To buy the 1st full costume pack, it cost about as much as the game itself. Now, with this 2nd pack, we'd be spending twice the games RRP on costumes.

Wonder how much characters will cost us.

I don't understand why people complain about the price ofncostune packs. It's not goingto change the gameplay, it's just an aesthetic and if you don't like the price nothing will happen if you don't pay it.

That's just it though. The value doesn't match the price tag. Why make them so costly when it's not that big a thing we're getting?

For 320msp I can get 2 songs off the Rockband store and 4 off the Network. Far more value for the same price.

Right, get RB songs while Capcom maximise profits from chumps who will pay that for costumes.

This would all be ok if they offered each costume individually, but they have to be bastards about it.

Looks like Capcom is going to produce character pack DLC for Super Street Fighter IV and this time it is not costumes. Capcom is planning for the DLC to take everything extra the arcade version got and sell it as DLC for console owners.

The suggestion for extra DLC came from the US branch of Capcom seeing as how arcades are less popular here so the majority of SF console owners won't have access to the arcade version.

Color me not surprised. I'd go as far as to say Ono's kayfabe 'struggle' to get Capcom USA to deliver the update was a PR series of events and tweets. This is why I think Darkstalkers was greenlit a long time ago.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious we're getting the DLC already. If Capcom takes the opportunity to charge us for extra costumes that are already on the disc, there is no way they'd pass up the chance to charge even more for additional characters.
I just want them to stop playing around and confirm all and any other characters being add to the AE/DLC all at the same time. None of this revealing 2 characters one month and then another 2 next month stuff.

I've been thinking for a while that it would be cool to have a DLC pack of new stages based on each characters SFII stage (or whatever their trademark stage is if the debuted after SFII) but the background would be in 3D like SSFIV stages. We already have the redone theme tunes that are rarely used, we may as well have stages to play them on.

I've never gotten into Darkstalkers. I've played it and everything but it just doesn't seem to do anything for me.

I'm pretty much waiting for this new Darkstalkers to drop since I missed out in the 90s. Probably played the arcade game a few times altogether.

I have the collection on the PSP, but fighting on handhelds never feels right, IMO.

Starting to use chun li now. Last series of matches with funky, I won more than I lost with her. Might give up on makoto and work with her, and maybe cammy too.

To nobody's surprise, more characters will join Yun and Yang. To some surprise, Rolento will not be one of them. This adjusts long standing rumors so we'll have to wait and see.

I mean, there's not too many characters left to choose from. SSF4 nearly has all the relevant characters from the series. Wonder if they'll dig into Street Fighter 1's roster, or Rival Schools...

The EX series characters have legal disputes that makes them mostly off limits to Capcom anyway.

I heard about this the other day but I also read we wont be getting anyone from SFI. That means it's either someone from Alpha or SFIII.

We know it's not Rolento, Elena and R.Mika. People seem to think it will be Hugo, Alex, Karin and/or Charlie.

I don't want Karin or Charlie. Hugo and Alex, I don't mind because I've never played as either of them. I'd rather have Sodom, myself. Played as him in one of the Alpha games and had fun with him then. I imagine I'd be able to get a proper grip with him now that I've found my groove.

I would love to see Q aswell. I've wanted him since they said they may add new characters. I've never played SFIII but Q just seems like such an interesting character. Plus his theme music is cool.

If they put Twelve in there, Ono will officially be the biggest troll in the history of video games.

I feel like it will be Alex and Hugo. Though I'd prefer Elena.

The only dog in the race I have is Karin, anybody else is whatever. We should note that at least a partial model of Hugo exists within SSF4 right now, take that as you will. Also, there's a strong Final Fight presence in the game so far (2 characters, Metro City, many references...).

Got my eye on Alex.... everyone else is bleh...
