A lot of these shows are definatley piggy backing off of the success of the Joey Janela spring break shows, but a few of them are offering some pretty cool matches. The Frank Mir-Dan Severn one is taking place at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport which has more of a focus on catch/shoot/mma style wrestling and features guys with mma, amateur wrestling, etc. backgrounds so that one makes sense.

The last Bloodsport show was Matt Riddle's and featured him against Suzuki.

L.A. Park vs Pentagon sounds kind of hype, though.

Pretty much since Mania week is usually when the indies make their most money in the year, especially for the smaller ones.

Between them sharing costs for venues and the talent pool of notable names, it makes sense for the same guys to appear on multiple shows and wacky matchups to be possible. Last year it was Matt Riddle who had the most bookings I think.

They had a street fight on MLW a few months ago that was the shit. They pretty much go huevos out every time,which makes the matches great.

So0ooooooo many good matches scheduled for the Lucha Bros (hey STD, they're luchadors and they also happen to be brothers, I don't want to have to explain this to you again). Anything vs. LAX is bound to be a banger, plus Lucha Bros vs RVD and Sabu should be interesting / fun as hell. Thennnnn there's Penta/Muta/Tajiri which should be cool too.

Really excited to see Tanaka go. Him and Cage should be interesting.

Think it's hilarious that the Lucha Underground vs. Impact match has 6/8 people from Lucha Underground, including Cage and Mundo on the Impact side :lol:

And Bandido vs. Ospreay should be flippy shit central.

And Dragon Lee and Cavernario are both pretty good.

Brock to SmackDown is something I've expected.

On the string of ROH tapings where Lifeblood debuted, Bandito was over as fuck. And it didn't seem "ironic". Everybody in the group got decent reactions, but it was like CM Punk in Chicago stark (comparitvely for the size of an ROH crowd - preemptive strike on an "outpopped DX" joke). Should I be catching up on this guy?

If you love the high flying style stuff then you probably should. Feel like he's one of the top flyers coming in to the US from Mexico. Besides the 3 in the match, Rey Horus does some unreal stuff, Drago is just as solid as a dragon that wrestles can be, Aerostar throws himself from crazy high places and King Cuerno /Hijo de Fantasma is very good as well.

He has people willing to pay to get episodes 2 days early. So, whoever does that will. It's a good deal for getting like 20 3+hour shows if you like that sort of Indie stuff.

No offence to her, but she really thinks she's much better looking than she actually is. She's not much more than a silicone enhanced generic blonde that are a dime a dozen.

Seems WWE finally realized it was a bad idea to rush Renee Young into commentary since the new plan for her is to talk a lot less from now on.

Was revealed in a recent episode of Renee Young's Regular Girls podcast show.

Besides being rushed into the spot, also doesn't help she still hasn't really found her groove in commentary or mesh well with Cole and Graves announcing styles. Her most notable stuff so far has been saying "Oh" and bickering with Graves a lot during shows.

Do we really need a female commentator? Or do we HAVE to have one for the sake of "balance" and appeasing the Feminazi's.

I'd blame WWE's mandate on wanting 3-man teams for almost all of their shows and them being terrible at making historical or big PR moments feel genuine.

She does have actual broadcasting experience and has been better than a few others who have been the 3rd person in a WWE booth. She pretty much also got picked because its slim pickings on those with actual experience in WWE and Michael Cole hand picking those to be groomed as potential successors.

I'm sure it would help if Graves didn't act like a spastic twat during the shows. Who in the fuck could possibly do commentary with Graves yelling shit like some autistic kid.

Becky Lynch is going to be ice cold by the end of the year.

You aren't wrong, but I don't think it would be due to anything she herself does. She'll be cooled off by the same folks who cool off everything that gets over on its own and doesn't fit into the box that they think works.

I do like Becky, but she’s in some deep water and she’s not the best swimmer. Her selling is pretty bad, to be honest. The booking won’t help her, but she won’t be able to help herself. She’s over with this audience and they’re carrying that, but she’s not over for any particular reason other than general goodwill and the E fucking up the booking.

I think she will remain over. Not as over, because they do ruin everything... but she'll stay at the top of the scene for the foreseeable future.

I don't see her going the way of Sasha/Bayley because she is a good talker
