the right chord. AEW included, as per Cody's reactions there.

I get that because wrestling's roots are in pantomime, subtlety has never been a strength. But my god. Maybe learn some subtlety. That goes for promoters and wrestlers alike.

XL 05-17-2022 11:08 AM

Yes! That got a little chuckle out of me every time it popped up. I can think of a couple of people that would (rightly) be giving AEW shit for that if they’d have done something similar. It’s very heel-like shenanigans like a RNN update or something similar.

drave 05-24-2022 07:51 AM

So RAW was on last night I guess???

Sepholio 05-24-2022 07:56 AM

Yeah we have a thread over at SPWW. 73 pages last night.

drave 05-24-2022 08:20 AM

I never got the invite :(

Will stay here with the dumbs :(

Evil Vito 05-24-2022 08:38 AM

Raw had everything: intriguing stories paying off, captivating characters, strong, believable promos, shocking heel turns, exciting cliffhangers, new stars rising up the card in an organic and realistic way.

Wait, sorry, I was watching a Raw from 2000 on Peacock.

drave 05-24-2022 08:47 AM

I caught the replay of the Lynch v Asuka match but was confused.

The replay showed Asuka roll into the ring to beat the 10 count, and then lying there to take the pin.

XL 05-24-2022 06:11 PM

That’s exactly what happened. Why are you confused?

Tbf, shit actually happened on SmackDown (Tag Titles unified, LA Knight debuting as Max Dupri, Los Lotahrios seemingly joining the womens division) and that also received 0 posts.
