He should probably slug his dance partner right in the jaw though, right?

No. That's for down the road. When it's time for him to turn face. During his pre-match dance, he accidentally punches her. This devastates him to the point where he disappears from WWE TV for weeks. Finally Michael Cole goes to his house for an exclusive interview and finds him sitting in the dark in his house. Unshaven. Unshowered. Haunted by his mistake. He doesn't know if he'll ever be able to dance again. That is until he gets a visit from a man he once considered an enemy. A man he beat in his first match at WrestleMania long ago. Chris Jericho. Jericho mentors him back into the art of dance and Fandango returns to fanfare that dwarfs anything we've ever seen in professional wrestling.

#1-norm-fan 03-25-2013 11:43 PM

Either that or he just punches her on purpose next week for being a cunt.

The Condor 03-26-2013 01:50 AM

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but next week there must be a segment wherein Fandango critiques Jericho's performance on Dancing with the Stars.

Mr. Nerfect 03-26-2013 05:42 AM

I hope this feud goes long past WrestleMania. This could easily go to Extreme Rules and have more people invested.

"You missed your step, you stupid bitch. Fannnnnndaaaaaaangoooooo"

BTW, the bit about Jericho saying he wanted his movie tickets took me a sec. But I lol'd.

We're fahhhhhn-dahhhhhn-going to CurtisMania!

CSL 04-03-2013 04:35 PM

just catching up on some bits of RAW, he needs to change that finish mannn, no way he does that 4 nights a week without consequence

Lock Jaw 04-03-2013 04:48 PM

It looked like he was holding his back/ass in pain after hitting it the second time on Monday.

Ultra Mantis 04-03-2013 04:50 PM

Yeah, looked like the second one hurt. What was his finish before? I don't think I even saw him win a match as Creepy Curtis.

loopydate 04-03-2013 04:54 PM

He used the top-rope leg drop in FCW, if memory serves. Not sure about his NXT days.

#1-norm-fan 04-03-2013 04:57 PM

I don't know. Bobby Eaton's finisher was a top rope leg drop and as we all know, he can still go.

Lock Jaw 04-03-2013 05:03 PM

CSL 04-03-2013 05:03 PM

Bobby Eaton spent most of his life in tag teams and was probably about 20-30lbs lighter

James Steele 04-03-2013 10:27 PM

Over the shoulder back to belly piledriver

What the hell is that? Is that the ol' Rikishi Driver?

Wow...yeah he isn't doing that in WWE.

Droford 04-03-2013 10:44 PM

Saw somewhere where the chant should be "you don't wrestle" not "you can't wrestle" but I guess barring a 30 second match that wont apply after wm.

How much different is that than Sheamus' White Noise?

Lock Jaw 04-03-2013 11:00 PM

Exactly like White Noise (especially the actual White Noise one). Except some of those weren't done very well. Especially Burchill's one off the top which is probably what made Steele say "Wow".

James Steele 04-03-2013 11:05 PM

I know Booker T and R-Truth use them, but I think the running axe kick would be a good finish for him. Tweak it some and it'd work.

James Steele 04-03-2013 11:07 PM

I'd mark out if he uses the ol' "6 Second Magic" move:

<iframe width="640" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pPsK0WSMWxs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

James Steele 04-03-2013 11:09 PM

...or do something like that to be a modified Fame-Asser.

Droford 04-03-2013 11:11 PM

The waltz of Fandango...make it a belly to belly suplex where he dances with the guy before suplexing them

Anybody Thrilla 04-05-2013 02:09 PM

Loved the 'move-scoring' bit on Raw and the intensity in the post-match beatdown. Definitely a highlight of the show.

Mr. Nerfect 04-05-2013 10:47 PM

I think that Fandango using that move would actually be quite appropriate. He should bust out something that makes everyone collectively go "Wow!" It's fucking WrestleMania and he's against one of the safest guys out there to work with. With theatrics it would actually suit the character, too.

Back when he was Johnny Curtis, I tried to think of some names for his unnamed finishers. I must admit to the lame title of "Curtis Call" suggested for either his Flying Leg Drop or Falcon Arrow. Now that he has a theatrical character and there have been some apt comparisons to the eccentric-yet-dark character of Goldust -- calling a move of his "The Curtain Call" might actually be appropriate.

Anybody Thrilla 04-06-2013 10:49 AM

What about "The Last Dance" or something simple?

Bad News Gertner 04-06-2013 10:51 AM

Fandango's Falcon Arrow is terrible. He's going to end up breaking his own leg.

Shisen Kopf 04-06-2013 08:15 PM

*hollycaust

Bobo 04-06-2013 08:24 PM

Seeing Fandango gives me frightening flashbacks of that ridiculous Disco Inferno. Even worse was when him and Alex Wright teamed up with each other.

Fandango v Disco Inferno in Hell in a Cell.....classic......lol

So surreal that Johnny fucking Curtis just beat Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. Very glad that the guy is getting used in a more constructive way than he has been over the past few years. There's a cool video on WWE.com of Jericho talking about where Fandango goes now.

Schlomey 04-08-2013 12:52 AM

At least their entrances were cool.

#1-norm-fan 04-08-2013 01:13 AM

Hey, guys. Johnny Curtis just beat Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. No big deal or anything.

Mr. Nerfect 04-08-2013 01:16 AM

Was a pretty neat match, too. Would love to see them face each other again.

So bizarre that after the years they have had, Johnny Curtis is 1-0 and The Ryback is 0-1 at Wrestlemania. You gotta love it.
