Because even if we give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he is protesting from a purely magnanimous point of view - that the focus should be on the actual NXT talent and not a hard ploy for more "star power" - even he knows how much shit he would get if he got back in the ring over someone else who should be getting more ring time. He would get all sorts of "gloryhog" backlash.

If HHH ends up in the SS match or not, will it actually matter or make any real difference? Yes, in theory it would be "worse" if he did, but will it actually be any better or matter if he didn't? I can tell you the answer to both questions is a quick and simple no. Also, who gives a fuck about what CM Punk thinks about wrestling at this point? Yeah, he's still outspoken, honest, and probably not wrong, but so what? Him speaking his mind isn't actually going to change anything either way. While, I'm slightly curious to hear his take on things, it doesn't matter what he says as it won't change anything, and I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to check it out. If I happen to come across it, so be it, but I'm not going out of my way, and certainly not to watch live, to simply check out a "WWE" show to see what some has been's take is on the current product. Apparently Adam Cole won't be on the NXT Men's team for Survivor Series since he's now defending the NXT title at the show.

Probably since he's mentioned before his AEW contract allows him to work for GCW during his free time and he still wants to keep working there from time to time. Those specialty events he runs have been huge money makers so doubt he nor GCW wants to end those any time soon.

With Page leaving THE ELITE (watch Being the Elite) I think that once Scurl comes in it will create a natural feud between the two. And Page is best at working the ROH style main event, add in Scurl... yeah it's gonna be the best of ROH on TNT. I love how AEW truly doesn't need any more talent right now. Add in Scurl and all is set. I just want to see them work what they have signed already, with the exception of female talent. Almost all of the female talent they have brought in for one off's are worth signed over the girls like Britt Baker (DMD) and Allie and Brandi.

I know the general consensus here for the most part is for NJPW to just end the partnership with ROH. But, with things up in the air at CMLL, AEW not really gonna approach them anytime soon if not at all, their hands are pretty much tied unless they look at someone else like MLW, NWA or one of the other growing indie outfits. |
MLW is probably out of the question for NJPW since they are currently partnered with AAA.
Meltzer mentioned a few weeks ago about NJPW officials being in a somewhat holding pattern with their CMLL partnership due to the on-going rift and rumors of a split happening there. ROH already weakened their partnership with CMLL due to the RUSH situation and CMLL bringing in less ROH talent for their shows this year. |
That women's division has been something special. MLW should really study it before they start one.

WWE cancelled tonight's episode of 205 Live and instead will be airing a repeat of this week's episode of NXT.
3rd time 205 Live has had an episode cancelled or taping change made since SmackDown moved to FOX. WWE didn't bother to air an episode following SD's debut on FOX, moved 205 Live to Full Sail due to being away on the European tour, and now not bothering airing a new episode after tonight's SD. |

Found myself watching "WWe Untold" last night about sting and his 2 matches, find it weird he didn't seem to think Vince brought him in just to put the final nail in WCW. 2 matches lost both, and insult to injury the rollins match was immediately after the cena-rollins match, yet he still couldn't win. :-\
He seems to be hinting at one point he might have another match. |

Either Rusev still has some doubts about staying or just him trying to squeeze more money for a new deal the longer he waits to sign.
Between the two, Lana supposedly has been way more happy with her time in WWE than Rusev and she simply wanted to get a new deal done as soon as possible. Wasn't until very recently that Rusev stopped teasing online about leaving the company once his contract expired. |
