With that being said I'd give it a 3/10. That's generous.
As far as entertainment value I'd actually give it a 5.5/10, because the 3D was a gas and the ability to laugh at the terribleness of the movie was a good time with friends. Gets a point for Tom Atkins too. But yes, it was a stinker. |
Jumper 5/10 — Mildly entertaining I suppose. Decent enough concept. Cookie cutter plot though.
|
Milk 9/10
Brilliant movie that couldn't have had better timing, but it was soooo damn long. |
Semi Pro 7/10
|
The Wrestler - 5/5
Alot of lol parts. Called out a few wrestlers I recognized too. I  Marissa Tomei. Gotta go buy My Cousin Vinny tomorrow. |
Revolver with Jason Statham 6/10 Kinda boring
|
Brazil 9/10 - Had been meaning to see it for a long time but it's a tough movie to get a hold of. Excellent
|
Battlestar Galactica: Razor - 3.5/5
Backstory movie to certain events. Not bad. |
How to Lose Friends and Alienate People 8/10
 Simon Pegg |
I was talking more about how bland everything looked and how certain scenes looked as though they were shot for a straight to DVD movie.
|
Yea fair enough. It sucked for sure. I just am easy on it since it's a total gimmick
|
What twist of fate got you to go see that shit in 2D? I feel your pain
|
Max Payne 6/10 Hardly any action until the end.
|
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry 8/10 — Honestly didn't expect much, can't get into Sandler comedies past the first couple of his career but this had some lol moments.
|
It had Jessica Biel's kaboose featured prominently, which bumps it up at least 5 stars instantly
|
Gran Torino 9.5/10
Only problem: (spoilers) He should have drove the Gran Torino to the showdown. Not once in the movie do you see him drive it. So it would be badass to have seen him in it on his way there. |
|
In Bruges - 8/10
|
Taken 7.5/10
|
Jerry just saved us all two hours.
|
The Wrestler- 9/10
|
A History of Violence 9/10
|
Burn after Reading - 7.5/10
Brad Pitt was pretty awesome in this film. |
The Craft 5/10 — I think I've run through every movie on HBO On Demand and this was kind of shit to be honest.
Fear 6/10 — A movie with Markie Mark, Gil from CSI, the blonde from Legally Blonde (can't remember her name for fucks sake). Not a bad thriller. Kind of predictable, cookie cutter storyline but it was mildly entertaining to have on in the background. |
Get Smart - 5.5
|
Frost/Nixon - 4/5
From the trailers on TV and theatres, I thought "Damn. This looks hardcore but with zero action. I might like this." Then I go and see it, and it was kinda mellow all the way through. |
The Weatherman 6/10
It had okay points in it (Michael Caine being most of them). He's not in it very much though (but it's the appropriate length of time for his character). |
True Romance 7.8 - 10
|
Pineapple Express 9/10
Don't mess with the Zohan 6/10 |
Burn after reading 8/10
|
Doomsday 3/10
Total clusterfuck of a movie. |
Underworld-Rise of the Lycans: 6/10

Or just download it now if it's available. |
If you're really into the Underworld series, go see it. But it's just a middling action flick to me.

Tropic Thunder 8/10
TC and Downey are immense. |
Night And the City 7/10 — DeNiro flick from '92 where he plays a fast talking lawyer, gets into boxing promoting. Fairly entertaining, comedic with a little drama sprinkled in.
|
Man On The Moon - 7/10
I'd seen part of this before but actually sat down and watched it this time. Enjoyable enough. |
Taken - 5.5/10.
The acting in this movie is very top notch, especially Maggie Grace. Other than that, Liam Neeson kicked ass and took names. |
