Yeah the Bengals resorted to low tactics because that's the kind of bitches they are.

Actually, looking at the replay, the CBS guy was right. Green's concussion came from hitting the ground the way he did. The Bengals' defender couldn't stop once Green went down (in other words, it was incidental).

I don't think the Bengals had to do such a thing anyway. The Chiefs weren't playing that great even with Green there.

That should be a good game, they're playing the Pats aren't they?

Crippla 09-11-2006 06:07 AM

Patriots didn't look that good today so I don't know but I'm still going with them.

RP 09-11-2006 12:27 PM

My first impression of my Colts.

1) We have no running game. I dont know if eventually they will get better, Addai looked great occasionally. He caught some passes and seemed to fit alot better then Rhodes did. If we cant run the ball and Manning still manages to put up huge numbers and put us in a number 1 or 2 seed, he's MVP hands down.

2) We cant stop the run. We got blown off the line all night. Barber gashed us. Jacobs ran us over. It was really pathetic. BAD BOB SANDERS! BADDD. If we dont learn to stop the run and we get run over like that week in and week out, we'll be lucky to make a wildcard.

3) Adam Vinateiri is sick. Bad foot and he's still kicking feild goals from 45 yards like its nothing. If that was Vandejackass, we would have lost that game.

4) Special teams was outstanding.

5) Peyton threw some questionable balls that should have been picked, but given his track record, i'll go ahead and say that was rust. He'll get alot sharper against the Houston Pushovers next week.

6) Marvin Harrison quietly couldnt be covered by anyone on the Giants and probably will have a huge season this year with a shakey running game.

the worst part of the loss is that the giants play philly and then seattle next, they can easily be 0-3,

jacobs is a fuckin beast

and i hope mike francessa chokes on a steak

and thanks assman

First of all. Shame on NBC for only having one camera angle for the PI play. It was obvious to me that the recievers arm and shoulder came up and made contact. Did it make enough contact to bother Nick Harper? Nope. Harper lost his balance plain and simple. But if you're a field judge watching that play and you see the guys elbow and shoulder come up and make contact, you're throwing that flag every single time. Doesnt matter how much contact there was. It's a split second decision.

I'm pretty sure that one play didnt cost the Giants the game. Giants had tons of problems.

Brandon Jacobs is a monster. My god.

Yeah, they're so dirty that they allow Chiefs wide receivers to push them into QBs...

He wasnt pushed at all. What play were you watching? But it also wasnt a dirty play. He hit him with the shoulder and Green didnt slide early enough.

RP 09-11-2006 01:06 PM

Seattle just gave a 1st rounder for Deion Branch. I would love to here what Miz says about this. I think this may be the biggest steal ever. I cant believe anyone would give a first round pick for Deion Branch. I also cant believe how overrated Deion Branch all of a sudden has become.

RP 09-11-2006 01:08 PM

Not to mention New England has no recievers that are worth anything and it showed against Buffalo.

Mr. Monday Morning 09-11-2006 01:35 PM

Nate Burleson FTW

Supreme Olajuwon 09-11-2006 01:35 PM

What play were you watching? I was watching this one:

His foot touched his back. His hand isnt actually touching him there. I just watched it from 3 different angles on NFL Live. There was no push.

RP 09-11-2006 01:56 PM

Unless i just couldnt see it, but i saw alot of space between the reciever and the guy that made the hit.

Triple A 09-11-2006 02:04 PM

Yeah pretty sure he was intentionally trying to hit him. Pretty standard regardless.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-11-2006 02:30 PM

Kinda suprised the Patriots actaully went threw with it and traded Branch, they have no type of recievers at all right now. They should just line up Ben Watson on the outside, he will beast niggas all day long.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-11-2006 02:31 PM

I really don't see how Branch isn't worth a 1st round pick though, the dude is a proven reciever in the NFL. I'd rather have Branch than Carlos Rogers or Brylan Edwards.

RP 09-11-2006 02:41 PM

Be cause superstar players have been traded for alot less. It was a sucker trade. He's not worth Reggie Wayne money either. And ofcourse thats what Seattle will be paying him. Which is hilarious.

Joey Slugs 09-11-2006 03:36 PM

BTW: The Bears handed Favre the first shutout of his life.

Mr. Monday Morning 09-11-2006 03:54 PM

Watching the 49ers - Cards game. Vernon Davis' TD was a nice little play.

Yes, that fucking guy is a well oiled machine.

A point I neglected to mention, they really were though. They were returning it to at least the 30 on all the kickoffs and their coverage was awesome.

Yeah, I noticed when they flashed the stats in the 4th Q. He had like 9 receptions for 113 yds at the time. I kinda of was like when did he catch 9 balls? Didn't notice how well he played with the flow of the game.

Another thing I did realize: The Giants were playing some pretty vanilla zone coverages against Peyton. That is a bad idea, the dude is a Hall of Fame QB and is going to tear up a zone defense 99% of the time, especially with the weapons he had. We never had enough pressure, never got there when we brought it and I think that is a testament that the Indy OLine is pretty good.

you can see Kennison pushing him in the slow mow shot that they keep showing of his head bouncing off the grass.

I'm not surprised they traded him knowing Bill Belichick. We do got good TE's like Watson and Graham though so we'll see about WR's.

I was going by what they said right after the game but saw the official stat later.. Didn't want to correct myself..

But, 209 yards??

That's horrible..

Crippla 09-11-2006 07:23 PM

I'm still doubting NO Kris.

Kris P Lettus 09-11-2006 07:28 PM

And believing in a team who only beat the Bills by a saftey.. The same Bills we beat 19-7 last season, when we were the second worst team in the league..

Good job with that..

Nervous Ferret 09-11-2006 07:30 PM

yeah Jets will beat he Pats this weekend

That performance was pretty ill, but I kind of want to see how they do against a better team. No offense but the Browns aren't a playoff caliber team.

Triple A 09-11-2006 07:44 PM

I seriously feel like the Jets will beat the Pats this week. They always play well at home no matter what. They were like 7-1 in 2004 and last year they were 4-4 despite how horrible they were. They will win this game!!!!!!

Crippla 09-11-2006 07:46 PM

They haven't beat the Pats in 3-4 years not that thats relevant but I still don't think they'll beat them.

Triple A 09-11-2006 07:48 PM

Also the Pats are huge dickheads. Jets were offering a 2nd round pick for Branch, which is what a "similar player" would have been worth but they wouldn't trade him. DOUCHEBAGGGGGGGS

Deion Branch IS worth a first rounder because he would be a first rounder. I mean you don't wanna go by what he was like back when he was drafted. He is a number 1 receiver and is worth it. I mean look at Tom Brady, he was a sixth round draft pick FFS.

Crippla 09-11-2006 08:39 PM

Also, please don't vote me off TPWW.

DrA 09-11-2006 08:52 PM

That Deion Branch tells me that Seattle is not secure about their receiver position this year. Just from reading the "context clues", I am assuming that Darrell Jackson is not in very good shape right now.

Also, apparently Drew Bledsoe injured his back somewhere in that Jacksonville game, which explains his shit play somewhat. I take back 45% of the things I said about him.

Crippla 09-11-2006 08:55 PM

What team was Drew Bledsoe drafted by, DrA do you know that one?

RoXer 09-11-2006 09:24 PM

Not sure what that has to do with him hurting his back

Crippla 09-11-2006 09:31 PM

Nothing but its a good point.
