I assume Cena vs Kane at TLC

Maybe hoping to entice a few more PPV buys from people who might want to see more? If you're going to do something like this unannounced, might as well do it on free TV to add some intrigue to whats coming up.

I think it's so people would order the PPV to see if the returning Kane makes another appearance.

I just said that! :shifty:

Theo Dious 12-13-2011 12:16 AM

Also, I've been drinking, was that an all new theme or a rehash of his old one?

What Would Kevin Do? 12-13-2011 12:16 AM

Not a huge Kane fan, but that return was slick. I was a bit concerned with the welder's mask, but the mask underneath looked pretty slick. It was hard to tell in the red light, but it almost looked like the mask had a burnt flesh look to it.

Robodiv 12-13-2011 12:16 AM

"Yo Dawg, I heard you like masks, so I put a mask in your mask!"

It was a mix of his new theme and his old theme.

lol. Seriously worried about JR when he randomly fell backwards for the spinarooni.

Shit, I flipped back from ESPN just as he staggered back and dropped. Thought he was having a legit heart attack or something

Haha, so was I.

The Jayman 12-13-2011 12:19 AM

bah gawd!

Theo Dious 12-13-2011 12:20 AM

What that hell would you expect an old fat Oklahoman to look like while breakdancing?

Xero 12-13-2011 12:22 AM

That was pretty awesome, really. At first I was like "Christ that mask is terrible". I seriously thought "Shockmaster". But when he revealed the real mask it was amazing.

Really interested in the angle and WHY he put the mask on. Probably will be explained away as either being intimidating or having new mental issues.

Also want to know why he's coming for Cena, especially when Henry was right there. Henry, the man who took him out. The video kind of spoiled that. Maybe all the Attitude Era guys are banding together because The Rock has returned.

You KNOW that's a big reason why they did it, too. To give the Attitude Era fans something to mark about more than Rock.

Otherwise, RAW was meh. The Four Way and the angle after the tag match were pretty great. Everything else was take it or leave it.

lol, first thought I had was stroke.

Cool King 12-13-2011 12:25 AM

I agree with every single word Xero has just said in his last two posts.

You took the words right out of my mouth, as they say.

Providence Peep 12-13-2011 12:25 AM

Was 2011 the year Bret Hart came back to WWE? If so, I can't believe that didn't win any Slammy Awards.

Mr. Pierre 12-13-2011 12:27 AM

I can see Kane "thanking" Henry for helping him realizing that he was weak and needed to go back to his roots, or some bullshit like that. I don't really care why he put the mask back on, but the new look is pretty great. I thought he pulled a "Shockmaster" for a second when he did his pyro and the top mask almost flew off.

Didn't Kane tell Teddy Long that he doesn't feel like he is a monster anymore before his match against Henry where he was taken out. Him putting the mask back on could be the answer to that

Yeah I know both of those areas. Hopewell is about an hour and a half or so south of here. Roanoke is like 3 hours.

Used to pass though there on my way to VT, it's been a long time since I've been in that area though.

I do love this state, but I can certainly understand why some people wouldn't.

Nah, he returned right at the beginning of 2010.

Juan 12-13-2011 12:30 AM

I vaguely remember this. So yeah, if that's right, it makes sense.

I looked it up and it was the 7/15/11 edition of Smackdown. He was facing Orton that night

Jesus fucking shitfire man that was a FAST icon switch!

FearedSanctity 12-13-2011 12:45 AM

Jayman isn't TRENDING WORLDWIDE for no reason

Lock Jaw 12-13-2011 12:47 AM

Kane looked very EEEEEEEEVVVVIIIIIIILLLL tonight.

FourFifty has a new tattoo to get.

Xero 12-13-2011 12:49 AM

FourFifty needs three more tattoos.

The old half mask, Kane's face and the new mask.

Aguakate 12-13-2011 12:50 AM

I for one really felt we would see something like this between these two tonight, leading up to TLC. They really kinda "phoned in" this feud. Kevin Nash attacks Triple H and that was it. No more contact between the two.

Really interested in where they go with the Kane thing. Why he went for Cena and not Henry. Hopefully will get answers at Smackdown. This also may answer what Cena would be doing at TLC but surprised they waited till like the show before. When was the last PPV Cena wasn't on?

That 4-way was excellent. Those 4 have all been on their game recently.

Also Punk is god. Loved that Video with Laurinaitis lol

Lock Jaw 12-13-2011 01:00 AM

Also, looks like CM Punk did something to his chest tattoos that makes it look like he has the Measles or Chicken Pox or something.

MoFo 12-13-2011 01:01 AM

Have Cena & Kane ever feuded before?

Dont like Kane bt that was awesums, looks in great shape and not a fatty anymore.

Aguakate 12-13-2011 01:02 AM

Now Cena shows up on Smackdown, challenges Kane, and BOOM...there's Cena's match at TLC.

There's no way he doesn't wrestle on the last PPV of the year, right?

Lock Jaw 12-13-2011 01:03 AM

They might quietly move Kane over to RAW. Not that brands mean that much anymore.

They don't. RAW's a "Supershow" now, remember?
