I could be wrong though.

Supreme Olajuwon 07-27-2013 12:01 AM

We have fun here

Supreme Olajuwon 07-27-2013 12:02 AM

Either way, was not meant to be "a burn"

Was more meant to be "a rib"

Shisen Kopf 07-27-2013 12:05 AM

I think it was both

Supreme Olajuwon 07-27-2013 12:06 AM

Reds are getting Kershawed right meow.

Still 0-0 though.

road doggy dogg 07-27-2013 12:08 AM

It's not getting Kershawed unless he hits the go-ahead homer to go with it.

<font color=goldenrod>Phillies sign Cuban pitcher Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez to a 6 year, $48 million deal.

AKA the pitcher even Ned Colletti said "whoa, not worth it."</font>

Love how Keith is MIA for two months or so only to come back and gloat on the day the Rays take first place.

Bad News Gertner 07-27-2013 04:36 PM

Josh Johnson is a bitch

Frank Drebin 07-27-2013 11:25 PM

Yanks fans: Cashman was right.

OssMan 07-28-2013 02:03 AM

Intrigued by MLB Network's "Live Look In" setup where they show the game with their own scoreboard and the radio announcers talking... interesting

OssMan 07-28-2013 02:05 AM

Baseball thread is good, way better than dreadful NFL thread, just want to say... thanks

RoXer 07-28-2013 02:11 AM

We know dude. NFL thread is the worst.

Rays fans only present themselves when the team is playing well.

Skippord 07-28-2013 02:18 AM

you guys don't want to post in a thread with JamesSteele and Savior arguing whether Joe Flacco is better than Tony Romo or not?

OssMan 07-28-2013 02:21 AM

thank you,,,the fans

The Condor 07-28-2013 11:29 AM

Last two innings of Cubs-Giants= hilarity.

Innovator 07-28-2013 02:28 PM

Well, the Phillies have at least scored today #optimism

Evil Vito 07-28-2013 04:15 PM

<font color=goldenrod>The ump in the Tigers/Phillies game has to get a fine or something. I know they can technically eject anybody for any reason, but throwing out the best hitter in baseball for calmly questioning a called strike is ridiculous.</font>

The Condor 07-28-2013 04:38 PM

Must have "showed him up" in some sort of fashion. Umps are very fragile

Not a moment to soon.

ClockShot 07-28-2013 08:04 PM

Damn, totally forgot HazMat retired as a Yankee today.

Never heard that before. Is that your own nickname for him or is that widely used by Yankees fans?

ClockShot 07-28-2013 09:00 PM

Oh yeah. That's been been Matsui's other nickname give to him by Yankee fans. The one you probably hear the most is Godzilla, right?

Yep. In all those years I never heard Hazmat.

road doggy dogg 07-28-2013 10:51 PM

God I really hope my waiver claim for Soriano goes through in my AL-only league.

road doggy dogg 07-28-2013 10:54 PM

I didn't catch the Tigers game today but heard the Cabrera ejection was pretty weaksauce. WHATEVS tho pounded the Phillies and it's good for Cabrera to get some extra time to rest his back anyway I guess.

Bad News Gertner 07-28-2013 11:25 PM

Colby Rasmus is a joy to watch.

Lol friggen Rajah Davis had 4 stolen bases tonight. Would really rather him start in left over Melky.

Skippord 07-28-2013 11:41 PM

Corey Dickerson hit his first Major League home run this afternoon

DICKMANIA

It was. Leyland came out and got in his face and got tossed too. Crazy thing is Jim's only been thrown out twice from games this season, and both times it was by the same ump.

road doggy dogg 07-29-2013 11:56 AM

Tigers trade a prospect and player to-be-named for Veras from the Astros. Supposedly to serve in a setup role. He's cheap and has been decent for Houston. I'm tentatively excited about this, I think Benoit has earned the opportunity to keep the closer's role for now though. Not really sure about the prospect they gave up for him though.

Ermaximus 07-29-2013 12:38 PM

Beachy is off the DL and starts TONIGHT. Thank God!

Emperor Smeat 07-29-2013 03:42 PM

Phillies rumored to be trading Jonathan Papelbon both as part of their potential roster cleaning and because he hinted he wants out.

Or call up Gose.

Melky is plain awful.

Today the trade deadline?

Pretty darn quiet. Usually a trade happening every half hour today.
