I think they intentionally skipped over Nexus. They just kinda threw him into that. Likely part of the brewing frustration that lead to "the" promo.

I have a feeling punk had a lot more say about the DVD than most wrestlers have so the fact that the punk led nexus isn't spoken of speaks volumes for how he felt about it..he seemed pissed off they let the SES die off as well, which was almost exclusively his idea..

I wasn't exactly desperately wanting to see the Nexus era discussed. It wasn't his best time.

And it should have ended at SummerSlam 2011. That's about the moment he was officially finally "There". Perfect place. He'll likely have another DVD out when he retires and that'll document SummerSlam 2011 on and his entire run as a legit main eventer. What better point to end this one?
