I read the mention on wrestling inc... I haven't heard anything at all about a new company coming up. But PWG did return last night to a sold out crowd, Super Dragon returned as well as Malakai Black. I read someone say that you will soon be able to see PWG shows much easier, but not live. So perhaps they will launch some kind of streaming service for their content. It's well known that PWG has always made money due to strong DVD sales, and a streaming on demand service in theory could be a big deal for them, provided they can work out a way to still use contracted wrestlers from ROH and other places where contracts could be prohibitive.

What's lower quality??? I mean, every ring I've ever put together was fucking wood and steel. MAYBE some promoters would put an extra layer of padding on top of the wood, prior to the canvas, but that's it.


Personally, I found 18x18 to be the most comfortable. 16x16 seems very small and 20x20 is alright.... but weird to get used to.

Another report that a big WWE name has asked for their release. People at the f4wonline forum speculate names like Paige and even Randy Orton, I believe the rumor is that it's not a full time worker.

Also remember recently there was a report that Lesnar had a deal with someone who wasn't WWE, AEW, Bellator or UFC. It was very vague. Leads me to think even more about perhaps another big time company trying to enter the fray. Clearly there is enough talent out there right now for another big time company to do something. You'd think that ROH with a big money company owning them or Impact in a similar situation could take the leap forward and try to really do something. I can't really see Impact more than low card cast off's but we shall see.

Good. Maybe Lesnar can take his "lazy working style" elsewhere. It was cool to see him back the last run, but became very stale very quick. Very much "phoned it in" and it showed.

Also, I've read Meltzer has said Lesnar isn't in negotiations currently with WWE, AEW, Bellator, UFC or Triller. He didn't say anything about the report I had mentioned earlier but if I'm not mistaken it was one of the that works for his site that made the report that Lesnar was signed with somebody. But like I said it was very vague. To the point of he could've just signed another deal with Jimmy John's or something.

You're not wrong, but lesnar had his best matches, and really tried with aj styles, finn balor, Seth Rollins, and Daniel bryan. He seems to actually enjoy working with smaller guys who work that style. And AEW is full of guys like that.

I’m starting to think the Wednesday night war was only about AEW pulling NXT’s audience. AEW has done very well since having the night to themselves while nxt doesn’t seem to have gained any ground at all.

Being fair to all parties involved, the worst mistake WWE made there was dragging NXT onto a TV network specifically to counterprogram (read: fuck with) AEW, and in doing so, also fucking with their own formula of why NXT pretty much had its own rabid fanbase. They were doing fine as an island unto themselves without Vince's fingerprints on the deal.

So true. Though I stopped watching NXT way before that, it was around then that I stopped watching takeover as well.

I stopped watching because while the in ring performances and storylines were mostly ace, I couldn’t keep wasting my time investing in these guys only to see them do fuck am on the main roster. It became obvious I was wasting my time having favorites only to see them pathetically mismanaged and miscast on the main roster
