James Harrison gets fined $75,000 for a helmet to helmet hit in the course of a play that was at the time considered legal, but Richard Seymour only gets fined $25,000 for a punch well after the play was over that got him ejected from the game???

Yeah, that's fair

OssMan 11-23-2010 07:42 PM

Oh boy, they both got fined pocket change

Supreme Olajuwon 11-23-2010 08:03 PM

Probably because James Harrison is a stupid faggot retard.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-23-2010 08:03 PM

That'd be my guess.

Harrison is a multiple offender so his fines are going to rise regardless if his hit was less harmful than Seymour celebrating Big Ben's touchdown with a punch.

Only reason Seymour isn't getting suspended is probably the NFL and some analysts believe Big Ben said something to instigate the punch. Seymour also apologized which might have helped his case unlike Harrison who threatened to retire or other stuff when he gets a fine.

Seymour is also a multiple time offender, having been thrown out of a game versus Cleveland less than a year ago. Ben and Seymour have both gone on the record saying that Ben said nothing beyond the standard "Yeah. Let's kick the extra point"-type remark.

I hope Harrison keeps his promise so he's not there in 2 weeks when they play the Ravens. Be a man and keep your word!

Supreme Olajuwon 11-23-2010 11:16 PM

TO calling out Revis. Says he's an average cornerback. Hey TO your team is 2-8. Shut the fuck up, buddy.

Splaya 11-24-2010 01:34 PM

Whereas his team is terrible, TO is having one of his best seasons. I say let's the man talk all the shit he wants

Wide outs can only do so much to make his team win. And Revis has been pretty average this year. He let a tight end get in behind him last game, which if your the best corner with his speed that should never happen.

T.O is having a great season, especailly when you consider Palmer is his QB.

Innovator 11-24-2010 03:02 PM

Steelers vs. Eagles Superbowl, the media would implode.

Loose Cannon 11-24-2010 07:17 PM

you don't call Revis out. He can ask his pal Chad about this

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-25-2010 01:31 PM

Raper vs. Dog Fighter.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-25-2010 02:02 PM

Bengals can usually handle Edwards, but Santonio pretty much does whatever he wants. LT too. And Rex Ryan seems to know every play in the Bengals playbook. Thinking the Jets win by 4 touchdowns.

:'(Who Dey:'(

Yeah, that's fair

A helmet hurts more than a punch. It's a hard projectile weapon with a hard facemask.

It was also an attack to the face, and not to the cranium. So, it was in a safer place concussion wise. Besides it was basically just an open hand-slap by Seymour that was called a punch.

Johnny Vegas 11-25-2010 03:46 PM

lol yea, Parkmania, don't get too bent outta shape about it. If ANY thing else, maybe a suspensio with the fine, but i would agree that $75,000 for a "legal" hit at the time is pretty steep.

IC Champion 11-25-2010 03:55 PM

Not to mention Harrison can't keep his mouth shut.

IC Champion 11-25-2010 03:56 PM

And is a repeat offender, with multiple fines this season.

IC Champion 11-25-2010 03:58 PM

If Detriot could tackle they would probably win games.

Kris P Lettus 11-25-2010 05:44 PM

Lol kitna looked like he was gonna shit after that td

Kris P Lettus 11-25-2010 05:46 PM

IC Champion 11-25-2010 05:58 PM

IC Champion 11-25-2010 05:59 PM
