Just finished watching this week's show after some procrastination and being busy with some stuff on the side.

The all-out warfare between Io Shirai and Raquel Gonzalez throughout the show was easily the best thing on it. Same for that being the best women's related thing all week on WWE's shows.

Show itself was all right for the go-home show for TakeOver Stand & Deliver. Maybe one of the more skippable NXT shows in recent months though in terms of interesting or important stuff that happened.

Now that NXT is on Tuesdays, its a lot more of a convenient weekly time for me to watch their shows than before.

If that's true about last week's TakeOver being their most watched TakeOver ever then those past TakeOvers on the WWE Network did much lower numbers than I used to assume.

Just found it funny based on how people would always complain whenever AEW would boast about their success and how Triple H usually shrugged off whenever he was asked questions related to it during his media calls and interviews.

That is for 2 nights. It is the most watched because Night 1 + Night 2 = Most Watched.

Just them working the numbers in a very "but muh demos" way.

Tag match was alright. MSK doesn't really stand out to me. They don't do anything that any other flippy dippy team cant do.

Guess Roderick Strong didn't "quit" NXT if he's suddenly back after two weeks away.

Him abruptly leaving during the go-home show was the whole reason why the Guantlet Eliminator match was one less person than advertised.

Mercedes Martinez vs. Jessi Kamea was nothing special even in terms of squash match status. Probably should haven't given Kamea any offense if the idea was to make Martinez as the next challenger for Raquel's belt.

Gargano's character has become way too corny these days, especially ever since he got his very own stable in NXT.

Cornette should be happy that Kushida isn't wearing jeans anymore.

KUSHIDA looks a bit goofy in his new gear.

Was wondering if NXT was going to keep the split screen ad breaks now that they don't need it anymore against AEW and it turns out they will on USA Network. RAW could really use the return of split screen for their shows since they need all the help to improve.

Pretty standard gear, imo. I like it better than the jeans.

I would mostly just change the colors since Orange Cream doesn't really suit him well.

:| at Santos time as Undisputed Cruiser champ not even lasting a week. Also NXT pulling off the typical WWE style random title change after a PPV booking.

NXT Cruiserweight title match as very good though.

How he managed to still have a job in WWE/NXT after the really bad stuff that came out against him is a mystery besides Triple H not giving a shit about having an actual abuser on his brand.

This is pretty cool

This women's promo segment starting to get a bit overboard now.

Probably could have done without the shameless photo op moment in the end with Raquel, Bianca, and Rhea. Moment itself was cool though but didn't really need the promo stuff before it since it made the whole segment feel a bit weird in the end.

Roderick Strong handing over his NXT papers to Regal is interesting.

Maybe he really is getting called up soon since he's the odd man out from the Undisputed Era breakup storyline. SmackDown would be the best fit for him based on who they have on the roster for matches and feuds.

Ishiah "Swerve" Scott vs. Leon Ruff was pretty good.

NXT managed to pull a main roster style 50-50% booking with Swerve winning the grudge match but Ruff gets the last laugh by beating him up backstage.

Starting to think NXT doesn't know how to end feuds these days. First it was the Unsanctioned match that wasn't a feud ender for Cole vs. O'Reilly and now Swerve vs. Scott likely is going to continue. Even the Gargano vs. Lumis feud is still going on despite last week's TakeOver would have been the great time to do the blowoff match.

Wait Indi suddenly is now in love with Dexter despite being in fear of him for weeks?

That better be a swerve or else this Gargano & The Way stuff is inching closer to RAW tier territory in terms of awfulness.

Holy shit they really are going with Indi falling in love with Dexter storyline.

Maybe it was just a simple case of some really bad timing but doing that storyline while USA kept airing ads for a serial killers documentary series throughout the show felt a bit messed up since Lumis' character is meant to be like a silent serial killer.

8-person tag match was mostly a mess.

Show itself was mostly very entertaining. NXT Cruiser title match and Franky bringing along her adorable dog for her debut were the best stuff.
