Frost/Nixon 9/10

I had absolutely no interest in seeing it and ended up loving it.

Saw V: 4/10


Not a goddamn thing happened in this movie except for flashbacks and some people died. I mean, I know most folks don't like Saw already, but I keep watching for the wacky plots and ridiculous, half nonsensical twists. This didn't even have that much. The big twist was that there wasn't any twist. It might as well have been Hostel.

Milk: 8.5/10

In the Valley Of Elah 7/10 — Tommy Lee Jones plays a father of a soldier back from Iraq who goes missing and he pretty much investigates into it himself. Jones got nominated for an best actor Oscar, pretty good.

Dijmon Hansou is amazing.

Resident Evil: Degeneration 7/10

Much beter than the live action efforts. Leon is the man.

I gave it a 5 probably cause I watched it at 3 different times, and I was kind of out of it (Very tired) all three times. I'll watch it again and rerate it.

But if I remember correctly, it was awesome, its a 5 out of 10....I really enjoyed it, except the fact that the ending confused me. Clive Owen, what exactly did he do? Did he steal a bunch of diamonds and just leave? I'ma go and watch it again and rerate.

Max Payne - 2/5

Somebody call Funky Bunch, he's in a bit of a downspin.

Whalberg is a one dimensional actor.

I think the only movie I've ever enjoyed with him in it was The Departed, and even then, he wasn't a leading role.

Shooter was a good movie.

Italian Job was awesome. And yes, he is an excellent actor.

But what I meant was, before Max Payne he was in The Happening. Both really aren't that good. That's why I'm kind of worried.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - 3.5/5

Too long and alot of the story could have been cut out or cut short. People in front of me ducked out early.

Tip: Buy a large soda. Almost fell asleep.

I really do like Wahlberg's movies, for the most part. Sure, he's been on a bit of a downturn recently, but he's done some solid stuff.

Mark Wahlberg can be a good supporting guy, but if your letting him carry a movie then that movie more then likely is going to suck.

It was long, but not Peter Jackson "Let's Stare at this Ring and Walk around a Mountain B-Roll for Three Hours" long.

Yeah, that was my major beef with the film.

Pan's Labyrinth 8/10

I was expecting something much different than what it turned out to be. Not sure that I would have applauded for 22 minutes at Cannes or wherever that occurred, but it was pretty good and I'm not French.
