Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 04:04 AM

I can't imagine why they're not doing anything with him.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-30-2016 04:47 AM

Surprised he's not on the Social Outcast team.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 05:16 AM

He'd arguably be a better fit for the group than Curtis Axel.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 05:17 AM

Heath Slater, Fandango, Bo Dallas & Adam Rose vs. Ryback, Damien Sandow, Curtis Axel & R-Truth would be a perfectly acceptable 8-man tag team feud.

That's a whole lot of dead weight right there

It's James E Cornette.

*DING DING* It's is indeed spiteful, bitter, hateful, wishes it was like we were wrasslin' in 1982 James E Cornette.

Imagine being angry that a scripted form of entertainment doesn't look like legitimate sport.

"Another nail in the coffin"

Does this mean The Undertaker doesn't really have magical powers?

Anyone who wants pro wrestling to be viewed as legitimate sport in this age of MMA is an idiot.

Cornette famously only presents his wrestling shows as a serious product...

Kevin Owens is a prize fighter. This time the prize will be Undertakers soul.

Arguably is right, Feel like Adam Rose is the odd one in the group and would be better with a serious Fandango. Also feel like Sandow would be a better fit than Bo but Bo Rida was pretty funny but Sandow can rap to I guess.

Rammsteinmad 01-30-2016 12:42 PM

Sandow can rap. In fact, he raps better than Bo Dallas does.

Simple Fan 01-30-2016 12:54 PM

Yeah didnt mean to put that t on the end of can.

erickman 01-30-2016 01:25 PM

looks like kong will be kicked out of tna again, she does not play well with others. she needs the kongs going to kill you chant even better reby needs that chant when she goes in the ring.

was great, especially the Shinsuke chants before his entrance and Okada and Ishii holding the ropes for him

Haha, you need to actually listen to what Jim Cornette actually says. You're way off the mark and using the typical "He wants it old school!" strawman to try and discredit him. Cornette doesn't want it old -- he wants it good.

I get the Adam Rose thing, but he's also this weirdo that throws parties and tries to escape into the hedonistic to be accepted. I think he's fine in the group.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 06:32 PM

Mandy Rose looks tremendous. I wonder if she'll have the right attitude for wrestling though.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 06:32 PM

Apparently Reby Sky talked shit about Kong and said she wouldn't do anything to her face. Whoops.

Simple Fan 01-30-2016 06:38 PM

I do get that Axel really isnt much of a social outcast like the other 3 and Fandango would fit that mold better. Just like that Axel is on TV again. In a perfect world Fandongo would be in and Axel and Sandow would be a tag team with out the mimicking stuff. Also would take Axel and Cody Rhodes as a team called The Perfect Dream which I have stated many times.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 08:12 PM

Here's what I'd would do with Axel:

* Have Ric Flair appear in a backstage segment with him and remind him that he knew his father and what a tremendous wrestler he was. Flair wants to know why Axel is wasting his time with Heath Slater.

* Stardust faces Kalisto in a US Title match, where Kalisto retains the belt, which sends Stardust into a bit of a rage. He starts kicking shit around and basically snaps out of the gimmick a bit and gets in Triple H's face backstage about wanting more opportunities. Triple H basically tells Cody that he needs to work that chip off his shoulder first.

* Cody Rhodes re-debuts with a sour attitude, and his first stop is his brother, Goldust. Cody wins with the Figure Four and continues the beat-down after the match. R-Truth makes the save and there's Cody's next victim.

* Ric Flair approaches Cody and says that he admires everything that Cody has been doing recently. He sees the Hall of Fame potential in him that Cody knows he has.

* Ric Flair invades a segment with The Social Outcasts with Cody Rhodes, and Flair again reminds Axel of who he is. Heath Slater and Adam Rose tell him not to listen to Flair, but they get attacked from behind by Bo Dallas. Axel, Dallas & Rhodes proceed to beat the piss out of Slater and Rose as Flair applauds from ringside.

* Cody Rhodes officially announces the formation of his new faction. I don't know whether you want to dig up the Legacy name or not, but Rhodes is the new second generation guy with a rocket strapped to his back, while Axel and Dallas form a proper third generation tag team.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 08:13 PM

When Randy Orton returns, you eventually build to an Orton vs. Rhodes match, which is used to put Rhodes over as the new heel in town. If you align this group with Charlotte, then the Becky vs. Charlotte stuff could lead to Finn Balor coming in to take issue with Cody.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 08:14 PM

Legacy vs. The Bullet Club wouldn't suck as a SummerSlam opening match.

I could go with that. Stardust is another intriguing character that could have been more than it was/is. Very deep character and you can tell Cody enjoys it, though the Cosmic Wasteland was going to somthing and they ended up being spectators for Cesaro matches. Wanted a Stardust vs Sting match at WM to lose the Stardust gimmick.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 08:32 PM

It's possible that Stardust could have been more, but the gimmick always felt really hokey off the bat to me. It completely contrasted against what Cody Rhodes was originally all about too.

Could allways do a new 4 Horseman with Flair as the manager. Axel, Cody Rhodes, Ziggler, and Charlotte. WWE seems to be faction happy at the moment with Leage of Nations and Social Outcast. With as many people on the roster it makes sense and groups guys together so they all get exposure.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 08:55 PM

I often wonder about what a Four Horsemen in the modern WWE would look like.

Dolph Ziggler is usually my starting point. The Miz also makes sense from kayfabe reasons, although people would hate him being included. Cesaro fits the idea of the group...and the dude fucking rocks a suit. Tyson Kidd would actually work too as the "workrate" guy in there, but with Austin Aries just signed, I can't think of a better fit.

Ziggler, Cesaro, Axel and Aries? Cody Rhodes would be a better fit against them, I think.

Thought the early part of the gimmick was good with Cody gradually channeling more of his inner Rhodes family weirdness that even shocked Goldust after a while. Just seems that after the whole "cosmic key" stuff, the gimmick has been running on fumes outside of the comic book-esque feud with Neville and Green Arrow.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2016 09:08 PM

Maybe I just cling to that promo where Dusty helped Cody beat down Rey Mysterio, and the Hall of Fame was mentioned as the ultimate career goal of Cody, and that he was focused and going to tear through anybody to get there. Him painting himself gold to spin around and act like a Batman villain just seems like a detour to where he's meant to be heading.

Could also see AJ Styles if they dont include him in Bálor Club. Him and Ric have worked together in the past and Ric probably wouldnt be opposed.
