I should kick myself. I watched the season two finale of Young Justice and I am so sad now, because I have to wait extra long until a new one comes out :(

Very true. And, call me crazy, but the Baldwin in Crisis wasn't awful either. I actually really liked his scenes with Owlman.

Makes more sense. That nose and those green eyes definitely say Red Hood Joker.

Yeah, that's pretty clearly the Legion of Doom (Luthor, Cheetah, Toyman, Grundy, Captain Cold, Poison Ivy). Makes way more sense for that particular Red Hood to be Joker rather than Jason Todd.

So yeah......apparently they already started season 2 of Young Justice, and it's........different. Really different.


SPOILER: show

After wrapping up the arc with Vandal Savage at the end of Season 1, the series skips ahead 5 years. Zatanna and Rocket have joined the Justice League, and Robin (now Nightwing), Miss Martian, and Superboy are mentoring the new team--which consists of the new Robin (Tim Drake; apparently they're skipping Jason Todd), Batgirl, Wonder Girl, Blue Beetle, Lagoon Boy, Bumblebee, Beast Boy, and some guy named 'Mal Duncan' who I don't recognize. Apparently the whole season (subtitled "Invasion") is about, as you'd expect, an alien invasion of Earth. Right now the threat are these little goblin-like aliens called 'Kroloteans,' but the real invasion is probably gonna be a heavy-hitter like Brainiac or Darkseid.

I'm legitimately disappointed that they skipped so much time, missing out on an awful lot of stuff, including what happened to Vandal Savage and the Light. But the new season does have potential.

I'm still half expecting it to be some kind of parallel series, or like a "Days of the Future Past" thing where the future turns out to be horrible and they have to go back to the team's early days to stop it, or something.

On the other hand, it is really cool seeing a fresh crop of heroes on the team. It should be pretty interesting to see just how much everyone has changed over the missing 5 years. And hey, the first episode has goddamn LOBO in it!

Wheres aqua lad? I kinda like some of the dynamics that they've set up. I really like how Dick and Tim drake have a big bro/lil bro thing going on. Nightwing seems to be the perfect fit as team mentor. I hope to see more Icon, I think that this is the perfect way to advance the Vandal Savage/The Light story. Lobo was awesome!

This isn't really news or anything, but I've been tooling around with an idea for about a year or so, and have started posting it as a fan essay. If you're so inclined, this is my concept pitch for a full-on Superman reboot, "How to Build a Better Superman."
