I've never liked Star Trek in my life but I'm not going to deny a great movie.

Fave film of the year so far

Destor 05-10-2009 02:55 AM

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: 5/10

:(

Destor 05-10-2009 02:57 AM

Just checked and people ar eliking this Wolverine movie? Wow. Dunno why.

Jeritron 05-10-2009 03:47 AM

Lol I know. I'm with you Des. It was beyond awful to me. I think critics and movie geeks seem to agree with us, while the general public and fanboys will stand for it.
That isn't suprising though, since the latter just want to see mutants, and the former want to see explosions, cliches, and good looking people.

CSL 05-10-2009 10:27 AM

The Untouchables - 7/10 (imo, the score really hurts this. Instead of it fitting in with the period the film depicts, which it does occasionally, it mostly makes the film feel like a parody. Would literally have given it 8/8.5/10 if it weren't for that)

Big Nothing 7.5/10 (Funny, unpredictable, quite short, well worth watching at least once. Dunno why they felt the need for Simon Pegg to have an American accent though, not really needed. David Schwimmer is essentially playing a toned down version of Ross)

Ogen 05-10-2009 12:08 PM

Wolverine, 4/10. I'm no big superhero movie fan but that was a bit crap.

D Mac 05-10-2009 05:19 PM

Star Trek 10/10

Hopefully the beginning of something special.
