Wow what a match. Never saw Big Shows knockout punch to Cena coming. Loved how they left it up to Ziggler. Incredible!!!

Then Stings debut was amazing. Great Deathdrop on HHH. I was pretty bored with the buildup to this match the last few weeks but they delivered 1000000x over on the payoff. Amazing finish

I just got home. That was the loudest I have ever heard that building when Sting came out. Ziggler looked like a fucking rock star during that match, just like I knew he would.

Cena finds his life was actually pretty sweet with the Authority. New regime doesn't honor his number one contendership. He has to enter early in the Rumble. Gets stuck with Hogan in a tag match at WM.

Daniel wins the Rumble and defeats Brock at WM. Authority music hits, Cena puts them back in power, and they grant him an immediate title match.

Must of just not come across well on TV. When he came out I was like "wtf is with this crowd? THis is fucking Sting. Pop louder you fools"

I'd have preferred the original WCW crow version theme but this was similar in sorts with crow noises and creepy music like in the crow movie......it will grow on us. It fits his character perfectly. Better than the fake Metallica stuff used in TNA and dare I say better than Metallica's 'Seek and Destroy'.

Reigns may well return at the Royal Rumble as the last entrant like Edge did from injury some years ago. Then there's Ziggler as you said, Bray Wyatt, even Ambrose. Can't see Rusev or Ryback winning it either. Cena probably won't even figure it. Sting certainly won't (and shouldn't). Daniel Bryan won't be back from injury by then.

FANTASY SCENARIO:

New Authority figure says that Seth Rollins didn't really earn the Money in the Bank contract, it was handed to him by the old Authority. Therefore it will be on the line in a ladder match against Dolph Ziggler at TLC. Ziggler wins. Later goes on to capture title, but probably not at Wrestlemania.

Gives Ziggler the title, and also solves the problem of Dean Ambrose saying he won't let Rollins ever cash in (which they will likely just drop anyways when they have him actually cash it in).

Seriously, even though it may be "spoiled", I still want to see the Stinger actually IN WWE for myself. That match is about to start now.

But I will say I miss the old school Survivor Series being almost nothing but team matches. Wouldn't have had to pull that "let's swap people out" from Team Cena if they had more than one 5v5. And some other underutilized people could have gotten some PPV face and ring time.

I was working, eating dinner with a friend, and tending to a kitty while watching the PPV. I didn't really have time to post in the thread.

That was one of the most well booked PPV main events I can remember. Fuck, that was awesome. Hope this wasn't just WWE going all out to get people to keep the network and they can actually build off of it.

I wouldn't have complained about Ryback being the man to score the winning pin though given that he has yet to have a major WWE moment other than a spontaneous title shot against Punk.

But the Ziggler bit worked well, whether there's a push for him I don't know. But Ziggler imo has never been "far away" from the title or main event picture so it's not like he's been promoted or elevated somewhat if say it had been Big E Langston or Kofi Kingston neither of him I expect to see hold the title.

Where would they push Ziggler to? We're not far off the road to Mania, Reigns returning, Lesnar coming back, etc. there's no place for Ziggler at the top of the card for now. It might have even been better for Show to knock out Dolph when he turned. Show vs. Dolph could have been something.

I haven't watched the show yet, but watched a video of Sting's debut, and I have to ask myself. What did Rollins take that laid him out for 6 minutes to take a pinfall?
