Hahaha, WWE are killing themselves by focusing on presenting themselves for social media and YouTube. They are ignoring their greatest fans when they should be GRATEFUL that they are keeping them alive.

xrodmuc316 12-27-2021 08:09 PM

Alpha Academy has decent entrance music

Supreme Olajuwon 12-27-2021 09:47 PM

Tuned in to see the Street Profits vs Mysterios match which was very good. Finish was a doomsday blockbuster which may be my favorite dumb psychology move.

A whole lot of this tonight since the only big names on the show are RKOBro, KO and AJ.

Who did Chad Gable wrestle this week?

Evil Vito 12-28-2021 04:25 PM

Reading the Raw recap on WWE.com and here is how they described Edge's segment:

Quote:

He delivered on his promise, channeling his Brood persona once again to douse Miz, Maryse and even Bischoff in his signature black liquid bath
Jesus Christ

Mr. Nerfect 12-29-2021 12:50 PM

Lol, Eric Bischoff still yo-yoing between these companies.

This is how CBS covered it:

“Maryse has served as The Miz's ace up the sleeve in the latter's feud with Edge. Monday's episode of Raw angled the veteran to take a vampire-sized chomp out of The Miz and Maryse's morale.”

slik 01-03-2022 08:07 PM

Paul Heyman already makes this easier to watch

slik 01-03-2022 08:10 PM

Roman vs Brock is definetly still the WM plan

slik 01-03-2022 08:14 PM

Heyman and Farmer Brock are hilarious and gold, A+ opening segment

Evil Vito 01-03-2022 08:22 PM

Could see Lashley/Brock at the Rumble with Lashley actually winning via Roman interference. Then Brock assaults an Uso during their Rumble entrance, takes their spot and wins.

slik 01-03-2022 08:23 PM

Whether it happens or not is one thing but Paul Heyman definitely deserves to headline the HOF one year for WWE.

That's my guess too.

Sets up Lashley/Big E rematch for WM (presumably) and Roman/Brock

Supreme Olajuwon 01-03-2022 08:26 PM

I hate how much I like RKBro. They are pandering, lowest common denominator cliche bullshit. And I’m totally into it.

Becky wrinkles her forehead a lot while talking...very distracting...wish she'd get botox so she couldn't move her forehead when speaking

slik 01-03-2022 09:31 PM

Outside of the opener with Heyman/Brock this ep hasn't been real compelling for me personally thus far...

slik 01-03-2022 10:23 PM

Even AJ Styles can't get Omos to a good match

Sepholio 01-03-2022 10:57 PM

holy shit they are giving us Lesnar/Lashley at Rumble. I'm sold on that event just for that and the rumble match itself.

Sepholio 01-03-2022 11:00 PM

I'll say this. I didn't like Big E losing his title so soon. But damn if this means we get Lesnar/Lashley and I'm guessing Lesnar/Reigns at Mania, possibly title vs title then who cares. Works way better like this.

Sepholio 01-03-2022 11:04 PM

Damn....so Lesnar is gonna confront Reigns on SD this Friday. Reigns was on there last week, but out for Day 1 so obviously he tested positive on Saturday sometime. They are going to have him back out there 6 days after testing pos. This makes me wonder if it was faked (or as they'll claim if it is, a "false positive") even more now.

Rammsteinmad 01-04-2022 07:30 AM

I can see Heyman screwing Lesnar just to prolong the fued with Reigns until Wrestlemania.

Kinda cool to see Lashley and Lesnar finally. I bet it's a total squash though and Lesnar destroys Lashley.

This is still my prediction even though logically, there's no reason why Roman should want anything to do with Lesnar. Nor should Heyman (assuming he's still working for Roman).

Lesnar winning a belt on the other show was the perfect outcome for Roman. It creates separation between them. The last thing Roman should want to do is provoke Lesnar into coming back after him to seek revenge. There isn't a believable motivation for why he'd want to do that, other than stupidity.

I think a fake Covid thing is very unlikely. They don’t even like to acknowledge it really. And they’re publicly traded. Getting a dude with a potentially compromised immune system to fake a potentially fatal illness is just…horrible.

Reigns got it. He’s doing fine. Tough customer. Is coming back to not fuck up Mania season. They’ve just got unpredictable creative for a program that could have run into roadblocks if fans knew every beat (even if it was good). And that’s probably Heyman. The man deserves a medal. And they should really let him be involved in more things, if not the whole show.

Whole show Heyman gets to pandering. He wants to push the Buddy Murphy and the Cedric Alexander. He wants to get over with his booking. But if you can give him just the right amount he wants to get over…gold.

I thought for sure it would be Saudi. I’ll admit I was wrong. They might do something hectic like a title change and then a title change back, or a no contest that sees them both in the Rumble to really hype the Saudi match. Or the Saudi show is off.

Mr. Nerfect 01-04-2022 08:49 AM

Maybe Lashley wins at the Rumble. Not with Roman interference. He just does (maybe not cleanly, but his own shit). Brock wins the Rumble, he challenges Reigns, but he also gets a rematch with Lashley. Why? Because Heyman did his contract special. Isn’t that why he’s a free agent?

Brock and Roman for all the marbles, Lashley and Big E in a grudge that gets a tiny bit of a rub from Lashley actually getting it done against Lesnar. It enhances both matches, even if the WWE Title changes around a bit.

I always thought Lashley would win the first Lesnar match. My thinking is that Brock is just the bigger star. Plus, I think USA wants black stars. Sorry, but representation is real. Lash “gets more” from beating Brock. Ugh, but it gives Brock silly hiccups.

I don’t know. I’m thinking no contest.

drave 01-04-2022 08:55 AM

Heyman's promo was a masterclass in how to promo.

drave 01-04-2022 08:57 AM

LOL - watching it again and at 4:35 in the video someone can audibly be heard saying "SHUUTTT UP AND WRESSSSTLEEEE!!!!"

I will always sit and enjoy a Heyman promo.

Last Friday was a recap show, Roman wasnt there.

Sepholio 01-04-2022 01:12 PM

Ah I didnt watch, figured it was a regular episode considering it was the night before a PPV.

Mr. Nerfect 01-04-2022 02:10 PM

I guess the most obvious thing to do if Roman doesn’t have complications and can come back is maybe to have Lashley beat Lesnar and Big E win the Rumble. That feels a bit underwhelming though. Lashley as champion to drop to Big E was a leading possibility though.

xrodmuc316 01-10-2022 08:07 PM

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley face to face!
