Saw a report that AEW may look to move the date for Full Gear a little bit. Tony doesn't like running head to head against boxing or MMA apparently and Full Gear will be going against a boxing PPV and a pretty good UFC card from MSG at the same time.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither Vince nor Bruce Prichard will as heavy handed in the weekly booking of NXT as they are for RAW and SmackDown.

Not due to any recent backlash or any other reasons besides just a simple lack of free time available to be that hands-on with NXT on a weekly basis. Supposedly that was stated in a recent talent and staff meeting in NXT over the upcoming big changes.

Meltzer also reported that even without Vince being very hands-on with NXT, its still going to be pushed heavy in the direction of his new vision for it in regards to who gets big pushes and the makeup of the roster going forward.

Apparently WWE's Twitch and third party services ban might have actually cost them the chance to keep Adam Cole.

According to Fightful, Cole wasn't willing to drop his Twitch channel because of Vince's ban and made it a non-negotiable term for any new deal with WWE. That made it a lot harder for WWE to have any leverage over it during talks since that would have opened a big can of worms had they caved into Cole's demands.

Such a stupid reason to lose a guy over, especially a guy they spent years building up.

Real Canadian Wrestling has apparently signed David Benoit. He appeared for them the other night and they have said he will be wrasslin for them in the future.

Why does WWE employ so many writers? Does Vince have some kind of contractual obligation with the Writer's Guild for the non wrestling errr sports entertainment part of the business (movies, reality tv) ?

Sort of looks like a bigger or expanded setup WWE used for RAW & SD at the Performance Center early into the pandemic. The one NXT was using these past few months was basically a cramped version of the ThunderDome that just made the venue look even smaller than before.

Could see that replacing the ThunderDome if WWE has to go back to closed sets or being stuck at the PC again depending on how the coronavirus pandemic is this winter. If there was one big advantage AEW had over WWE during the pandemic era was them having their own big venue to hold shows and not having to be at the mercy of being stuck in a small gym or get kicked out of their residency due to sports.

Pretty sure when they started giving 5 year contracts instead of 3, they also included 3 year outs. Not sure if it a mutual option. Might be WWE had to exercise the option within a certain time or the out kicks in.

Might explain why even Adam Cole didnt know his contract was up sooner than he thought. That could certainly be something that got lost track of once Carrano waa fired.
