If I was going to give anyone the Stone Cold gimmick it would have been Dean Ambrose several years ago. I've always felt he could do incredible things with a gimmick like that.

I’m sure this was around the same time period. Roman won the belt at Survivor Series 2015 and Sheamus cashed in. Then the League of Nations was formed and Reigns won the belt back following TLC to lose it in the Royal Rumble when The League beat him up and he got taken to the back like a pussy, then he came back and Triple H still won. Then they beat New Day at WrestleMania and got beaten down by the legends afterwards.

Apparently ROH partially spoiled the results of NJPW's on-going New Japan Cup.

During tonight's 17th Anniversary show, ROH announced a title vs title match for G1 Supercard between Jeff Cobb (ROH TV) and Will Ospreay (Never Openweight). Problem is Ospreay is still active in the New Japan Cup tournament to find out who challenges Jay White for the IWGP title.

ROH did quickly pulled the tweet announcing the match after realizing they screwed up big time.

After some research, it seems he formed the League of Nations AFTER his quick title run. I forgot they were involved in taking Reigns out at the Rumble though.

Either way, Corbin’s stable is worse.

ROH somehow managed to top the gaffe earlier regarding NJPW's New Japan Cup by having their World title match be in the middle of the card, end in a 60 minute draw, and have the person challenging for the belt at G1 Supercard literally just show up and take the title to the back with him.

Now they are holding an impromptu concert as a mid-show break because why not.

Bully Ray decided to interrupt this concert to make fun of the rappers and started randomly talking about wrestling video games as part of his rant.

ROH has gone into hot mess mode, for some reason. It must be Cornette’s commentary in MLW immediately making them #3 US-based behind WWE and a promotion that hasn’t had its first show yet.

To be honest, and while New Japan might be a bit butt-hurt at the AEW guys splintering off, this is a good excuse to part ways with ROH after G1 Supercard. A “look, we had this obligation with you, we’ve fulfilled it, but you kind of Russo’d us there — all the best” moment.

I feel like ROH has been “flat” forever now. Not bad, just not something I care to have on my radar. Delirious has been booking there forever. Maybe it’s time to offer him an executive position, get a fresh mind in, and pump some money into it?

Last time I watched a ROH event live, they legit pulled a similar stunt with Bully Ray having an impromptu segment that went on way too long and same for the ROH World title match.

Same show that had the very hyped up Omega vs Cody match that they decided to not have as the main event even though it was the main reason why the show broke their record for ticket sales.

I always liked the matches Regal had with Finlay. They had this different vibe from what you normally saw*. Not even the most heated blood feuds or "extreme" matches that I recall were this downright vicious. This isn't even the "Grit Your Teeth!" match from Uncensored, but it is referenced quite a bit in the match.
