When I got to Vince’s office he was pacing around and seemed unhinged. ‘Glenn, we need to step up big tonight. You’re going to be a game changer tonight. Can we trust you Glenn?’

Vince has this way of empowering you. I really felt rejuvenated after hearing that. I really wasn’t expecting much for this event but now Vince had my interest peaked. He told me ‘We made some promises to some very loyal people (WWE universe) that a very special return would be happening. A return from Big Daddy Cool! However due to a mutual inability to come to an agreement; Kevin Nash will not be appearing tonight. That doesn’t mean we won’t see Diesel. Are you following me Glenn?’

I was sitting there in his office in disbelief. How in hell is he going to try and run me down the ramp dressed up like Kev (as Diesel) again? He told me they had a wig prepared that would look exactly like Kev’s hair; because I had short hair the time. He told me to go with sarge and test out the gear in private. There was a million things I wanted to say but I was really in such disbelief that I couldn’t mutter a single word. I stood up, Vince slapped me on my shoulder proud as a father could be, and I walked out with sarge leading the way.

I was really hoping this was some sort of joke but as sarge lead me into a private dressing room there it was all over again, the Diesel outfit that had nearly ended my wrestling career sixteen years earlier. Being the loyal employee I put the outfit on as well as the wig and waited in the room for someone to tell me what my match plan was.

It felt like forever waiting in that room staring at the wall wondering why in the hell am I doing this bullshit again? I was really close to taking the shitty outfit off and just going home when Pat (Patterson) came into the dressing room and told me Kev came back and he and Vince worked it out. I needed to give up my Diesel gear and get back in my Kane gear pronto. He told me that they were going with the original plan. One problem; no one told me the original plan. Pat told me to wait here and I did. He came back fifteen minutes later and told me they forgot about Kane and said I would be going in dead last at 40, eliminate EJ (Ezekiel Jackson) and be eliminated by Rey in under two minutes.

So that is why I was number 40. No one ever mentioned the Diesel change to me again. I still can’t believe those fuckers were going to march me down the aisle posing as Kev again. What a fucking nightmare.

For years, I've been looking for all the "Man's Man" vignettes. Only ever seen the one uploaded where it is implied that he chopped like 50 trees into a massive pile of firewood in a single afternoon, but not the ones where he's shaving with his axe or the one where he "doesn't need a can opener" and pops a food can open by squeezing it like Popeye. Pretty sure there's a couple more I can't remember offhand, but WWE usually did about 5 of them before a person debuted.

Don’t blame Jamie Kellner at all. He wouldn’t have canceled WCW if it weren’t such a money pit. And isn’t there a whole bunch of stuff about at least one of Eric Bischoff’s investors backing out when they saw the spreadsheets? So the Fusient sale was likely not going down anyway.

So what had happened was Bischoff's investors wanted to own those time slots on TNT, which meant they could air whatever they wanted and could sell the time slots. So technically Fusient could air WCW for 6 months and up and decide "we aren't gonna air WCW" and replace it with whatever they wanted to and there's nothing TNT could do about it. Or they could sell the time slots. Can you imagine having no control over the prime time slots on your own network.

According to Eric Bischoff, he once came up with a storyline in WCW that would have involved his character getting killed off and return as a ghost to haunt Nitro afterwards.

Only reason it didn't happen was due to TNT not being fond of that idea at all.

So I thought, that’s what I need to do. Now I wasn’t really going to crash my plane in Mexico, or even land in Mexico, but I was going to plant the word that -- My family was in on it. My kids knew what I wanted to do. My wife -- she did not like it at all because I wasn’t telling the rest of my family. I was only telling my immediate family. So my wife had a real hard time with that storyline, and it never happened. I mean, that’s pretty bizarre, but I pitched myself that one. I should say I pitched it to Harvey and I got shut down on that one.”

I remember that episode of NXT where Kevin Dunn's audio got leaked. It was kinda interesting hearing him run the show. But that was in late 2010, before the days of a billion camera cuts.

Would be kinda fascinating to hear him call a show nowadays. Is he literally screaming at somebody to switch from camera to camera over and over again or is he doing it himself. It happens so rapidly. Dizzying.

For those who watched the Biography episode about Booker T on A&E from this past Sunday, supposedly the reason for the lack of any real talk about the infamous Road to Mania 19 storyline between Booker T and Triple H was due to WWE's involvement with the editing of the episode.

Someone who was interviewed for the episode mentioned how he talked in depth about the controversial storyline and knew it was going to get axed by WWE since it would have made the company look bad.

Booker T claims that was never the case and the reason for the lack of talk about it on the episode was due to it never being one of the topics planned nor filmed for it.

John Pollock brought up a good point how that being missing from the episode was a total cop-out on WWE and A&E's end since the episode didn't shy away from other racism incidents Booker T encountered during his career in WCW and Global Wrestling Federation.
