Woooo, Liverpool are signing ANOTHER Right Back :|
Never heard of Josemi, but he might be good....right? On the plus side, it would free-up Carragher's move to centre back |
At least you beat Celtic 5-1
Fulham have signed Pape Bouba Diop, good move again for them. |
Can't say I am too sad about Butt leaving
|
Fulham have signed some good players. I think they are going to have another good season, as will Middlesborough. Just watched Sky Sports News and the players they have signed are quality and they have gotten rid of Ricketts.

think fulham will be a surprise package again this year! hopefully we will have a good season, dont know how we are going to play tho. i think mclaren will go 4-4-2 with Schwartzer, Reizeger, Southgate, Ugo, Quadroe' at the back. Then will have Parlour, Mendieta, Boatang, Zenden (if signs) in midfield with Viduka & Hassilbaink up front. I wouldnt play this as with 2 forwards capeable of scoring goals, i would play Juninho just behind them, a) this is his best position, b) he will score more goals from here & c) he will make more goals from here. I would drop parlour to the bench to play the little fella or if zenden doesnt sign play him. Juninho is the man and needs to be in the team if we want to succeed! |
According to reports in Spain, Vieira has agreed terms with Real Madrid

That and I'll always remember the reserve match, way back when he was like 18 and i was about 8, when he belted the ball over the fence at gigg lane and smacked the middle aged woman just across from me in the face with it. She was talking to her friend about the inane pointless shit women seem to talk about, and it was awesome. The best thing was you could see he was trying to hold back his laughter as he asked for the ball back. Nicky Butt, I salute you :'( |

Marco Van Basten got the Holland job today.

Thierry Henry is more important to them. Robert Pires too, when he shows the form he did last season. If Freddy Ljungberg finds his form again, they'll be pretty much unstoppable again. I'd take £30 million for Vieira at his age, and considering his recent injury proneness. Edu and Lauren could easily step into central midfield. |
Vieira's the best at what he does but i agree with ECG about taking £30 million, with that Wenger can buy a good replacement and he rarely gets it wrong in the transfer market.
I saw the main linked replacement was Maniche, which could work as, even though he's more attack minded, they'd still be Gilberto there (most likely) to help balance it out. Anyway champions league third qualifying round draw today (the one with Man Utd and Liverpool in). Also, we've signed Joey Gudjonsson and Chris Makin. |
Not a lot of Boro News Lately aside from we beat Notts Forest 4 - 1 in a friendly the other day. Hasseilbaink got two
|
Vieira is already heading down the Roy Keane road of spending more and more time injured. He has a very troublesome knee injury that doesn't look as if it will ever clear up. He'll be struggling within a couple of years to keep the pace.
I don't think he has the big match mentality, either. If Vieira was half the captain people say he is, he would have had Arsenal winning important Champions League ties by now. Talented player, but I'd always pick Roy Keane ahead of him. |
The big match thing is a fair point...I don't think Vieira would have been able to drag Man U through against Juventus like Keane back in '99.
|
I think we should run a book on which club is going to be the next Leeds.
|
Greening signed with West Brom for 1.25 million pounds.
I'd have to say that that is one of the best transfers yet. I believe Greening is underated and I still can't believe he didn't get a chance at Middlesborough even after he won their best and fairest. |

he is best in central midfield yet mclaren kept playing him on the wing. greening will annoy you tho, if played on left wing,he will always cut back on his right before crossing and vis versa on the other side. he has good energy and wont let you down, shame he's gone as was a good squad player to call on for us. o well we cam always call on 'the next roy keane' in mark wilson! :$ |

Jesus H Christ Rob, are you sure you're a united fan?
|
Why?
|
Nathan Blake and Mark Burchill are training with us.
|
Burchill is all potential and no ambition. If he did then he'd be one of the best strikers out there.
|
He's came to the right club then (if he signs).
|
My team Crystal Palace:nono:
|
BRILLIANT
Because we've got the Indian champions in our tournament this weekend it's being shown on an Asian channel on Sky, channel 829  |

Leicester are buying everyone we show a slight interest in. Cunning little foxes.
|
First it was alright but the quality of whichever player you look at has gone down, next you'll probably look at some really bad league two player (or Michael Oakes ssssss) just to get us to buy him and look crap :(
|
Who needs Super Michael Oakes when you have Ian 'Blind' Walker

Christie couldn't do a good job washing his dads car for a tenner lol

Amyone see the Kezman/Dacourt thing. It reminded me of how much I hate Dacourt, mainly for his kick at Robben but his reaction took the piss.
|
Jesus, whats going on, Gudjohnsen scored for Chelsea, and then Cafu scored one hell of a goal, hit it first time from the corner of the box, great goal.
|
Dunno if any of you lads have mentioned this already, but Australian defender Craig Moore looks set to become the millionth ( ) Australian to play in the Premier League, with Blackburn about to sign him. He'll join Australians Lucas Neil and Brett Emerton at the club. The fucking twats at Rangers stripped Moore of the captaincy then gave him the arse, all because he wanted to play for Australia at the Olympics. :nono:
Speaking of the Olympics, a friend of mine asked me if there will be an English, Scottish, etc side in the Olympics football or whether it will be a Great Britain side with a combination of all you British guys. I have no idea, anyone know? |
There is no British representatives in the Olympic football tournament, because of the structure of the FAs.
Plus, Craig Moore wanting to play in the Olympics is a joke. The tournament should be kept to youth players only. Professional, full international footballers should not be allowed to take part. |
http://www.skysports.com/skysports/a...146207,00.html
Paul Scholes has retired from international football at just 29. Must be some injury we don't know about or something cause I can't see why he'd do this otherwise. Thats England's best midfielder gone anyway ( and before anyone starts he is their best midfielder, Gerrard will be better but isn't yet. ) |
He has had a few operations over the past couple of seasons. Maybe he is sick of the pissing and moaning that comes with his England performances.
|

I don't remember there being a British team at all in the Sydney olympics, though Ireland did participate.
|
Thats a bugger about Scholes, we will miss him. He got a lot of stick about not scoring for 3 years but he was world class.
Sunderland sent Mark Burchill back. He's a coke head (allegedly) and has a piss poor attitude. Can't wait until he fucks off. |
Real Madrid have agreed a £23m deal for Patrick Vieira according to Skysports
|
Well, i believe it this time, only because of what Sky Sports just said, the radio station has a stake in Real Madrid, and they were the ones who announced the Beckham transfer, doesnt mean he is going, just means Arsenal and Madrid have agreed a fee.
|
Who gives a shit who sven fucks.
Newcastle really got me excited after Rangers then let me down with "Sporting club of Portugal" (anyone know why they don't like being called Sporting Lisbon!?) |
|
What the hells going on here. This isn't football talk, this is soccer talk - Change the title.
|
a) Football = Soccer, because it's the only game where you use your FEET to hit the BALL
b) Fuck off |
Soccer means hitting a ball with your foot and it fits more appropriately .
Football means carrying, tossing, throwing. Also, what do you think they use to make a field goal? Their feet, which is very vital for the New England Patriots. But i'll take option b, thanks. |
Quote:
holy shit, goalkeepers use their hands, we'll call it handball instead. you turd |
Cheers for clearing my question up ECG.

Fuck off. |
We might be signing Joachim Bjorklund.
I dunno if he's any good anymore, but jesus christ, another Sunderland reject? :| |
Vieira has allegedly put his house up for sale for £5.5 Million

lets all have a whip round and buy it.
Ill stick a tenner in. |

Speaking of footballers houses, I worked in Seba Veron's pad in London today. The front of his house can be classed as a car lot. 8 cars in the driveway!

I bet it was you that broke in with a macchette a few months back, you crazy bastard.

should've nicked something or shagged his girlfriend.
Nick me one of his caps or something next time you're there. |

Football should be at the Olympics, but not in the current form. Football has its own competitions which matter more to the people involved, and that should be respected. |
It's set up how it is so that it doesn't compromise the integrity of the World Cup or something, isn't it?

So Just when I thought that Chelsea couldn't piss me off anymore
We let Mutu go on loan to Juve. :|
three of our most expensive four signings from last season are now loaned out after a season, and the other signing (Duff) has someone else just brought in to replace him. What the fuck is up with that. Gudjohnsen was my least favourite Chelsea striker, and he's the one we kept, he is pure shit and he has an aweful workrate, won't even challenge for headers. :wtf:. |
Did Juventus pick up his make up bills?
|
I doubt it, Chelsea will be funding 100% of his wages (Porbably) so I guess we pay for all his other expenses.
|
I'm thinking Robben will play on the right if they're both fit, but it's a good move anyway, considering Duff's injury problems last year.
Bit surprised Mutu has been let out on loan, considering Mourinho was talking about 2 players for each position. Heard they had a bit of a bust up on that American tour though, so i can't blame Mourinho for kinda making an example of him. |
You'll hear alot of things, Mutu, Duff and Cole have all been rumoured to have said pretty much the same thing in the last month, but Cole and Duff are still there, it's bollocks.
Duff's injury problems are indeed a bitch, but I think we should have just kept Zenden, and played him when Duff was injured, and play Joe Cole out on the right wing. |
Hey Dazz, have you seen the news aboot Kezman?
|
Quote:
Having said that, I don't think he'll be a regular (I damn well hope not anyway)...I'm thinking it's more a case of Jo Lescott hasn't played for a year, so we absolutely have to have cover for him, cause he's probably not going to make it through the whole season without at least one rest period. |
Quote:
Please tell me there is no other news. |
Pompey have signed Aliou Cisse from Birmingham but the Carrick move has stalled after Arsenal's interest, either way he's not in West Hams squad for tomorrow

Now I'm a United fan and all but what the FU</>CK is going on with Diego Forlan's hair?
Whilst we're on the Kezman subject, I think he may just grab the golden boot this season |

Kezman would probably beat you in a fight, Rob. He's a reasonably big fella and, more importantly, he's a Serb.
|
Quote:
|
I did not, no. Dacourt deserved it, no doubt.
|
If people wouldn't have stopped him, Kezman woulda killed him
|
Serbs are awesome :'(
I dont even get why Arsenal are after Carrick. It was between us, Everton and Palace then suddenly Arsenal :| He hasn't even been good for the past 2 seasons and he's not worth £3.5m and £30,000 a week. That said i still want him. And i feel sorry for Palace over the whole Cisse thing. |

Oh yeah, the Mutu deal is off now.

KICKOFF TODAY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Everyone watch and laugh at Leeds  |

Don't laugh at Leeds.
They have Pugh now  |
Coca-Cola Football League?:|
WTF have i missed? |
They farked around with the names of all the lower divisions, because Coca-Cola took over naming rights from Nationwide Realty.
So now: Division One = Championship Division Two = League 1 Division Three = League 2 |
VILLA

Quote:
Kezman's wife and kid have been kidnapped before, so I doubt he is scared of some south west London rent boy like you Harvey. Coca Cola weren't in charge of the new naming of the league structure, the football league did it to add more appeal to the leagues. And good to see Mutu staying . MUTU MUTU MUTU MUTU MUTU MUTU MUTU. But I doubt Mourinho will play him much. |
From what I've read Joe Cole is going to partner Gudjohnsen :| If it works fine but I dunno if Cole is suited to playing off the front man.
Leeds won  and yeah Pugh looked quite decent, Joachim looked up for it as well. Aside from that though they look distinctly average, they might push for the playoffs but I'd be surprised if they get back up. |
Yeah I read that shit about Cole and Gudjohnsen, but I doubt it is true, it would REALLY piss me off if it was.
I would like to see us play Cole right wing, but cutting inside and stuff, and Gudjohnsen might as well piss off, he is a useless peice of shit. |
Quote:
|
Kezman is the man, and he'd have you anyday Rob, end of discussion!
|
Quote:
Coming to think of it though, our teams pretty hard this year, Terry and Huth are hard bastards, Makelele is solid, and I wouldn't fuck with Drogba or Kezman. We'd do your boys in a fight anyday, Smith is the only hard person you have. |

 your crazy, oh how I would love a good old fashioned scrap on the first day of the season. We wont have Kezman but you won't have Rio, we'd batter you. Remember when the Arse showed how pussy your players were last season.
