Name that tune, Flash Funk.

I can't wait for more of the same. I've been eating it up for about 6 years now and it's made me groww strong.

Hopefully they get Cena back into the WWE title scene soon.

Fignuts 11-09-2013 02:25 AM

The recent rumors about Daniel Bryan being taken out of the main event reek of disgruntled IWC mutant bullshit.

I don't think WWE is stupid enough to not see that buy rates are probably down because every PPV has ended in a screw job finish, the last few months. The Battleground finish in particular, would make me not want to purchase the next PPV, if I was the sort of person who purchases PPVs.

weather vane 11-09-2013 03:09 AM

The product is insanely boring. There is absolutely no reason to tune in. You need storylines that are must see, they have zero of that. It is awful.

This is coming from a guy who NEVER complains.

Kane isn't claiming to be his own brother.

Kane is still the Kane character, but more human.

Does anyone else think WWE is seeding a "woman in the Royal Rumble" angle? JR has blogged about that twice in as many weeks.

Replace Orton's face turn video with Big Bossman, which I feel was the perfect face turn.

Note to Heenan: Slapping your charges is NEVER a good idea.

Also, Undertaker's official face turn was at the following Funeral Parlor segment, when Jake asked "Just whose side are you on, anyway?" The pop was massive when Taker said "Not Yours!"

But UM is correct in that WWE having a blogger under contract would be too obvious and disclosed under some SEC filing or another.

TNA is too poor to afford JR, and he'd probably not sell out anyway.

Curd 11-09-2013 09:37 PM

I bet the SHINE bookers and wrestlers would like to get a few pieces of ol' JR! lol

They'd probably hire some local talent to dress up like JR and get the stuffing beat out of him. Said dude then goes online and brags about how well he sold for the "talented ladies," LOL!

A friend of mine showed me a video from Memphis where Randy Savage was feuding with Jerry Lawler. Savage started taunting Lawler about his dad dying and used the line "Your daddy's dead, Lawler. He ain't well."

I wish I could find the promo online. Was pretty hilarious.

I suspect "Shery RKO" misspelling Jake Roberts' name could have something to do with your difficulty in finding the Orton-Roberts-Jericho segment.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/vivUBECFl4M?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I enjoyed Roberts' lines, but the WWE makeup crew could have disguised Orton's pimple below his left ear a bit better.

Is it just me, or does 1980s Gallagher look like 2013 Jake Roberts?

great stuff here!

Randy Savage's debut in Memphis on 12/10/1983

this was sorta big because prior to this Randy and his dad Angelo who accompanies him ran the outlaw ICW group in that area.

the two organizations had a real life feud with another as there would be fights in parking lots.

Watching Impact. There's been one match in the first hour and 10. It was a Triple Threat (which by their nature tend to be No-DQ) that ended in a DQ.

Pretty hard going.

NXT injuries and news:
Quote:

Enzo Amore, who has been one of the most interesting and entertaining promos on WWE NXT, is out of action for at least six months with a broken leg.

Scott Dawson, who has a really good "tough redneck" character and really reminded me of Jamie Noble, disappeared off NXT TV in recent weeks. In asking around over the weekend, I was told he's out with a torn ACL.

We've also received questions about whether Judas Devlin has been released. That is not the case. He's been out of action for a long time due to a spinal injury, but he's still under contract to the company.

I'm thinking that Daniel Bryan may get another title shot come TLC. I could see Orton defending the WWE Title against CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Big Show in a multi-man Ladder Match or something. Bryan looks like he has the match won, but the title is pulled up by some mystery heel and Orton then capitalizes to win the match and retain.
