I actually don't mind TNA too much right now, as it does offer something other than WWE programming. I actually found a channel on Youtube that has NWA/TNA from 2006 on. It's amazing just how far they've fallen since then.

I "met" Jericho backstage at Disney's Hollywood Studios in probably 2010. His VIP Tour Guide had just parked near the office building that I was heading toward in my golf cart. We passed each other near the gate near Pixar Place. Did a double-take then gave him an "I recognize you and am a fan, but I respect your privacy. What's up?" wave and smile. He smiled and responded with an "I appreciate that. Things are going well. Hope you can say the same. Enjoy your day, kind sir" wave. It was a nice moment.

Lock Jaw 06-08-2014 12:21 PM

Our top story tonight, Wrestlezone reports that John Cena and Adam Rose were reportedly injured during the WWE house show in Madison last night. The site notes that Rose suffered a cut over his right eye during his match with Heath Slater, which was wide enough that it brought out trainers to clean up the blood and fix him up before the match finished.

Cena's injury sounds more potentially serious. Per the site, Cena "suffered a pretty severe blow to the head" during his match with Bray Wyatt. The ref threw up the signal, causing two trainers to come out and check on him for several minutes. Cena worked the rest of the No Holds Barred match, which involved several foreign objects and was physical, and then left straight to the back after te show without the usual celebration with the live crowd.

With Daniel Bryan also flirting with needing to take serious time off, >tfw no Main Event faces could soon be a very serious issue in the WWE
Quote:

Jim Ross' hospitalization on Thursday night that lasted over the weekend were reportedly due to stroke-like symptoms. TMZ reports that Ross was feeling symptoms similar to a stroke on Thursday after he got him from his trip to Las Vegas and that (as previously reported) his wife made him go to a hospital.

Doctors ran tests on Ross that revealed he had suffered a minor undiagnosed stroke sometime in the past. The current symptoms were being caused by medication he was taking for an unrelated medical issue. His meds have been changed out and the problem is believed to be completely resolved.

At least two casting agencies sent out notices this weekend for a WWE project that takes place next Monday, June 16th. It did not list a location but next week's RAW takes place from Cleveland and we know at least one of the agencies is based in California.

The name of the project is "WWE Orchestra" and WWE is looking for 14 total males and females of any ethnicity to appear in an orchestra. They will be wearing Sting face-paint and not actually playing their instruments as music will be dubbed in, according to the notice. The pay for the gig is $650 plus an agency fee.

The listing for the orchestra stand-ins reads like this:

"Orchestra musicians with own instruments Principal Male or Female / 18 to 70 / All Ethnicities Looking for an orchestra of 14 musicians, all with own instruments - ideally a full orchestra who play together regularly. They will be "fake" playing in the promo, music will be dubbed in. All will be wearing the face paint that Sting is known for. Must be OK with heavy face makeup. Any leads on full orchestras who would love to make some money, would be awesome!! Open to all ages (over 18) and for the most part, people will be unrecognizable."

The listing for the Sting body double reads like this:

"Body double for STING Photo Double Male / 38 to 50 / Caucasian, Ethnically Ambiguous, Hispanic, Mixed, Multi-Ethnic 6'2, 250lb of pure muscle. Prefer a guy with wrestling experience, very fit. HEAVILY muscular. Slightly longer dark hair. Will have a full face of make up on. paying a higher rate as we need a GREAT double for this."

I recently realized that Hornswaggle isn't the worst thing to happen to an over gimmick since Dink.

The reason I say that is because Dink wasn't put over Skip, Rad Radford, and Hakushi after Doink (every version up to that point) left. He wasn't put in major storylines, either.
