Finished Part 1 of Money Heist..... Part 2 and 3 have less episodes in them.... Part 4 being released on Friday actually.....

Just completed the Tiger King series. So messed up.

Finished Part 2 of Money Heist..... (Really it is just one season split into two parts, and Parts 3 and 4 are another)

Feel like it was a "complete story" that doesn't need another season..... worried that it will feel "unecessary".....

I've finished both the second season of Versailles and the fourth season of Outlander.

I'm going to take a break from them both and watch Tales from the Loop and The Big C; the latter I never watched when it was originally on. I also intend to watch season 1 to 9 of The Walking Dead; I haven't seen seasons 7-9 yet.

Season 7 of TWD is the worst season of anything I can ever remember watching

7-8 def "not very good"..... stopped watching halfway through season 9....

5 Episodes deep into Money Heist part 3..... Still good, but doesn't seem to be coming close to the level of the first one..... definitely a bit of a "unnecessary sequel with a bigger budget that makes it lose a bit of focus"....... but still enjoyable

Done Part 3..... dunno.... still invested in the show and watching it glued to the screen, but.... def feels like the "sequel with more budget which makes it lose sight of what made it so great"....... but still enjoying it I guess....

Ah, finally a win for the UK streaming audience!

Big part of my Netflix loyalty due to this show.

Why Netflix cancel their own shows after 2 seasons is beyond me.

Watching "Norsemen" which is a Viking comedy on Netflix. It's Norwegian but in English.
A lot of the comedy is derived from Viking laws and traditions, it openly jokes about raping and pillaging a lot, but behind the coarseness is a solid understanding of what actually is funny about that part of history.

I recommend it to anyone with a dark, dry sense of humour.

I've laughed pretty hard watching it. One guy gets his hands cut off so the victor ties a wooden spoon and a fake hand made of twigs onto his stumps as a humiliation.

Was class.

On to the third season of The Walking Dead and coming to the end of the first season of The Big C, and I will move on to the second season of that. I think the new season of Bosch comes out at the end of the week, so I'll start watching that as well.

Started Ozark last night

I hover around that show but I've never committed to seeing any of it.
I like Jason Bateman but it still doesn't look very attractive.

I have started watching Ozark.

The first episode was good stuff, There's an obvious comparison to be made with The Sopranos, both rooted in organised crime but seeing from different perspectives of the criminal horizon.
So far it's a solid drama, hopefully there will be some comedy thrown in for good measure. Nice cast too.

4 episodes in, it is pretty good so far.
The dialogue could be better at times but it's mixing it up and I like that.

Nearly finished season 1.

Good cast, solid acting, but a few issues with the plot and character development and I feel like somebody should have curbed the constant growing weirdness in the side stories/characters.

There are too many character exchanges where one person dominates, outwit or gotchas another too. It's almost every other scene. Just constant sour faces being returned after terse interplay or some droll piece of one-upmanship.

It needs some levity.

I liked season 1 a lot but I did not like season 2. Season 3 seems better so far but "Maeve's" character is still annoying and unlikeable to me. Show became shittier and more boring when they started focusing on her too much imo.

The worst episode in season 2 was very Maeve centric, the one in Samurai World.

Season 2 at least had that incredible plot line following A.I. reincarnation/life extension for humans.

That was top class.

Will be a huge tragedy if they shot their wad with season 1 and can't carry the story into more interesting areas.

Never watched more than one episode of season 2...... Season 1 seemed like everyone was talking about it, and at the end it felt finished.....

But then they made season 2 and it seemed like no one was talking about it anymore, or cared....

Season 2 was good overall, I really did enjoy it for the story with Peter Mullan.
First season was absolutely brilliant though, they aint beating that without a pre-planned follow up story...which they obviously didn't.

Kerry Condon is a great actress and should have a bit more recognition. I would like to see her in more.

Better Call Saul is much more fun than Breaking Bad overall. I enjoy the contrast of darkness and levity, Breaking Bad was darker but both cover the emotional spectrum very well. I just find because Saul is more a scamp rather than a full on sociopath you can relate to him. Was hard to feel like Walt a lot during Breaking Bad.

I'm at the beginning of the new season of Bosch, and I've finished season 3 of The Walking Dead. I am still watching the second season of The Big C.

Walking Dead was great, even after Darabont and the zombie changes.
Season 6 was glorious. That's when it ended and the tone entirely changed from then onwards into fantasy.

Season 7 is Xena Warrior Princess.

Been slow on watching Money Heist Part 4.... went from a show where I literally couldn't stop watch in Part 1 and 2, to now where I have gone days in between watching....

But just watched a bunch. Two episodes left now. Gonna take a break and prob hit them up later today.

Finished Money Heist Part 4...... damn.... thought it was gonna "finish this story arc" because the first one was only 2 parts, but guess not.... and even though I was not liking it as much as Parts 1 and 2, I do want more right now, and for the conclusion to this story.....

I can't remember seasons 5 and 6 of The Walking Dead, but Maggie seems to have reached peak hotness in season 4. Damn.

Finished season 6 of Bosch; solid outing, but seems to be lacking something of the earlier seasons. I do like the fact that they have given the Jerry Edgar character more to do this time round.

On to season 6 of The Walking Dead; and I've watched the first episode of a BBC adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall novel, which is ok. I have still to finish the second season of The Big C, as I've been mostly focused on TWD.

Mr. Robot, Season 04 has been quite taxing and very rewarding.

Started Season 2 of After Life.

I really enjoyed the first season of After Life, and I don't generally watch Ricky Gervais' stuff.

This season was a bit too obviously formulaic. Last season was simply a sad sack who needed to pull himself together through seeing the goodness around him so you get a mixture of deeply saddening dialogue complimented and bookended by some crass, vulgar comedy which softens the blow.
This season has ramped this up so that each episode wallows for longer and the vulgarity has been exponentially increased and broadened. It's also guilty of some truly dreary montages, there are too many of these. I think most episodes open with one and some may have more.

I was dubious of the message in one particular aspect of the first season due to its horrifying detachment from an extremely dark issue in assisted suicide.
I am equally skeptical of the message/note that this season ended on. It was actually quite sinister and probably relatively accurate as well.

I have a lot of issues with it but it was worth seeing for the good parts.
I think that it may be the most obviously emotionally manipulative show ever to come out of a comedian.

Watching "The Last Dance" documentary about The Chicago Bulls 97/98 season and the careers of Jordan, Pippen and Rodman.

It's great so far.

On to season 7 of The Walking Dead and I'm loving Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, though I will need a bit of development of the character to stop him getting old. I also hope Darryl kills Dwight (don't spoil it for me).

The whole "Kingdom" thing with the dude and the tiger is just stupid.

Season 7 rapidly takes on a daytime TV sword and sorcery vibe. It goes from hardcore to who cares.

If Kevin Sorbo had turned up it would have surprised no one.

Negan was fucking shite too. Very badly cast and acted.

Netflix's Never Have I Ever

Finish After Life S2 over a couple of nights. The “toilet humour” was a bit egregious this time around but the emotional punch was real.

The final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. starts this month.... so finally starting to watch the previous season.... I watched the premier when it aired and then didn't continue.... so finally just watched the second ep of the season....

Westworld season 3

(I skipped season 2)

Fantastic season. The last episode was insane and delivered in scope in a way the show hasn't done before. Aaron Paul was, of course, a fantastic addition to the show but the real star of season 3 is Evan Rachel Wood. In a show loaded with fantastic actors she tops them all in the finale.

Massive cliffhanger for season 4 in the post-credits scene too.

On to season 8 of The Walking Dead, along with season 3 of The Big C. The final season of The Last Ship is now available on Prime, so I'll be watching that as well.

The Midnight Gospel. Duncan Trussell is a trip. This whole show is a trip. Everything is a trip.

Purchased the new season of Westworld. I'll re-watch seasons 1 and 2 before starting the third, as it has been awhile since I saw either.

I'll finish season 8 of TWD before trekking through Westworld again.

They should do a prequel series to Westworld where they show the horrendous abortions of sex-robot history.

I enjoyed the season well enough, I think I just needed time to "get over" the fact that it made no sense anymore in the MCU timeline.

Him & Her on BBC iPlayer. Forgot how hilarious this was.

Also, Sarah Solemani is stunning.

The Flash annoyed me in Season 2 - never watched after that. Reverse Flash is the gayest thing ever.

I feel like the writers of the show weren't told what was gonna happen in Endgame so at the start of the season they skipped ahead a year thinking that that would make it so they didn't need to address anything. Then Endgame came out and skipped five years ahead and the tv writers were probably all "......Godammit"

The Avengers thing was fucking stupid too. Oh, the bad guy won. Just kidding, now we know his plan, we can stop it.

Watched Gentefied on Netflix. Thought it was hilarious.

Finished seasons 1 to 9 of The Walking Dead; I will have to wait until season 10 is on Prime before I can watch that one. The series definitely lost something after season 6, but I'm not quite sure what. It is still watchable, but definitely past its prime. I can't say I missed Rick once he was gone.

I'm going to finish the final season of The Last Ship and re-watch seasons 1 and 2 of Westworld before starting the new one. I'll probably watch seasons 1 to 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, though I saw the first season ages ago and thought the characters were 'blah' at best.

What it lost was any semblance of credibility with the disappearance of its roots in reality and as a commentary on the human condition.
Season 7 onwards is a complete departure into fantasy and it feels like a different show altogether.

Sooooooo much this. I remember my wife caught the glimpse of the episode where Karl's mom (can't remember her name) was giving birth in the jail and Carl had to kill her. She wanted to watch it after that. She thought it was just a big zombie shoot em up show.


I told her it was more about the people and how they survive, etc. And that the zombies more or less feel like a side-piece. yeah...... shit should be on sci-fi now with things like "ICE SPIDERS!!!"

That one season that was like 90% scenes of humans shooting at other humans with barely anything else going on was too much for me.....

That would have been season 8.

Yeah.... just seemed like people just shooting at each other with very occasional dialog and story.
