Apparently WWE recently removed Adam Cole's height from his roster page despite everyone else I checked still having their height listed.

Either WWE or Cole himself got tried of all the ridicule over his exaggerated listed height since its been a running gag online ever since he signed with WWE. They had him listed at around 6 feet tall but he's actually smaller by a noticeable amount. Like they have Roderick Strong listed as being 2 inches shorter than him despite Strong being taller than Cole whenever those two are standing next to each other.

Orton reportedly signed a new deal with WWE according to PWInsider.

Pretty dumb to sign now and not closer to his contract expiring since he could have gotten a ton more money from the company.

He probably got a truck up to his front door and thought “That’s enough.” He’d have no serious intention of going and working in an ironic promotion anytime soon.

Anyway, I came in here to also marvel at what a giant wanker Seth is. Maybe someone was ribbing Dave with that story, or maybe it is true and Dave is just being the bigger man, but it shows what people think of Seth Rollins and are willing to believe about the big weiny.

He made a tweet saying “I hate football so much I just don’t care anymore.” Yo...dude...that’s wrestling and you bitch about it when people don’t suck your dick.

He's either confident or he's a bitch. NXT won't save his ass, even if a reboot makes him "legit" in the eyes/voices of (even most) fans.

Even if he never actually wanted to leave, still think he should have kept up the act since he could have parlayed it into a potential big push for next year's Mania and add a few more extra hundred thousands to millions to his new deal.

Gertner and I chat a bit about him, and we both agree that he needs to be less "old man yells at cloud," but I think he's a good man who's highly principled... and equally highly strung.

In saying that, here's his response to this recent lame bullshit. At the end of the day, this man is a fucking liberal who very much cares about the downtrodden. To act like he's racist, homophoic, or insensitive to suicide is plainly dishonest.

Reminds me of when they would put HHH and some else against the entire Raw or ECW roster.

Seanny One Ball 11-06-2019 01:36 PM

There was a fucking amazing angle once where Triple H had to wrestle five matches in a night. I think it was 5, he had to win 3 to get whatever the incentive was.
I seem to remember each match being a specialty of another top wrestler, probably Undertaker in a casket, Mankind in the boiler room etc.

Did that happen the way I'm remembering it?
I think Triple H was still a heel at the time and he came over strong.

Helmsphere 11-06-2019 01:46 PM

It was before Unforgiven 1999. Triple H lost the WWE championship to Vince who vacated it the next week on Raw. HHH wanted to be put back in the six pack challenge.

He face Kane in a Inferno Match.
Big Show in a Chokeslam Challenge
Undertaker in a Casket Match
Mankind in a Bolier Room Brawl
The Rock in a Brahma bullrope match

Seanny One Ball 11-06-2019 01:52 PM

That's a great angle. Is there anyone they could do that with now?

I bet reason for smaller entrance are is like Orlando where they want to cram as many in as possible...Per Wikipedia it seats 65k for NFL....vs 82k for MetLife and 75k for Superdome

If a pirate ship isn't used at any point of Kairi Sane's entrance, then next year's Mania automatically joins the bottom tier of Manias.

Why even bother having Mania in that stadium if the giant pirate ship isn't used at all for her.

Unless he got everything he wanted and the deal kicks in now. If Vince said “Fuck it, we’ll give you $10 million a year and you can be in one of the main events next year and we’ll put your buddies with you soon if you sign now,” maybe he just laughed and kicked his feet back?

lol, Corey Graves went on his podcast and basically just said all of the Saudi stuff was overblown and that the boys posting about it on Twitter or leaking stuff to Meltzer were doing themselves and the company a disservice.

Reminds me of when he accused CM Punk of "violating the first rule of punk rock". Talking about what's punk and what isn't when you're a mouthpiece for a giant corporation run by a rich conservative family with ties to the Trump administration was hilarious.

I've seen clips and matches here and there. This shit looks top notch. It's amazing how much quality wrestling is out there.

Not sure. That building and atmosphere seems sweet though...

Just saw that video cause Meltzer was talking about how the David Starr vs. Jordan Devlin match was one of the best matches he's seen

Based on the spoilers from the UK, tonight's Smackdown looks pretty bad but not as terrible as RAW is going to be.

The women's tag results might be the worst considering what happened last week.

Same for
SPOILER: show
NXT UK's invasion being a big dud compared to regular NXT's invasion the week prior

Heyman going off on someone saying "my boy" when mentioning Benoit. Interesting vid even without that.

A guy with special needs did that when I was just about to bowl and I nearly tripped as I let go off the ball.

They shouldn't let them use the real balls. It's madness.

Anytime I see him, or a lot of guys in recent years who surprised be by showing up in NXT, I keep imagining a quote somebody doing a Vince impression (I believe it was Paul Heyman) saying "... but he's just so tinyyyyy!" - and then I wonder how quickly they would be buried after a call up because of it. Guys like Gargano and Dunne and all of UE - in spite of their skill and charisma and exactly how fucking over they are for their own reasons - don't really fit that whole "airport" test of his.

I feel like I have to say I'm not really shitting on Cole here for it. Not his fault he didn't grow another half foot taller to make all of this a non-issue. It's also one of the reasons why I dislike the concept of their current Cruiserweight title. If a majority of wrestlers in this era are that size, and everyone does flips and dives and shit anymore, what is the point of pigeonholing some particular people as "cruiserweights" and not others?

Also doesn't help that a lot of NXT's big stars are around a similar weight to the Cruiser division. If WWE went by their old lightweight system, Cole would be considered as a cruiserweight and stuck on 205 Live instead of being given as big of a spotlight he has received in NXT.

Same for someone like Finn Balor who would be one under the current weight system.

Oh, I saw this in WWE2k20 and thought it was a glitch. Turns out they just accurately programmed this move in the game.

That's what I meant... there are so many guys they have now, especially being back on their "toy collecting" shit, but how many of them are being promised the moon only to be vetoed by Vince no matter how much they may have going for them otherwise? It took them forever to actually follow through with Daniel Bryan. Shinsuke Nakamura has been IWGP champ more times than AJ Styles, and we were all shocked that WWE pushed his little ass as an exception to the rule (feud with James Ellsworth notwithstanding), in spite of already knowing he was world champ almost everywhere he's been. If Sami Zayn got the same treatment on the main roster that he did in NXT, he'd likely be considered a main-event gatekeeper by now.

It's like the opposite of when Shane Helms was the Crusierweight Champion without a cruiserweight division. Now, most of the combined roster would technically fit the bill, but most of them have more to offer than the specticle spot-monkey purple belt.
