It's just crazy enough to work!
Worked the first time.
Fonzie got scratched from today's game. Looks like the deal's going down.
Why hasn't anyone told me that there's a reliever named Billy Buckner on the Angels?! God baseball is funniest sport ever.
Jays better win at least 2 out of 3.
It scares me how happy Soriano coming back home makes me.
So Brent Lillibridge and Soriano will be starting for the Yanks. That worked very well for the Cubs this year.
Cody Ransom hitting cleanup tonight. Good times.
Spring Training 2015, woooooo! |
lol it's so blindingly obvious that the Yankees are hoping A-Rod gets suspended before they have to bring him back. Wouldn't be surprised if A-Rod tries to file a grievance or something against them once the hammer comes down.

Thank you Mark Buehrle

the first time in my life the Rockies pitching is incredible and the offense is a giant trainwreck
It's amazing what'll happen when you're not trying to use a 4-man rotation!
Also, I thought the Rockies had like, one of the best offenses in the league this year? What happened? (I don't follow/care about the NL so I only hear about teams like the Rockies in passing) |
They still bizarrely won't let pitchers go over a hundred pitches most of the time like they did with the four man rotation, but fortunately 3 of the 5 have been throwing 7 innings before going over a hundred.
And with the offense my personal belief is that when Tulo and Dexter Fowler got hurt everyone but Michael Cuddyer tried to do too much and they're still in that sort of mode. So they're taking bad at bats and mostly struggling, and now Michael Cuddyer's struggling a bit. Tulo doesn't seem to be fully ready to play yet and Dexter Fowler is the streakiest hitter on the planet. Also Carlos Gonzalez while still the best hitter on the team has like 15 different minor injuries that are messing up his swing and his approach. So basically at the moment no one is performing consistently on offense besides D.J. Lemahieu for some reason. |
AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Yankees gave up some nobody a-ball pitcher for Fonzie. Game's gonna be awesome tonight! |
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO |
The Hudson injury made me think back to the Big 3 in Oakland. Used to think that you could tell a lot about someone by knowing which of them they thought as the best. I always sided with the Hudson crowd.
I always sided with Zito, then he stabs me in the back by joining the Giants.
As long as you didn't think it was Mulder, that ass-burglar.
I dunno about any of them but I hear this Rich Harden kid is gunna be a stud
I've said once, I'll say it again.
CC Sabathia is no longer superhuman. |
We're on our way to 1st place, baby.
On our way. |

I probably screwed up the analogy there. What I meant to say is, Kuroda (#2 guy) is outperforming Sabathia (#1) similarly to how Scherzer has leapfrogged JV this season. Yeah.

Turns out the Biogenisis Clinic roids scandal goes deeper than just pro and college since high school baseball prospect names also show up on the lists MLB has access to. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/...ic-sources-say |
By ahead you mean he might move first, right? You're not referring to talent I hope.
No just in what's being asked for demands since the Royals are currently asking for a steep price and probably steeper than what the Phillies want from Lee.
Royals want MLB-ready talent as the basis for any deal while the Phillies probably want deals to be more prospect-based or someone willing to cover what's left of Lee's current deal. |
Would hate to see Cliff Lee get traded. Again.
Edwin Encarnacion just hit 2 home runs in one inning: solo blast and a grand slam. Chrrist the Astros are terrible.
Yeah, when the tigers played them, I think they out scored them 45-10 or some shit. Terrible team. Rays gonna be alone in first place after this game too. Really hope tigers vs rays in the ALCS
I wish there was an MLB-equivalent site to capgeek.com
Imagine if MLB had a cap. Rays would be 4x champs by now.
Yeah I dunno if Joe Maddon is just like the greatest manager of all time or if it's the GM or what. I enjoy seeing the franchise do well, if only because I can't stand pretty much the entire AL East otherwise.

But ya know what? WE'RE IN FIRST PLACE, MUTHAFUCKAS! |
Keith breaking form by being a Rays fan who cares before September.
#controversial |
You said the same thing last year, Supreme "The Dream".
I don't think I did, Keith "The Queef".
