Dale Torborg was still in his 20s when WCW went under, and reportedly WWF was interested in making him one of the contracts they picked up but he decided to skip his tryout and go back to baseball coaching.

In 1994 there was a short lived daytime Talk Show called Bingo Break. Gorilla Monsoon was one of the host along with some woman who wasn't in the wrestling business. Sean Mooney and Bobby Heenan were on it too, but they don't play up the wrestling connection at all. He's actually not even referred to as Gorilla Monsoon. He's "Bob Marella". It was created by long time WWF producer Nelson Swigler. It's really interesting.

Everytime I read a fan's critisim of a wrestler doing a dangerous spot or neck bump, makes me sick.
