Rumours of Jay White going back to Florida for some time off from NJPW. As we know they generally sign guys for year or two year contacts in most cases. Considering he's basically done it all in NJPW, people are thinking he may be headed for WWE. I am wondering why AEW hasn't been in this train of thought? They seem to have no shortage of budget to pay stars who become available and he would likely stand a better chance at being a big player there. Personally and since I don't watch NJPW anymore, I'd love to see Jay show up on Dynamite and take a major role in the main event scene of the company.

This was in reference to a few things.

1. Chasyn Rance, who is a convicted pedo. He was in one of the dark matches for the show Omega booked for New Japan during some gaming convention (precursor to Fyter Fest, I guess?). When asked about it, he said he had no control over who was booked in the first matches (Rance was in the second). When that was called as bullshit, he claimed not to know him (there were pictures of them together).

2. Joey Ryan, who was heavily featured in episodes of "Being the Elite," a really stupid bit with him and Hangman that culminated with the Dick Druids and all that shit in All In. Then his allegations that caused them to scrub him off the episodes.

3. And Marty Scurrl. That one is a shame, because I thought he had a better mind for the business than the rest of them.

As for my disdain, for the most part and only really chase down the stuff I want to watch, same way I have been enjoying WWE as of late. And on the whole Predator thing, I know full well WWE isn't innocent on that, and that goes all the way to the top.

John Morrison should be the poster boy for the laziness of WWE creative. Left, almost a decade wrestling all over the world and winning championships, and then came back to the same gimmick, the same look, same entrance music, same presentation, and in a team that was around 12 years ago.

I bet you could splice together his final WWE appearance in 2011 and his return in 2020 and convince some people that no time had passed.

I can't even recall a single thing he's actually done since he's been back. :(

He came back to fill a mid-card role and does that perfectly fine. They’ll use him when they decide they want to use him.

There are people who will legit, straight-faced, tell you that AEW has the best tag team division ever. They do not have a tag team as good as Roode & Ziggler or with as much potential as the Street Profits. And most of the general wrestling audience knows this.

Worst wrestling promotion has to be between either AEW or TNA. I haven’t watched Impact in long enough to comment. But there’s a reason those two entities are working together.

Let’s take those 2 examples; Roode & Ziggler (AKA The Dirty Dawgs) could be better than every team in the world, future, past, or preset but they are met with an absolute “meh”. That’s not because of some bias against WWE, it’s because Ziggler has been middling about in WWE for 15 years doing the same act.

Street Profits are great (well, Montez Ford is great, Dawkins is there too) but potential means nothing in WWE, as they have proved over and over and over again. You can’t invest in them because you will get burned. And you will get burned.

The bias that exists towards AEW is that as a new entity they have the capacity to deliver on promise (obviously you depart on the grounds of what it is that you want delivered) whereas WWE have spent the last 20 years promising to not deliver.

I watch both with a general malaise to be honest but I think the above is pretty evident.
