A Santa Clara County grand jury has indicted former 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald on one count of raping an intoxicated woman following a party at his house in December, per the San Jose Mercury News. San Francisco linebacker Ahmad Brooks has been indicted for one count of misdemeanor sexual battery against the same woman at the same party, as well. McDonald faces up to eight years in prison if he is convicted of rape, and Brooks could be behind bars for six months ...

The grand jury also indicted McDonald for violating a domestic violence restraining order in late May. He could serve up to a year in prison for that misdemeanor charge.

The December incident was McDonald's second domestic violence arrest in five months, as authorities apprehended him last August for allegedly attacking his fiancee. No formal charges were ever filed in that case, and law enforcement eventually dropped it.

The Bears signed McDonald to a one-year contract in March, but released him in May following an altercation he had with his fiancee while she was holding their young child. San Francisco general manager Trent Baalke said Wednesday night the team is aware of the charges against Brooks, and he won't play in Saturday's preseason game.

After watching week 3 of the preseason, this is pretty much the only word I can think of to describe the Giants.

12 players on their 90 man roster didn't even suit up tonight, Robert Ayers went down during pregame warmups, and by the end of it a few more guys were knocked out for the game. Shit is ridiculous.

And they seemed soft just in the way they played, especially the defense. Fucking Markus Kuhn is lining up with the first team defensive line for reasons I can't quite figure out, and the dude was getting knocked 10 yards back on every play. And they still can't tackle for shit. If I were to take a shot for every defender that got knocked on their ass by the offense I would be in the ER.

I don't care about the scores in preseason. I just want to see gradual improvements. The only positives I can glean from this one are that the first team offense finally put together an impressive scoring drive, and some backups made some nice plays (Jerome Cunningham representing the CSU system for the win). But if the defense plays anything like this week 1 in Dallas, Romo and Co. will drop 40 on them.

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 10:17 AM

No that would be the Browns.

Clerk 09-02-2015 10:23 AM

No the Browns don't spend 100mil on a quarterback thats worse than Andy Dalton (Tony Romo) No wonder Demarco left jerry Jones is the biggest idiot in football

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 10:28 AM

No they draft a no talent waste of a pick Jonny Manziel. Tony Romo is a damn good quarterback but you wouldn't know anything about good quarterbacks being a Browns fan so I'll give you pass on that one.

Clerk 09-02-2015 10:30 AM

I'd take Manziel over injury prone Romo anyday of the week and twice on sunday. It's not my fault your QB can't make an accurate pass and your shitty WR can't catch lol

Clerk 09-02-2015 10:30 AM

Manziel > Romo Gordon > Bryant

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 10:37 AM

Right, that's why Jonny can't even get on the field. And Gordon can't even stay clean enough to play. Your just making yourself look foolish now.

Clerk 09-02-2015 10:37 AM

Tony Romo can't win a playoff game and Dez Bryant can't make an easy catch overpaid and useless

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 10:41 AM

Tony won a playoff game last year and Dez is one of the best receivers in the league, you can't debate that those are facts.

Clerk 09-02-2015 10:46 AM

Lol who did they beat in the playoffs? No good scrubs washed up has beens on TV selling total gyms and your gonna lose this battle like you lost return of the dragons. I'll rip your chest hair out, put it in my mouth, ill squash you like i squashed the south. Also Gordon was the best WR in 2013-2014 until wrongfully accused of smoking herb

he was Framed obviously. Browns didn't want to pay him the max because they wanted to see how Johnny would do. Do you know anything about football?

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 10:56 AM

I know more than you it sounds like. Browns didn't pay him because he is a fuck up.

Simple Fan 09-02-2015 11:04 AM

And how much sense does it make to not sign your best reciever if you want to see what your young QB can do, if Gordon was clean and stayed out of trouble he probably would have got a good deal. Gordon got himself in the situation and is paying the price. Dude is very talented but just can't get right.

I've come to the conclusion that your just a hater. When somebody (like me) is doing good for themselves you always try to find a way to downgrade and belittle them to the best of your ability. I mean can you even do athletic things? Do you play sports? No so who are you to judge someone? Shame on you.

The appeals court this would go to only reverses 10 percent of the cases. It's over except for the probable competence hearing for Roger Goodells dismissal from the NFL. Robert Kraft could still also appeal. He was lied to by Goodell.
