Boredom has lead me to check out WWEShop and I noticed that Zack Ryder's standee is the only one that's had it's price reduced. Even the Sin Cara and Hornswoggle standees cost more than Ryder's. I decided to check out Ryder's page on WWEShop and he currently has 25 items for sale, but 21 of those have their prices reduced. I remember the days when people cared about Ryder. I still like Ryder but I don't see him as a singles guy now. I doubt he'll get another chance to "prove himself" like he did when he became US Champion. I would love it though if we saw the return of Hawkins & Ryder as a team. That would be great. Though I will say that he still needs to work on his mic skills. I still remember that promo he gave when he was US Champion and he was in the ring with Bryan and Punk. That was pretty "cringeworthy". If Vince is serious this time about working on the tag division with introducing Los Matadores, then adding Hawkins & Ryder to the division would be a good move. More teams. Los Matadores The Usos Rollins & Reigns The Prime Time Players The Wyatt Familly (Harper & Rowan) The Real Americans Big Show & Mark Henry 3MB Tons Of Funk Add Hawkins & Ryder and maybe a jobber team of Gabriel & Tatsu and the division is set to go. :y: Then again, Hawkins & Ryder would most likely be used as a jobber team too. |

Didn't realise he had held it so long. I could only think of either TAKA's debut where they basically handed him the title and didn't really have a division yet, or when Helms held it, and WWE didn't really have the division left. |
By the time Helms got it they smartened up and decided to go with the Crusierweight Championship so they didn't have the stink of that failure of a Light Heavyweight title. It was actually the only belt to retain the "WCW Version" after the invasion.

I think it's disgusting that Darren Young beat Cesaro twice this past week, just because he's getting a push from his coming out coverage in the media. He could at least have gone over some jobbers.

I was on a show with Neidhart about two years ago, and before the show he did a seminar for any of the wrestlers who wanted to take part. Was a fucking joke. The guy was completely out of it. Took him two minutes to get through the ropes (no exaggeration), and after pulling off that amazing feat, he was sweating buckets.
Guy still did enough in the ring to send the punters home happy, but overall, throughout the day he reeked of that "former WWE superstar struggling without the spotlight" stigma. |

I remember reading somewhere that he wanted to become an ordained minister like his dad, so maybe that'll be one of the things he pursues now. Good luck to him though.
