ECW is still going?!!!

Lock Jaw 10-14-2011 05:52 PM

No. That post was unrelated to what has gone on in the past two years.

The Macrem 10-14-2011 05:56 PM

anything in the two year period you wish to contribute?

Does SD really show classic (more like last year's) matches to fill time? Haven't watched it offline for a while

Xero 10-14-2011 08:46 PM

Nah, that's only on the international and online version. Can never tell what they cut out, though.

I'm surprised he never went up North. Norton could have easily have been a top heel.

Kane doesn't look so old with his hair back. He looks better.

Also, the music makes the pictures more "WTF". Along with the fact that the video is Part 2, so obviously there is a Part 1.

Cool King 10-15-2011 06:03 AM

I've just watched Part 1 and the guy that made the video is claiming to know Kane's wife and he's saying that he got the photo's from her Facebook account.

From the front page:

Quote:

“I’ve experienced WWE twice now, and I know that I do not enjoy that place,” she says. “The second time I really had optimistic hopes and dreams, but I know I would never go back there.”

Kim informed WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis that she was quitting the company ten minutes before the infamous battle royal in which she eliminated herself from the match.

“It was a very controversial thing,” she said. “A lot of people said that they lost respect for me because I was unprofessional. But unless anyone walks in your shoes they do not what you feel.

“I can admit that maybe it was a childish thing to do. But I would not take it back. I was disrespected many times by the company, and when you get disrespected that many times there is only so much you can take.

“I’m not one to just lay there and take it – at least not now – and they didn’t even notice.

“I was fed up that day.”

Now that she is free, many people believe Kim will return TNA Wrestling, where she achieved her greatest success. She feels that it is likely, but she is in no rush.
“Right now I’m on a little hiatus,” Kim said, “I told myself I’d take a little break. They didn’t let me quit so I was forced to take a break!

“I’m not retiring from wrestling, I can say that. I always said – I said it in my last interview with TNA on a Knockout’s DVD – that I always felt like I would return there one day. I’d love to finish up my career there.”
Gail Kim is a moron. Not by quitting WWE, not any of that. Just through this...

It was a very controversial thing,” she said. “A lot of people said that they lost respect for me because I was unprofessional. But unless anyone walks in your shoes they do not what you feel.

My two cents ... "man, woman, or beast... you're a dipshit"

Sky Sports did and interview with Dolph Ziggler on Wednesday if anyone is interested in reading it.

Quote:

skysports.com: Hi Dolph, You and the rest of the WWE roster are touring the United Kingdom next month. What do you love to do when you are over here?

DOLPH ZIGGLER: I love coming over and seeing the fans because we only get to do it once or twice a year. It's also cool checking out a pub, or a soccer game and seeing the sights and sounds that we don't get in the States. Plus, I like English food, especially your fried breakfasts. I wish American breakfasts incorporated beans.

skysports.com: Because of the way you look and your entrance music, you often get compared to WWE Hall of Famer, Mr Perfect. Do enjoy that?

DZ: I always appreciate being compared to a WWE Hall of Famer and someone I looked up to as a child; it's a great compliment. But, at the same time, it is a little frustrating when you're trying to forge your own path and you're constantly told: "You remind me of this guy".

skysports.com: Apart from Mr Perfect, which other wrestlers influenced you as a child?

DZ: I loved Ric Flair. I loved Shawn Michaels. They were both ring generals and stole the show every night. Shawn was a big influence on me when I got to the WWE, too. Before he left, he helped me out mentally and with some different things in the ring. He always went out to steal the show and make his mark, and he told me I had to do the same every single night. But he also said to make sure I did things my own way and to stand out from the pack.

skysports.com: X-Men star Hugh Jackman punched you on Raw recently. What was he like to work with and would you like to face him in a legitimate match?

DZ: He was great all day, shaking everyone's hands saying hello. But then on Raw he decided to punch me and my jaw still hurts. It makes me want to get him in the ring again and show him how good I am at what I do. It's easy to punch someone from outside the ring, it's a lot more difficult to do it in a match environment - especially against someone as good as me.

skysports.com: You had a match with Daniel Bryan at Bragging Rights in late 2010 that was widely regarded as a Match of the Year contender. Do you know how good a bout is while you're in the midst of it?

DZ: You know you're part of something special when you hear the crowd reacting. We weren't really involved in a big feud so for the audience to be that involved in our match, and feeling exactly what we were doing, was special. It was amazing to be part of.

skysports.com: Which WWE Superstars' matches do you like to watch when you're not competing?

DZ: John Cena is usually in the main event and his matches are always great to watch because the crowd gets so into it. I also make sure I watch a lot of Zack Ryder matches; he's a good kid and is really coming into his own.

skysports.com: You have appeared on Ryder's YouTube show, Z! True Long Island Story. Do you enjoy doing things like that? Do you have any plans to act?

DZ: I always love entertaining, whether that's through matches or talking. On Ryder's show, I get 35-40 seconds to talk about whatever I want and it's really fun. As for the acting, if I could make a film that would help take WWE to a wider audience, it's something I'd do in a heartbeat.

skysports.com: Your brother, Ryan, is in WWE's developmental system. How long do you think it will be before we see him on Raw or SmackDown?

DZ: You never know. We work for a company that is always unpredictable. It could be weeks, months or years. I keep getting told he's working really hard and I've told him to make sure he works harder than everybody else. Hopefully he'll make it. He's a similar style wrestler to me but obviously has a couple of years less experience and is a bit skinnier.

skysports.com: And finally, the NFL recently kicked off its new season. Which team do you follow?

DZ: I always root for the Cleveland Browns. They are always the underdogs fighting an uphill battle. They almost get to the play-offs but never quite make it. Hopefully this will be the year. My favourite Browns player of all time is quarterback Bernie Kosar, but right now we don't really have many stars; we're an up-and coming team.

Less commericals to fill time. On Raw live, they have to make the Raw logo stay on screen for ages during your commercials as there's laws against showing as many as you guys do.

I love the Austin after WM13. He's still not a face, insulting the crowd and they're still popping for him.

"You idiots coming out here with your Austin banners, but I did everything on my own" *crowd cheers*.

That was like Kurt Angle in 06 before he went to ECW and then left the company. He was a heel, insulted the fans, but the crowd still popped for him.

These crowds are amazing. They were all booing Bret and then he says: "You're all sick and depraved" and they pop.

THE FACE BUS.

Over on the heel bus, people be spitting on each other too much to tweet.

Cool King 10-15-2011 04:35 PM

Does anyone know the size differences with T-Shirts between Britain and North America? I keep hearing that they are different from one another.

I'm wanting to buy some from WWEShop but I'm unsure which size to get. :-\

They're all blinded by the awesomeness of Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio is winking doubletime.

I was not aware of this, but I imagine American sizes would be much larger than the British sizes.....
