ROH announced they are launching a new Youtube series based on their Women's division.
It will be called ROW Women's Division Wednesdays and debuts on April 28th. Bit surprised WWE and NXT never bothered to launch their own all-women's show considering they have more than enough women to do their very own brand. |

Taz fucking ruled.

I remember a skit with Smothers cooking spaghetti or something while spouting some bobbity boopity jibberish.
It was amazing. |
The FBI skits were always the highlight of the "Pulp Fiction" promos

One of my favorite Stone Cold moments. He doesn't have time for your shit - starting at 1:15

LMFAO - You're not gonna spit that stupid ass water all over the crowd!! Just spit it on the floor and get in here...
......and I'm waiting. |
Austin is the fucking GOAT. I can't believe I ever suggest any single thing Hogan did could ever compromise that.

Sheamus and Regal feature in this quite a bit, can't even remember Regal doing a powerbomb as one of his finishers. :wtf: |
Some of those moves they used as a finisher like once or twice. Viscera never used the Bossman Slam as his finisher.
|
they should have included all the countout and dq victories as finishers, too
|
And like Muraco stopped using the Spike as his finisher in like 1981 lol

He has the face of a hired goon.

Is that John Morrison in there? What did he do to get included with this bunch

The one with the blue glass?
That's "70s Guy" Mike Awesome instead. https://cdn3.whatculture.com/images/...k-thriller.jpg |

When you think you're tall enough to step over the top rope..but not really. |
Lol I was at an indie show where the ref went to jump over the top rope into the ring from the ring apron, and face planted so bad lol. His face was all bloody. Had to have broken his nose.
|
Why was the ref even jumping over ropes lol
|
Lol dude it was some guy in his early 20s probably trying to show off for his friends, but he fucking hit his damn head so hard. It was in 2001. I remember Sabu almost running over a group of fans in his car.
|
And it was so weird the way he tried to jump. Rather than putting both hands on the ropes and kinda swooping your legs over like you normally see, he put both hands on the rope and jumped straight ahead lifting both knees to his chest over the ropes.

So sad. Steve Mongo McMichael has been diagnosed with ALS and is deteriorating fast.

Mongo was awesome in the ring.

Fuck :( poor Mongo

:( Mongo.

Terry Funk tested positive for Covid. Apparently he's doing ok.

According to the Observer Newsletter, the upcoming Kenny Omega vs. Rich Swann title vs. title match will only be the 2nd time in wrestling history that two world titles from different companies were on the line for a live PPV show in the US.
Would have been the 4th time but two of those matches didn't fit the criteria because of how the matches were handled. Quote:

She's so good at stuff like this.
|
She’s much more likeable when she’s doing stuff like that than when she’s doing more general PR stuff. I was fully expecting to have to turn that off after a minute or so due to fakeness overload.

Was reading a RAW recap...AJ/Omos haven't been on the show since winning the belts at WM? Are they both injured?

Its either that or one of them managed to get hurt at Mania and WWE is keeping it a secret.
Nothing else would make sense as a reason to not have them show up since its not like anything interesting has happened for the RAW Tag division since Mania outside of Orton now being buddies with Riddle as a team. |

Lots of time to read and learn while you're living in your basement. AEW fans really propping this up.
|
CMLL broke off their partnership with Ring of Honor today.
Supposedly its due to them being very upset several ROH talent were going to work for RUSH's new promotion in Mexico and ROH doing nothing to stop them since they consider RUSH's new promotion to be a potential threat and rival. |
CMLL being CMLL
|
Their level of pettiness towards wrestlers and other promotions is like the Mexican version of WWE.
I wouldn't be surprised if their partnership with NJPW is the next to go since its been in a fragile state ever since their antics against NJPW over NJPW's booking of Dragon Lee after he had a falling out with CMLL. |

"Vince and I are two peas in a pod; I love the asshole. I do. He's an asshole. Sometimes. So am I." - Piper
This A&E doc is pretty decent, but of course, it involves some eyerolling moments from Hogan... |

|
I gotta check out the Piper documentary.
|
It's good. So far, the Steve Austin and Piper A&E docs have been done very well. I don't know even a 10th of the shit you know, so maybe there are some big details missing, but the stories are told extremely well.
|
I always found it interesting how much Piper gets talked up despite sucking ass at everything he did post Wrestlemania 3 aside from the WM8 stuff with Bret. I LOVE everything Piper did prior, but man was he just fucking awful after he left in 87
|
The thing I remember most as a kid was him and Bad News Brown. Where he painted himself half black and did that weird promo where it sounded like he was struggling to breathe.
I think it was the WM6 promo.... not where he was in the crowd, but it was a backstage thing. |
Quote:

I don’t remember ever not loving Piper. He was easy to root for. Even loved the Lawler feud when I was a kid.
Also, he was great on Always Sunny. |

What was he saying this time, yet another story or 2 that somehow never tallies up with everyone else's version of events? I remember him claiming he was in the room with Calloway when the Undertaker character was given to Calloway, which according to Calloway never happened and Vince offered him the character over the phone. Hogan always seems to have this magical ability to somehow insert himself into relevant moments in wwe history, regardless if he was with the company at the time or not. |
